OMG! More shares, more dilution and for not a whole lot of money in the big scheme of things when you are talking go it alone drug development.

This is rapidly becoming one of the best polished turds on the ASX. And a polished turd is still just a turd. This particular turd has what must be going on 4bn shares on issue fully diluted. What a nonsense.

It also explains why Huey decided to bail or got bailed if this is the best they can do.

Who are these mysterious new investors in BNTC? No sooner does their prospectus receive Notice of Effect from the SEC then these guys turn up on the registry.

Alpha Capital Anstalt who are registered in Liechtenstein and have no website. Total mystery.

https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/180...30943-index.htm

Then there is the guy Packer, nothing to do with Kerry I am guessing, from Globis Capital Partners. A Japanese VC group registered in Delaware.

https://www.globiscapital.co.jp/en/about/history/

https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/180...30943-index.htm

I get the feeling, now might be the time to buy some BLT.

ANZ says a dive in demand for foreign exchange cash caused by New Zealand's border restrictions is behind its decision to stop buying and selling foreign cash.

The country's largest bank will stop buying and selling foreign cash from November 13 but will still accept cheques in foreign currency for now.

In a statement on its website the ANZ said border restrictions due to Covid-19 had seen demand for foreign exchange cash transactions fall significantly in recent months.

"As customers are well-served by other alternatives, including specialist providers and the ability to withdraw local currency from overseas ATMs, we have taken the carefully-considered decision to discontinue foreign exchange cash services in our branches."

If its not a full takeover bid, then it will be a rip from the Morphosys - Novartis deal if anyone can remember that. Worth a google and a read if you aren't familiar with it.

Cornerstone stake at a huge premium to market price was the guts of it. In this case, the obvious vendor(s) will be Dad and the real estate guy. They sell out, make a motza, everyone elses shares get re-rated to that price. The outcome is, cheaper entry for the pharma partner, big profits for shareholders because of the risk v reward model. I.e. risk was taken and now its mitigated therefore the risk taker wants their pound of flesh while the pharma partner wants a bit more certainty than what was there before and is willing to pay for it.

But, if PYC is gene therapy's equivalent of nuclear energy's heavy water, then who is it that has the oligonucleotide which does the magic of silencing the gene (splitting the atom)? Must be ALNY given their close involvement with PYC is my guess.

Dad and the real estate guy gonna sell down for a motza is my guess.

The only real buyers have to be Pfizer or the Chinese. My bread is on the Chinese. The Americans have been in on PYC for a long time with the Liebermann connection.

If its good enough for Apple why not other tech firms? Including CSL and biotechs. Especially if a structure like Alphabet's (GOOG) is used. A lot of them are worth more than banks and can interact directly with the client digitally. Especially once digital currency is more widely accepted.

What would happen if CSL or someone scooped up all the biotechs and listed on the NASDAQ? The market cap would be so great they could buy the banks or just set up their own.

Short story is, banks are on a death watch. Their model is now outdated.

Strange things happen with IONS related companies. Whatever happens, good or bad , the cause of it will not be endogenous to the company. You can see that with one quick look at share price history and management.

Can't understand why that fund is selling down if blue skies are a surety.

My old mate slayer always said he didn't have a clue about the science (but he was happy to be one of the largest shareholder in PYC. Figure that one out.) In that case, the following would be lost on him if in fact the ARWR endosome escape hatch technology is actually PYC's like I have said all along.
QUOTE
The study of Johnson & Johnson's Covid-19 vaccine has been paused due to an unexplained illness in a study participant.

A document sent to outside researchers running the 60,000-patient clinical trial states that a "pausing rule" has been met, that the online system used to enroll patients in the study has been closed, and that the data and safety monitoring board — an independent committee that watches over the safety of patients in the clinical trial — would be convened. The document was obtained by STAT.

Contacted by STAT, J&J confirmed the study pause, saying it was due to "an unexplained illness in a study participant." The company declined to provide further details

It kinda means PYC is going down the crapper. Hence the pump and dump.

Eerily familiar to me. During the 80's Japanese bubble economy parents were pledging the incomes of their newly born children as collateral for a mortgage as long as it was insured. Grandparents were providing deposits to those parents by borrowing against their properties. Three generations of income just so one generation can have a house to live in and raise a family. Outrageous.

The good news is, we know how it ended. It's the same in the west now.

