This looks an interesting story and I happen to be shopping just now.

I sense a Speeding Ticket coming up.
Or it could be another promising announcement like the recent Polish connection.
(I hold already.)

Have traded the spike; am now wondering if another leg-up could be coming. Today's candle suggests it just might turn.

But then again - yesterday's candle looked the same ...

It keeps getting better smile.gif

The Monthly chart suggests there might be "something more" coming. After trading the initial swing, I'm now also building a holding.

Have they turned their performance around? The weekly chart suggests improving market sentiment. 2.9c seems to be the key level.

further "diversification"
QUOTE
DataDot Technology (ASX:DDT) has announced initiatives outside the automotive sector.

Following the success of DataDotDNA application in the automotive sector, the new DataDot Plus theft prevention service is targeted at organisations affected by industrial-scale copper theft. Copper theft is an escalating problem worldwide, especially in the electricity distribution and mobile telecommunications industries.

Introduction of DataDot Plus is expected to establish an additional industry-based revenue stream. In just the same way as DataDotDNA has conventionally been applied to motor vehicles, DataDot Plus will be used to mark copper with an owner's identity and the asset and ownership details will be recorded on a database accessible by police.

DDT is implementing four DataDot Plus pilot projects in both utility and telco sectors in Australia and the United States with major organisations in each sector. These projects will conclude by mid September 2012, following which the DataDot Plus service will be made available to all participants in these industry sectors.

Migration of the service is expected to other industries including construction and mining.
