Yup, I can admit when I'm wrong. Looks like I got it wrong on this one, and more and more like my worries of "manipulation" was baseless paranoia. Still I can't complain, have done very well out of GUJO, even if it turns out I mainly sold a little early. As with mme, I think it was your frequent posts on GUJ that caused GUJ to sit at the top of the sharescene queue and finally piqued my curiosity enough to check it out. Well done Mr Tibbs!

By the way, INR sitting on $1.45, values GUJ @ $1.09; and GUJO @ $0.89
So now the fun begins ... where will INR go from here? While many feel that the INR price has been "manufactured" to sweeten the merger ... each day it looks more & more like a simple re-rating of the two companies as a mergered entity!! I have always put a fair value of $1.50 for the merged GUJ/INR ... however as each month goes by, we come closer to having TWO coal mines in production, plus other projects happening, including OIL after yesterday's announcement. ALSO: Dont discount some further corporate activity ... Mother Gujarat has visions of GUJ becoming a major coal/iron ore/multi-mineral player! I would be very surprised if we dont see the sub-$2 disappear very soon in 2008 cheers |

All I can say is:
Funny, I sleep very vell at night with my GUJ/O under my pillow!! Dow falls = GUJ/O goes UP Dow drops = GUJ/O goes UP I just love it!!! Finally can say that my GUJO's have turned out a 10x bagger ... Allbeit 18 months later!!! cheers |

Same boat as you mme - no regrets though, been able to sleep a fair bit more soundly at night especially with the DOWs big swings. Good thing about my residual is that it if the price keeps going up it's not going to be much of a residual any more!

Made a boo boo with this one selling out too early. Mind you they keep changing the dates and had I known that there were to be extensions I might of held a bit longer!