Banks are going to cack themselves. Just imagine if they put a border tax on hot foreign investment monies.

Why this is important is because if you pay attention to what Trump is saying, Regeneron is the wonder cure for Covid. If that is the case, and they are about to go live with widespread distribution of it under emergency use conditions, then licencing fees will have to be paid since the Merck v Integra safe harbour provisions no longer apply.
BLT, I am sure never had any relationship with Regeneron, so that puts them out of the race.

But then, is Trump really so big a moron he is going to be tweeting about Regeneron being a miracle cure for Covid when he knows full well what the commercial ramifications of such a thing would be? Only if he holds REGN shares.

He wouldn't be talking like this unless something is imminent. Maybe something for the weekend.

Definitely a nasty capital raise coming up. Hence the filing of this.

Also, there is no mention of any Melbourne office in the following documents. So the redomiciling of BLT must be complete. Probably brought about by a IP transfer or some other almost impossible to see act.

Guess the fate of BLT now rests with the SEC granting a Notice of Effectiveness. Otherwise this share will drift under a buck and eventually be struck off the bourse.

BLTs story is a sad and sorry one unless you were a insider. Just look at PFs largesse. Quite sickening tbh.

No reason for it that I can see. In which case it can only be someone getting out quickly ahead of bad news or a naked short attack to ensure a cap. raise on the cheap.

If the DOCA has been agreed to and DOCA administrators appointed, it should be a relatively straightforward matter to hold the necessary shareholders meeting to gain approval.

A full month has passed since the above happened. They said the meeting will be in September or October. We are now at the end of the Sept. and still no meeting notice or provision of the contents of the DOCA.

Seems a little drawn out to me even if they are still within their stated timelines. Is there something else going on?

Whatever the authorities see as the threat that mandates this social experiment it may be an amalgam of different issues. Could be race and religion but I would say the underlying issue would be socio-economic disparity.

It's as if property ownership has given rise to a type of modern day peasantry. From which comes many ills. Human trafficking, slavery, forced prostitution, drug running and use of to name just a few. And disease control is a major factor in this environment.

A closer look will reveal a wresting back of monetary policy from the Reserve Bank and its siblings. That's one of the reasons usury is out of favour and the banks aren't happy about it.

To add to my comments of future possible conflict founded in race or religion, one cannot discount the trend for ethnic separatism and privilege amongst the indigenous population due to increased marginalization from immigration.

Any future republic aspirations of the politicians could easily act as a catalyst for this. Either before or after the event.

And if anyone ever wants a cameo from loopy just spread the bile and hey, presto. There he is.

NZ alert levels to be reviewed today. Can't see it going down. Even though the rest of the country is in Level One (whatever happened to Level Zero?) and many Aucklanders have vacated Auckland to be out of Covid restrictions I can't see it changing any time soon. I don't believe its about a virus but more to do with changing how we live, work and play. The roads are better for it thats for sure.

Couldn't agree more but that doesn't mean such events won't happen in the future. History doesn't predict future but it can repeat without studying it. Nor do you provide any insight into why the authorities are taking such a hard line stance in some instances but not others and making these temporary changes permanent. It sure as eggs isn't because of a virus.

To put it another way, what is it the politicos know that mandates the socio-political changes currently being undertaken? There must be an event or a likelihood of such an event in the near future, like a couple or several years from now which has a high probability of occurring that has caused the brains trust to conclude it is necessary to put into place systems and structures to effect something like martial law.

While everyone is looking at the US China situation I believe its more likely to be something like race or religious wars with a political dimension. Not necessarily like what is happening in the US although that is quite likely. I am thinking more like domestic terrorism. Think, IRA, ANC, PLO etc.

How hard would it be to set off a bomb over Easter or Xmas, burn churches or disrupt some other conventional life style of typical middle class Australia?

All this immigration creates its own pressure points and some of those points might just blow its rivets out.

Can't get past the US military's involvement in MRNA. Using the atom bomb as a guide they are not averse to just pushing the red button with new technology just to see what happens. Could be that is how Covid came about.

Six weeks to go until the election. Three for NZ's.

Trump reckons there will be a vaccine before it.

The political management handbook stipulates that if you have an ace up your sleeve, play it two weeks before the election date. That way you can catch the undecided voters before they firm up in their minds what way they will go.

