JKA--- traded the biggest volume today in years..!
this oil play, has closed at its yearly lows of .003cents
and have a MC of only $1.5million, due for production soon../
should at least see .01cents medium term.

JKA offloaded the Somaliland asset to fund shorter term commitments at Aje with a backdoor back in clause via Petrosoma.

In some ways this is a relief as Somaliland was unlikely to be a commerical oil producer for sometime. With its political risks and need for future funding it would have left a cloud of uncertainty over JKA. At least with the back in clause they can re-join at a later stage when the cash flow from Aje is available. (This is assuming the agreement with PetroSoma is "air tight" and there is no wriggle room).

Mull

Looks like the TPT takeover will fail as the offer was not extended (and closes later today).

Its back to business for JKA to raise some short term capital.

Hopefully that will tie JKA over till Sterling have made their milestones and cough up the $12M (for its farm in to the Odewayne Block) cool.gif

Dunno Chief, I don't know what else is in the wind.
Perhaps this bid will bring others to start sniffing around to see why TPT have shown such interest.
If one does come up, I hope they offer cash rather than shares.

No, its more because I wanted JKA to remain the way it was, as I liked the management.
Not so sure about TPT.

Bugger!

...because your shareholding is watered down or that there is a chance that the takeover has a chance of failure?

I seem to recall BKP had an interest in Cap Juby only to have it reneged by the Moroccon Govt, so what certainity do we have that they won't do it again with Tarfaya?
