Looks like the seller has gone. What are we in store for now? Still a week to go before end of month/financial year.

Joe Biden is walking around saying, vote for me, I'm gonna cure cancer.

The guy is a politician not an oncologist or a scientist. How the hell does he know what is required to cure cancer?

Absolutely nothing is my guess. Which means, somebody who does know has told him something. What have they told him I wonder.

Nixon started the war on cancer in the seventies. I guess that was with chemotherapy. Maybe Biden wants to finish it with gene therapy.
At the same time, we have three RNAi luminaries in Dirk, Reyes and Kay all whirling around BLT science. BB-401 is actually antisense and may well be the saviour of BLT.

What will an Advanced Market Committments model actually look like in practice?
I think ALNY provides us the answer. Multiple pharma's choosing disease states and taking licence over IP application and market sectors in exchange for funding R&D to specialist biotech companies. But as in any industry, there has to be a gold standard. A benchmark that must be met or exceeded by which to measure success. That can only come about by data. Which is why I am left wondering why, all the non-American pharma's have been leaving ALNY. The Swiss, French and Japanese.
Does it mean ALNY is a failure. With billions in the bank, new drugs coming online, pipeline and contracts and facilities in place I hardly think so.
If we take Nokia and Motorola as our case study, we can see it was Finland and the rest of the world versus America. At the time, the world had to wait for the US to come up to speed with the technology, prepare their markets and develop a non-competing IP estate. A parallel universe if you like.
I am convinced we are seeing something similar with ARWR and ALNY. Although, ARWR could well become a part of MRNA soon. As could BLT considering ALNY already have carte blanche use of their IP and BB-401 is "distinct" from the rest of the ddRNAi pipeline which we know to be a bust.

Next Friday 5PM would be the ideal time. G20 is done. All end of tax selling is done. Nobody can buy back in until Monday. End of the financial year. Just in time for Independence Day celebrations. But if Trump wants to get maximum impact he will make an announcement on their Friday afternoon when the entire eastern seaboard is stuck in traffic as they make their way home or head off on vacation.

I see the CSO guy, Reyes, is ex-Stanford. So is Dirk. So is his mate, Kay. Probably all hung out in the lunch room together.

Might be a clue why Dirk is dark on BLT but holds a position in UniQure and why Voyager just got dumped. CSIRO might have something to do with it.

Don't know why he isn't on the web site though. Perhaps he has his eye on BB-401. Nicely described as "distinct" from the rest of the pipeline. Reading it carefully, the "naked" sirna and "post transcriptional" parts sound an awful lot like ssRNAi.

Maybe the saving grace for BLT will be something which isn't even theirs.

Save for a takeover for cash or similar where acceptance is mandatory at 90% anything else will require a shareholders meeting for approval.
They have six months to hold one after the end of this month. Its possible the Americans might do something in time for Independence Day but that doesn't necessarily mean the Australians have to. So, there might still be a wait yet even though the starter gun gets fired.

News is leaking....and its not good for BLT.

It's surprising that none of the pump jockeys on JC have found it worth their while to take a look at the data and determine where the volume is coming from.

It's not as if it is a difficult thing to do.

The market usually moves first. But the Chinese gave BLT to the Americans. Keep an eye on PYC.

Look at the volume! No SSH notices. No nothing.

Those Citigroup vultures must be covering their shorts or dumping big time.