So we might have to wait another four weeks before we get clarity on anything.

If Trump wins, he will unleash the military against all the rabble I expect . Watch the career politicians scurry like rats from a sinking ship.

Not sure what anyone else thinks but it looks to me like we have a break out. In my experience, if breakout occurs while a company is walking through the Valley of Death, then a buy out offer soon appears. The breakout serves as a harbinger.
So watch out guys. Takover offer coming in from ARWR is my guess.

Apparently, Moderna's vaccine trial outcomes are about to be delayed for longer analysis of the data. This leaves Pfizer's vaccine as the leader.

It will be interesting to see what happens if they should emerge victorious in their quest to be first with a vaccine. If they do "win" it means they will be out of Merck v Integra safe harbour provisions and into the commericalization world. That means royalties and licencing fees to somebody.

I don't think that somebody will be BLT though. PYC possibly.

If ARWR's endosome escape hatch technology is anything at all like PYC's or even remotely connected to it then PYC can't be long for this world. ARWR is up 50% today on PII data.

Surely someone wants to offer half a billion for this thing.

Thats only about a half cent more than what its trading at now. Still less than IPO price though.

Need to study up on the Japanese banking crisis post the eighties bubble economy. Now that was a housing boom bubble.

There will be a time when bank bonds look like the worst thing you could ever buy because of the risk of default. That will be the time to move. Just pick wisely because there may be a default. Gotta know the terms of the deed and the bank needs to have good governance. Anyone who relies on the took big to fail mantra will get desecrated.

It will be great though having the bank in hock to you for a change.

A week after their claim of having cracked the holy grail for RNAi therapeutics by developing the key to delivery of cargo through the endosome layer there is barely even a ripple on the water. In fact, such a massive breakthrough announcement has commanded a 0.5c premium to recent highs.

Remember ARWR were always claiming to have the whip hand when it came to endosome escape technology. Even though I can very clearly remember PYC hamming it up when they applied for the patent in Japan I believe.

So why the lack of market interest?
PYC probably have the same kind of breakthrough BIT did when it came to having a cure for HIV.

Yeah. Sure. Or perhaps others know they are in the Valley of Death and are buzzing around like vultures.

Somebody likes something. MRNA and ALNY up about 7% each. BNTC dead in the water. Must be a reason for it. Why would they "redomicile" to the US and keep their cupboard office in Melbourne.

None of it adds up except for the fact that there is more pain ahead for shareholders who have already been done like a kipper. But if you were a new shareholder coming in then its probably a good time to buy. There exists the caveat that whatever develops out of Covid vaccines may leave BNTC absolutely dead in the water and ripe for the picking.

The HK dairy company I keep an eye on has still not released the final decision to delist from the HK stock exchange. After more than ten years of suspension and a final appeal on the final appeal two and a bit months ago there is still just nothing. Not even from the PWC guys after being appointed as liquidators, still nothing. Neither a delisting nor a liquidation. Just more than ten years of suspension.

Something a bit fishy here.

While everyone and everyting is about Covid vaccines right now, it always pays to keep an eye on ALNY. Got this from IV today. My question to the guy is, do you really expect ALNY to advertise the fact? In the old days, ALNY promised five deals before year end. Not a single one materialized. Still to this day not one. Logic dictates discretion is the better part of valour in that game.

But if you want to read something hilarious, go to HC and read the blabber being posted on PYC and how great the science is.

Not saying they're wrong. To contrary. I agree with the pumptards more than anyone. The laughs come when they so obviously ignore the elephants in the room. That being, share price, money burn and capital structure.

Biotech is a binary business. Get it right, win big. Wrong, lose the lot. Seen it time and time again. In the middle is the sizzle. That is where the money is made when the insiders know they don't actually have much which can stand up to scientific peer review.

BIT is no different from anyone else in this regard.

Do not be surprised if the company is a bust tomorrow. Then it becomes a shell. Fortunately the directors will have dibs on another business to back in to the shell. Then the cycle starts all over again.

The main asset of this company is price elasticity. They once claimed, very clearly and unambiguously, they have a cure for HIV. These claims might pass muster for the ASX news release department but never will it be scientifically endorsed.

They are con artists.

However, the price might do well next week.

