Equally - people should avoid Red Cardinal.
It is my pick and I have not picked a winner for years!!
Good luck to all - and have fun.

Listening to the missus only twice in 2 years seems a reasonable trade off . tongue.gif

Mrs B pulled the winner in her work sweep for a few dollars profit.

Don't lament too much triage. At least the owner, Lloyd Williams, is an Aussie as is the jockey. Brother in law of Michelle Payne, last years winning jockey.

I see that only one of the starters in this year's race was bred in Australia. The race really is a reflection of who we have become (biggest gambling losers in the world, and being overwhelmed by foreigners).

No 3 Curren Mirotic. No nine year old has ever won. No horse from barrier 18 has won.
If he fires on the day he will beat these nags by 10 lengths.
