This is a question to the fundamentalists, can anyone please tell me what the share price should be for OST now that they have acquired SSX?

Cheers

You'd have to think this is a good price to buy in again, as the result is positive in a pessimistic sector. Also some reasonable debt to pay down so that impacts the bottom line. Maybe, I should see what the next few days bring. It has to be on the radar of Bluescope or someone huge in the mid term. Nice div as usual.

QUOTE (hieronymus @ Thursday 19/01/06 02:26pm)

Well it wasn't today thumbdown.gif.

The company announced today a 0.7% increase in net profit after tax for the six months ended 31 December to $60.5 million. The result was delivered on a 4% increase in revenue to $1.52 billion. CEO Ray Horsburgh said the company was pleased with the result because it had been achieved in a period in which different parts of our customer base experienced very different trading conditions.

The share price fell by 27c to $1.29 at the close sad.gif.