Some time ago there was a major rabbit problem in the South Island of NZ. So bad it was causing ground erosion and affecting native flora and fauna. The farmers decided to take action themselves against the law and released a virus with the sole purpose of killing them enmasse. Now, there is a project underway with the express purpose of making NZ rodent free by a certain time in the future. It has not been said explicitly how they are doing this but i would not wager against the use of a virus which is terminal to the targeted rodents only. The idea that you can eradicate them by trapping and hunting alone is ridiculous.

If these are two examples of a virus being used for mass killings against a species, it is not difficult to extrapolate that up to the human species.

Thus you have the next frontier of warfare. Biological warfare.

This whole lock down business because of a virus might be some sort of preparatory legislation in order to rehearse what to do if in the future China and the US actually come to blows. Much like gas masks and bunkers in drills during the cold war against Russia.

https://www.totallyvets.co.nz/rabbit-calicivirus.html

QUOTE
Rabbit calicivirus disease (RCD), also known as haemorrhagic viral disease (RHVD), is a disease that kills rabbits. It was illegally introduced into New Zealand in 1997. Thirty to eighty percent of animals exposed to the virus will develop the disease. Almost 100% of infected animals will die.

It is unsure how the virus is transmitted, but at this stage it is assumed that rabbits acquire this highly infectious virus by breathing it in, ingestion, direct contact or through infected urine or faeces. Insects are also able to carry the virus, so isolation from other rabbits is not enough to prevent this nasty disease affecting your rabbit. The incubation period is 1-3 days and research has shown that rabbits younger than 8 weeks of age are usually resistant to the virus. There are three forms of the disease which, in severe cases, causes bleeding in the lungs, the windpipe, liver, spleen, kidneys and the heart.

Probably. He obviously got good legal advice looking at the proactive action he took to prove remorse and mitigate a repeat episode.

With behaviour like this you have to wonder what scruples he has in his work.

With some luck he'll be looking for a new job shortly...and not because of this incident. But because we have gone full circle.

Another BCCI if you ask me. House of Saud were majority shareholders during the GFC. Q regularly talks about enemy infiltration. No reason why that shouldn't include the banking system. Where do Antifa and BLM get their funding from?

Although, these things usually follow a person in the workplace despite the legal outcomes.

Being able to get away with something doesn't mean you actually do when it comes to the most important opinion; that of your peers.

All of this talk of the MRNA v Pfizer Covid vaccine getting EUA makes me wonder if this is the inflection point where we move from R&D safe haven to full on commercialization of product.

If that is the case, then there must be some seriously heady negotiations going on someplace in the world.

It's a spin of the wheel as to who will come out the big winner. Maybe that is why BIT went into a trading halt. I just hope thats karma.

Aside from BIT though there must be others involved. PYC perhaps. I see all the HC pumptards on that one have gone very, very quiet.

Next week might be exciting but still two months to go until the US elections. So has to be soon.

At some point you have to begin to question the story. Is it really all about a virus? What else could it be if it isn't?
How about a social experiment to see how far they can strip away civil rights before there are riots in the streets. Or a learning lesson in how to put the county into martial law and see where the pressure points in society lie.

Do you think the ASX' days are numbered as a result?

ISX is having a good go at bringing them to account.

If a complete legislative restructuring of the ASX with proper power transfers doesn't happen then an alternative market isn't necessarily a bad thing.

Monetary policy observers will have seen the power transfer away from the Fed and other central banks. Its not inconceivable for such things to happen in the stock markets.

Its as if the power base of every miscreant in the world that have derived all their power and influence from the market are being put upon for some reason.
It is the end of the neocon and free market doctrine. Or capitalism as we know it.

QUOTE
An executive banker responsible for arrogant and bizarre alcohol-fuelled antics on board an international flight, including abusive threats to sack an Australian Federal Police officer, has faced court.

Citibank Sydney managing director Thomas Hasan Dubmore Cribb, 39, who an Australian court said had enjoyed a "stellar career", unleashed mayhem in the final hour of an Auckland to Sydney flight on February 21.

Cribb pleaded guilty to the obstruction of a Commonwealth officer and failing to comply with crew instructions.

The agreed set of facts reveal that as the flight began to descend the Surry Hills single father enjoyed a scotch before ignoring standard in-flight safety rules. Cribb pestered the man sitting in front of him, had a loud phone conversation when electronic devices weren't allowed, and ignored five requests from a flight attendant to return to his seat as he "just needed to p***".

