Remember GDY have a whole that can make electricity. But no way of getting that electricity to the grid! Morons!

In Reply To: arty's post @ May 3 2013, 01:01 PM I was in between 14c and 10c. Sold 1/3 already. Don't know about any bubbles but am willing to trade the hype. But judging by the way PTR reacted, I can see plenty of cradle rocking and heartbreaks ahead. Looking back, there seems to be a few 'fishy' parcels being exchanged just prior to the lunge. And thanks. Your advice is always appreciated. |

In Reply To: jwlkr's post @ May 3 2013, 12:51 PM Onya, Mate! You deserve a lucky break! I hope you bought below 10c - and don't forget to take profit before the bubble bursts. -------------------- I trade daily, but I am not a licensed adviser. In Reply To: arty's post @ May 3 2013, 11:20 AM Hi Arty, I'm one very lucky SoB. Beginner's Luck. I have a HUGE exposure to this stock (~20% my portfolio). I was over-exposed and it was, at the time, a highly uninformed and stubborn choice. In retrospect, I'm the village idiot who walked into a goldmine. |

In Reply To: jwlkr's post @ Dec 22 2012, 10:12 PM I hope you did dip your toes in. I missed it - and regret not taking the hints Had a look yesterday and made a half-hearted attempt at 10.5c, which wasn't filled any more. Reckon I was just as stupid as Origin. -------------------- I trade daily, but I am not a licensed adviser. In Reply To: jwlkr's post @ Dec 22 2012, 10:12 PM Habanero 4 drilling progress. Investors getting pretty impatient with the lack of feedback. Maybe it's time to beat that dead horse a bit more and send it below 10 cents. And out of all the clean tech companies, this one actually classifies as a vestige of hope. Says a lot about the state of play in the industry at the moment. |

Origin, TRUEnergy and Energy Australia "wrote off" their respective investments in geothermal citing a lack of tangible return over the past decade as the reason for doing so. In the meantime, GDY has recently completed major stimulation at Habanero 4 and a third open flow test estimated to be carried out in February 2013.
"Origin will continue to monitor the drilling program and reserves the right to resume paying its full contribution to the well cost and return to full participation at any stage," an Origin spokesperson said. So not a complete withdrawal of support but nonetheless pocket money has been cut until solid results. 2 old questions: 1. does it work and 2. how much? So now Geodynamics is forced toundertake the FY2013 capital work program activities on a sole risk basis. Under the terms of the Joint Venture Operating Agreement, Origin Energy will have the right to return to maintain its full 30% participation in the Joint Venture prior to the end of the financial year through a buy back provision, or alternatively, dilute its ongoing participating interest beyond FY2013. 10 years of foreplay, time to get your $h!t together. Shape up or ship out. Also on the table Kentor Gold (ASX: KGL) has entered into a two stage earn-in and joint operating agreement with Geodynamics (ASX: GDY) for the acquisition of an up to 70% interest in Kentor’s conventional geothermal power supply project in the Solomon Islands. Meanwhile, SP beaten down to 10.5 cents. I don't know what to make of this one but come Monday I might dip my toes in to test the waters. |

"Up and Down"
OK, last year's trade's profit has been taken and spent. Can we do it again? May look risky at this early stage, but I've taken a small posi again at 16c -------------------- I trade daily, but I am not a licensed adviser.
