This is not related to stocks, I don't think. But did any one here watch MYTH BUSTERS last night???

I couldn't believe what I saw when they showed that an elephant (that HUGE multi ton animal) is actually afraid of a little, bitty, tiny mouse...............when the elephant saw that tiny mouse it actually got a bit of fright, just like in the cartoons...................LOL

I know what you mean - I am not much of a day time television person (I'd rather be outside) but I could imagine the whole family sitting around wearing sunglasses at night watching TV (funny look) - but I suppose this is where the song comes handy, "I wear my sunglasses at night..........." LOL

I am what the industry call an "early adopter", but this 3D stuff leaves me totally cold.

Not going to sit around the house in sunglasses watching the occasional 3D film. Maybe in 10 years when there is a body of work and no sunglasses.

I watch it every week Blue.
Diff strokes for diff folks. I took it in humour as you did, but my wife got a bit upset over it.
Fiona is out of favour a bit lately after the drinking episode, where she collapsed on stage & cancelled her live show because she was drunk. Will take a while to live that down.

Did you happen to watch SPICKS & SPECKS this week??? If you are familiar with the show then you will realise these guys just carry on all in the name of good fun and laughter and no harm is intended. This week they had a female comedian and they brought up the name of Bindy and she flung a few remarks here and there (which I'm sure it was intended to be all fun with no offense intended), and this morning I hear on Channel 7 morning show that there was an UPROAR by viewers and the channel 7 switch board all lit up over complaints from irate viewers. Fairdinkum, give it a break people I say, there was no offence in those jokes that I can see, it is a comedy show - have a sense of humor for heavens sakes.............

I wonder whether there had been any reaction if it had been shoot-'em-up westerns, WWF Wrestlemania, or some Super Mario computer games. At least those "Ladies of the Night" promised them wub.gif Love wub.gif .... tongue.gif

Perhaps they were already in their rooms & Dad was none the wiser. I wouldn't have mentioned it when I was a kid smile.gif
Lot's of young ones have their own TV's in their bedrooms these days.
Pretty scandalas thing to be able to occur though.

March 18, 2010 - 3:11PM

Young viewers of children's television programs in North Carolina got a glimpse of something far more risque than their favourite cartoons, when a cable glitch broadcast two hours of the Playboy channel.

"Due to a technical malfunction, some adult programs had been diverted on children's networks," Time Warner Cable vice-president of public relations Alex Dudley said.

"We sincerely apologise."

The equipment failure, which took place between 6.15am and 8.15am on Tuesday, beamed previews of adult shows with scantily clad women striking suggestive poses and talking dirty into a portion of the Kids on Demand and Preschool on Demand channels, local media reported.

The cable operator reportedly learnt of the glitch when worried parents alerted it to the problem.