Australian Federal Police officers were called to meet the flight and remove Cribb, described as being "belligerent and aggressive". He made a scene as he left, whining it was "highly embarrassing" and demanded to see the supervisor.

"You have no idea who I am, you don't realise how big a mistake you've made," he said.

The aggressive behaviour continued to build with Cribb saying "I can't believe this is Australia" before unleashing a tirade of abuse at a federal police officer.

"You're gone, I'm taking your badge, you've just f***ed up. I'm taking your job, you think you've got power, you're nothing."

As police went to arrest the angry man, he tried to escape, kicking out at two officers as he was held on the ground.

A series of character references painted the corporate giant as "a gentle soul", with Cribb's lawyer describing the actions as "bizarre" and being out of character.

Cribb told police he wouldn't talk until he could call his lawyer but later apologised for injuring a police officer's thumb.

The court heard a mix of booze and anti-anxiety medication played a role in the wild antics, with the banker hauled before the Citibank board and now regularly seeing a psychologist.

Magistrate Jennifer Atkinson, in considering Cribb's remorse, lack of criminal history and positive steps to rehabilitation, placed him on a good behaviour bond without conviction.

Arresting a pregnant woman is not offensive. But entering their home, seizing personal property and arresting the woman for blabbing out loud on the internet is. They say the charge was incitement. You'd have to see what she wrote to put it into context. If it was hate speech over a prolonged period of time advocating the use of violence against other members of society or the police and organizing such things. then the sympathy wanes a bit. But if it isn't? Then this is a sad indictment against the police and lawmakers.

These things aren't done in a silo. There will be other participants on the site she was posting to. I wonder if they have been arrested as well.

Sometimes you just have to wonder if Biden was put up as leader in order to lose. What have they got up their sleeve after this election when he does?
More riots, overwhelm the police, send in the troops. Militarize domestic security and police force. Do away with the FBI.
I don't know exactly but I detect a certain amount of stage management going on.

To help resolve their problems the NZX, a privately held company, have put a call into the GCSB, NZs security intelligence service, for help.

Immediately, you have to ask yourself, what's a publicly funded state organ which operates in total secrecy doing protecting a privately held company? Of course the national interest factor is a valid concern but when did standard business practices include protecting profits for a very few people to the cost of many?

Free market doctrine mandates the need for failing businesses to fail so those resources can be utilized elsewhere. They should not be the beneficiaries of corporate welfare.

Watch this space. More to come IMHO.

This is not going to be a return to business as usual. We will see a part nationalization of the operations hopefully.

And if it happens in NZ it will most likely happen in Australia. The ASX' days are numbered I would say.

Its looking more and more like we will have to wait for the AGM season to kick in before we get any kind of deal making happening. Then the necessary shareholder approvals and the like can be obtained.

So we have to wait for announcement then process then closing.
Closing I expect will be either right before Christmas or very early in the new year. Announcements could be any day but more likely to be sometime in Sept.

Did breach their own constitution it should say. By having the closing date for directors so late it put them under the two month directive. But that is only if they hold the AGM at Sept. end. Any earlier and its blatant. Any later, they need the waiver to hold the AGM later than statute allows.
All very strange. But its not as if the NZX, FMA or anyone else is going to give a rats and actually do anything about it.

My guess is they will be good enough for the FDA to grant permission for the product to go straight to market while conducting the PIII under the Right to Try Act.

There is something definitely funny going on here. We still haven't had a AGM notice despite the call for directors closing on the 6th.

The Companies Act requires a AGM to be held no more than six months after the accounting period. In this case that's September end.

Usually, a company's constitution requires the close of director nominations to be between two and three months ahead of the AGM. Not earlier and not later than.

The AGM notice must be no less than two weeks before the AGM. Still time there. About three weeks.

Unless the constitution is different from the norm or they have received an undisclosed NZX waiver, then they are in breach of their own constitution.

It's strange they are providing any notice at all about anything. They haven't done so for a long time.

The sooner this pox is given its medicine the better.

What the biotech world has been waiting for is an effective and safe delivery system.

Indeed, waynesworld. Delivery with efficacy and safety…

Days after Biomarin’s AAV8 mediated gene therapy rejection by the FDA due to concerns about waning efficacy, a third patient death has been reported in a separate gene therapy trial.

