What do you expect, Gillard and Co are Socialists, the Greens are really Commies and should be referred to as 'Watermelons' - Green on the outside, red on the inside. With regards to the liberals and nationals I don't know what they stand for any longer, Menzies would be absolutely disgusted with them.

Didnt know where to post this, but I heard on ABC radio news today that Gillard is going to hold yet another tax summit this year to review the whole domestic tax regime.

IMO this borders on the suicidal--we already have the derided Rent Resource Tax and the Carbon Tax pending, for heavens sake can the community tolerate yet another tinkering with our domestic tax structure--especially during such an uncertain domestic financial climate.

Hello bam bam, well didnt even know how you could dicipher that.........but could be a hoax but certainly gets me wondering, I dont know what benefits they all getting but whatever it is I am sure the pensioners are not getting a fair deal.

I was sent this in my email.......makes you boggle doesnt it, you can choose either to believe it or not, I wouldnt have a clue, but stranger things go on.

The Australian Government provides he following fiancial assistance:-

Australian Aged Pensioner weekly Allowance $253.00
Weekly Spouse Allownce $56.00
Additional Weekly Hardhip Allowance $,0.00
TOTAL Yearly Benefit $16,068.00

as against:-

Illegal Immigrants/Refugees Living in Australia
Weekly Allowance $472.50
Weekly Spouse Allowance $472.50
Additional Weekly Hardship Alowance $145.00
TOTAL Yearly Benefit $56,680.00

I dont know how correct these figures are but with the hotel allowance and personal trainers that have been supplied up in Queensland it just makes you wonder why the pensioners who have supported Australia all these years dont get a better deal than newcombers arriving in this country.
