Bit more small change has fallen out of the Myer family pocket.

Sending the right message at least.

Cheers

Selling pressure may be abating here.

Needs to tackle 20 with vigour - no sign of that yet.

Should be a decent quarter based on comments from the agm.

Cheers

A tad more interest coming back into CGS.

Myer family found some loose change down the back of the sofa and did the right thing by buying a few more shares.

Cheers dekay23,

Yep, you have to love the old 'market rate' argument don't you. The inept director's best friend.

I thought they were trying to hose down expectations a bit on the CRC bid. That said, old moonface does bring some clout to the process. They are in the last 16 with another round of presentations shortly. Should know by Christmas. Most of the applications are for repeat funding which is easier to win than new applications apparently - hence their guarded expectations. Would be a significant win for CGS if it comes in.

Darby wasn't present ('overseas'). The official line is 'concentrating on his executive duties' - if that is really the reason I say good - boards are way over-rated in my opinion. Getting the founder out of the baordroom is usually a good idea in the long run.

They are on the right track with the business, Sep Q was a shocker of course, but I am prepared to cut them a bit of slack here - shame about the woodducks.

All the best

I agree oracle - a 50% increase in directors fees because they are not 'compensated in line with market rates' might be called pattern bargaining when a union is involved (which is outlawed under WorkChoices) - or is this increase just in line with the Fair Pay Commission ruling. A bit early for backslapping I think.

Do you know anything more about the neuro CRC - looks promising with Mr Wooldridge involved? And is the departure of AP Darby from the board significant?

Oh dear - just went to the agm.

What a bunch of back-slapping woodducks.

Like the business, but...

Liked it at around 50 cents (bought and sold) loved it around 12 cents bought and sold and if I could I would kick myself in the backside for being impatient!!!! biggrin.gif