Astellas' subsidiary company, Audentes Therapeutics, reported this week the death of a third patient in its Phase 1/2 clinical trial of AT132 in the rare genetic neuromuscular disorder, X-linked myotubular myopathy. The FDA had already put the clinical trial on hold two months ago after two patients died.

A preliminary investigation has suggested that the latest patient died of gastrointestinal bleeding, while the two previously reported deaths were from sepsis. All three patients were reported to have suffered from liver disease after receiving AT132 and all three patients came from the 17 patient group that had received a higher dose.

Audentes has said that the three patients who died were both older and heavier. The AAV5 mediated AT132 is dosed per kilogram, meaning that heavier people will have received a bigger viral load. Previous research has suggested that systemic administration of high doses of AAV vectors directly damages liver cells and causes inflammation.

Something big coming to set off a catastrophe or fireworks to hook the voters in is my best guess. And there is really only about ten weeks to do it in. A bit less really because time is of the essence.

Nobody has anything to worry about here. They're not coming for me because I have my mask on...until the day they do for some other reason. If they can enter the home without warrants, its one very small step to detain for no reason. Like thinking out loud on the internet.
But if you download the app, you won't catch Covid.

https://www.zerohedge.com/technology/melbou...t-wearing-masks

QUOTE
Authored by Paul Joseph Watson via Summit News,

Authorities in Melbourne, Australia will use high-tech surveillance drones to catch people outside not wearing masks as well as to scan for vehicles that are in violation of curfew by being more than 5km from home.

The drones will also be used to ensure skate parks and playgrounds remain empty.

The surveillance devices can be flown up to a distance of 7km and produce images so clear they can "read a vehicle's number plate from 500 meters away."

Privacy advocates are concerned that there is no sunset clause on the use of such technology and the drones could continue to be used to spy on citizens after the pandemic ends.

7News Melbourne spoke to two residents who said they weren't worried because they were behaving and had "nothing to hide."

The measures are just the latest example of what represents one of the most draconian coronavirus lockdowns in the developed world after the state of Victoria announced a "state of disaster" in response to an uptick in COVID-19 cases.

There have been several instances of police physically tackling people for not adhering to mask wearing rules, including one incident when a woman was placed in a chokehold by a male police officer.

Police have also been given the power to enter people's homes without a warrant and perform quarantine spot checks.

Drivers are also being asked to show their papers at highway checkpoints simply to get to work.

Anyone caught outside without a mask or violating the 8pm-5am curfew also risks being made to pay a massive fine.

As the post below illustrates, the rules are also being enforced by Australian Defence Force troops patrolling parks and other outdoor areas.

Police also fined a couple for allowing their child to play further than 5km from their home, while also executing a search warrant against and seizing computers belonging to two men who were planning an anti-lockdown protest.

So buckle up. This carbunkle is only set to get worse. Question is how far will the infection spread.

All this talk of CSL producing vaccine for Covid is interesting. Makes me wonder how many contributing pieces of IP there are from which companies. Its interesting when you think of the scope of it. Raw ingredients, IP ownership, royalties, production venue and plant, storage, warehousing and distribution, delivery to the patient through device, clinicians, payments and subsidies etc, etc. Its quite involved. Some prime candidates around in line for a huge price spike.

I also wonder if Covid is having an effect on the banks. Loans turning bad, mortgage holidays, low interest rates and low margins, high leverage for low capital ratios, repatriated funds etc. What if someone can't settle with the Reserve Bank? Or the Reserve Bank comes out with new rules and requirements overnight. What then?

Laws have been passed which require a bank to bail in first before seeking a bail out. Meaning, they have to hit on their clients and customers deposits and assets first before they can tap the government for help.

Can you imagine if this were to happen during lockdown? Nobody can get to the bank for withdrawals or transfers. Online stuff is capped or just turned off. Its like you can't even take to the streets to protest. You just wake up one day twenty or thirty or more percent poorer with a capital call thereafter I expect. Ouch! And there isn't a thing you can do about it. It's like Opes Prime was a dummy run. A small scale pilot.

Of course Covid would be blamed. But somewhere in the back of the mind would be lurking a suspicion that this Covid thing is just a massive dog and pony show to con the masses and Nero in Sky had it planned all along.

It was Goebbels, Hitler's crony, who said, if you are going to lie to the people make it so big that nobody can doubt it or disprove it. So it is with Covid.

Look! See! The numbers. They don't lie.

The more things change the more they stay the same.

Headlines are becoming more and more couched to amplify the desired narrative.

For example, students in all grades of schools and universities are testing positive. But, aren't ill and completely asymptomatic. Meaning, they were perfectly healthy children with maybe a winter sniffle.

Main focus going on a cold store. The claim is the virus came in on frozen goods. A cool store is a big freezer. An employee will be in and out of a freezer all day, going from sub zero temperatures to ambient to air conditioned temperatures and humidities in the middle of winter. The perfect conditions for someone to catch a cold in. Experts are politely rubbishing the frozen goods claims but that doesn't suit the narrative so it gets talked over.

It's a classic case of amplify that which suits the narrative ignore that which doesn't because we're the ones holding the megaphone.

They're setting up for Melbourne lite.

From the same article. A range of companies could well include PYC.

More from the same article. A case of a range of different components making up the whole I suspect.

Is this what we are waiting for? PYC's Oxford links coming to the fore. What was the name of the subsidiary or JV again? Phenomica? Something like that.

His comments follow a report that Australia is days away from signing a deal with Oxford University to produce its "promising" vaccine.

I just got a feeling. Something big is coming. If you were a polly with your state in lockdown with tensions at boiling point, wouldn't you be hamming this up? Instead, its being downplayed with no details being let out on anything.

All very strange.

I wonder if BLTs ddRNAi is involved.

Despite the pleadings, (or was it instructions?) of Jacinda, on a beautiful winters day, everybody decided to get out and enjoy the weather, get some exercise and NOT wear a mask or exercise caution with social distancing. Except for about 10-20% of the people I saw.

The message is, not many of us are listening to Jacinda. Too many of us don't believe the message. The momentum of FUD has gone.

Next is the hammer. They have an agenda to get through and they will use all tools at their disposal to drive it home.

New cases being reported at schools and universities in the Auckland region. Others are outstide. Urgency on port workers. The case is being built. Wage subsidies and mortgage holidays extended in anticipation.

Just watch. Level Four coming with curfews. Downloading an app for personal monitoring will become mandatory. Just wait until that software falls into the hands of the corporate bosses or even just bosses. And you thought punching a time clock or having GPS on the company car was bad.

Does this look like a company that is going to come back from the brink? I don't think so. If Perry is actually selling out, you can be sure the eyes have picked out of this thing by all the hangers on that have been leeching off this thing since its inception.

Remember, the formation of this from assets spun out of the old Fletcher Challenge empire with Hughie leading the way. Lukie Luke at his side. God knows what its original reason for existing was. I can't remember. But if there was a reason it should have been achieved by now. The fact that they haven't rolled Arborgen into the head holding company indicates there is pain ahead for shareholders. No legal recourse to the assets of the subsidiary. Then there was the sneaky private partnerhsip with possible undisclosed conflicts of interests. None of which instills a shareholder with confidence. Then there is Junior. How that guy instills confidence to anyone is beyond me. The son of one of Lukie Lukes old drinking buds. There was the undisclosed amalgamation of the forest holdings a while back. And so on and so on.

If ever there was a Rubicon to be crossed, I fear this one got washed away in its current.

Autumn just around the corner in the US. Thats when things often drop. In biotech, nearly always the market making news of major transactions occur in September or October.

MRNAs Covid trial news is due any day now.

If CSL were to buy Merck, then CSL would get the Merck share of Moderna and Moderna would get all the combined revenues of CSL and Merck and all biotech IP and pipelines.
Could be a match made in heaven. Wonder what PFE and ALNY think of that.

Another twelve days in Lockdown Level Three for Auckland. Meanwhile, urgency has been requested by top doc Bloomfield for testing in all ports in the country.

What does he know that makes this urgent?

Just watch. Hammer coming down. It will be Level Four soon, mandatory masks, curfews and Melbourne lite. End of next week is my guess.

And doesn't the G know it. Wage subsidies and mortgage deferrals to be extended.

True or not I don't know, but apparently Bill Gates was in the country either this or last week. Bet he can't wait to get out of quarantine.

So the seller must Perry according to the SSH notice today. BUT, that is only if he isn't playing swapsies again. Anyone remember the debacle with the attempted GPG takeover?

Perry was off the register then back on overnight. He'd used a swap instrument to vacate the registry without vacating it.

I'd read a report he's liquidated all his funds. Guess he must be hanging on to ARB for a reason.

Good for some.

Could be the MSB news out overnight that it was warming up for.

Remember when the CEO of BLT dumped out on BLT? First stop afterwards was MSB.
Is MSB delivering BLT ddRNA?

Some serious volume for this thing went through just after four. Then nothing.

Someone pressing it down to make that all time double bottom low.
If the technical mark has been made its can only go in one direction now.

News coming!

You know the drill. Your throat feels scratchy, you start sneezing and coughing, and pretty soon you're in the grip of a nasty cold. To add insult to injury, all that big-time misery is from a tiny invader -- a living thing called a virus.

And it's not just one you need to dodge. There are more than 200 that can lay you low.

It's likely that someday you'll have a close encounter with one of these types:

A common cold is caused by a corona virus. Symptoms of Covid 19 are the same as a common cold. So when you go and get tested for a corona virus called Covid 19 because you feel like you might have a cold which might be because of Covid 19, and that cold is because of a corona virus but not Covid 19, what do you think the test might show?
So suddenly in the middle of winter, testing gets ramped up and now we have all these positive carriers in the community.

Goodness me. What a surprise.

The momentum of FUD is dissipating. Watch for the hammer come down.

Total con. Pure politics. The powers of the PMs office need to be curtailed.

Not hard to see this shooting through to 20c according to this chart. Hope its on something material and not a consolidation only.

Note how the last candle has opened up in the body whereas on the last one I posted it was just a cross. A cross indicates a change of direction is imminent as the market makes its mind up about what to do. The fact the body of the candle has opened up suggests the market is liking it. But the stock market wouldn't be the stock market if it were all so predictable. A minutes look at the fundamentals and you soon realize this company is a bit of a joke.

Ghislaine Maxwell this era's Heidi Fleiss? Anyone remember her?

This time its another level up but the concept is the same. Blackmail of the rich and powerful through lewdness.

Trump wants that same leverage to politicize it.

Covid hogging the headlines tonight.

Two things standing out from my observations.

One, increased testing. Two, increased use of the app keeps us all safe.

Big Mumma G is making its move with a bit of Jacindas fairy dust. Increased testing is of course going to yield more positives. Just like Trump says. But how do we know what the test tests to yield a positive?

Stronger push for uptake of the app. Message is stay safe, keep those around you safe, download the app. How on earth is an app going to deter a virus?

How about respect the concept of personal space, wash your hands and stay home when unwell?

So the notice of the "proposed" issue of securities in July to the Asian middleman, have they been issued?
No subsequent notice of issuance and everything in that notice is couched with the word "proposed".
Lots of things get proposed but don't come into fruition.

On the 6th of August, nominations for directors closed. That was a week ago. So far, there is no word on who they are or when the AGM will be held so they can be voted in.

Last year, the AGM was held in late September. No notice was given to the NZX. Nor were nominations for directors called for.

Definitely, there is something different about the lead in to this AGM from all others.

Notice for which must be given in accordance with the Constitution of the company. Usually that is two weeks. Statute requires six. That makes the 19th of this month the earliest we will hear anything. But the Constitution trumps that. Which makes 16th of Sept. the latest.

I am guessing we will finally get details of the years in gestation deal they have alluded to so often in time for the AGM.

Thank God for that. This thing is an eyesore.

A meeting is scheduled today for a Perth based company with a US east coast based CEO.

Poor guy is going to have to be up in the middle of the night to talk his crap. It won't be a video call because then we'd all get to see his dining room and kitchen.

What a farce. 3bn shares on issue! Where's the consolidation?

I, along with many many others, am definitely anti rule by decree. This is a failing of the political structure in providing checks and balances. In fact, it was Jacinda who said she originally decided to go into lockdown the first time on the advice of her friends overseas. Whatever that means. And there's the failing. She is intellectually captured by other parties.

I want to know who her Rasputin is.

There will be another Level 4 after Friday along with a curfew I expect.

How on earth does a person in Invercargill have exposure risk to a household in Auckland? Especially when there's a 98% recovery rate.

This is not about public safety. It is about government trialing new powers granted to it by the Public Health Act. It's the next best thing to putting martial law into effect.
