I was thinking more about the nurse who refused..
I was being a little flippant about that.
But with the roll out of the vaccine in the UK the medical staff have shown no reservations ...

I am in the UK at the moment...Most English are disappointed that the press is making them out to be racist because it is about the immigration.
It is more about the amount of money that is leaving the UK. Through contributions to the EU, through foreign workers working in the UK and sending
their wages back to their home country, through babies being born in the Uk and then the parent going home and still getting child benefits.
Also being told by the EU what they are allowed to import by the tariffs that are placed.

Farage has quit to get his life back.
Can only think that he has quit when the hard stuff has come about and that if it all goes bad then he can say
that it wasn't his fault. If he is a leader he should have stayed to try and get the UK the best deal.

Could give some good trades. It is only a referendum..If the vote is out it still has to go through the parliament where it might be vetoed.
Then it has to go through the EU where it will be a transition that will be negotiated with deals happening on every front to see what they have
to pay to get out.....this could take about 2-3 years...play the volatility.

My 2 cents worth. Been away for a while but back following.

The laurel Gas formations has been estimated at 47 TCF gas and 1.2 billion barrels of condensate over all the permit which is the yulleroo and the Valhalla. It seems to me that the initial target will be the yulleroo as it is closer to the NW highway and hence the construction of the gas pipeline down to join the Dampier gas pieline. Gas has been in all 4 yulleroo wells over a 1600 metre section. It is conventional gas and not coal seam gas but does need stimulation to get a better flow. But it is over 2km deep so not affecting any water reservoirs
Yulleroo on its own has more than 6.6 TCF and 160 million barrels of condensate.Yulleroo 3 found some conventional reservoir gas at 3200m deep which may have decent flow rates without stimulation. They did not flow test at the time.Yulleroo 2 had a trial stimulation back in 2010. Was not conclusive as they had trouble with high pressure zones but only flowed it at 0.3millcf per day.
The plan is to build a pipeline from Yulleroo to Dampier with a target of 200TJ/day. With the oil price where it is I don't put too much value there. It seems to me that OPEC is putting the squeeze on the US shale oil producers. Just working out Who's the Boss.
Anyway I don't see too much happening till April next year when they get the first frac happening. But if you have long term viewthen now could be a time to start accumulating.
That's my 2c

My 2cents worth.

Buru has been punished for lack of action. Native title has taken forever to sort out. But they are just starting to get it all together or though it has come too late for this season. Ungani oil wells are now producing more oil than ever per day. Cash Flow..not huge but cash is cash. Better than getting it from the punters..

The next 6 months may not be too exciting as they drill a couple of oil wells and an appraisal well but it may give you a good entry for next year when they get to the tight gas testing...40 TCF plus condensate...Buru's share ...Yulleroo has already flowed at 1.6mmcfd.....Valhalla had gas intercepts over 1500m in total..with fraccing this could be huge.

Sure it will probably drop a bit more...68c looks a good level to get to this week...I do think that between now and xmas there will be a good buying opportunity for next year when the high impact work starts...Could be good...

Pretty quiet on this thread...Have any of the TON holders had a look at this graphite play.

Interested to hear any views at all as I am not really up to date with graphite.

From what I can see they are really pushing ahead to become a producer to fund exploration

Gday Arty, If you get bored do you would you be kind enough to have another look at this one and let me know what you think.

Today's drill report reads OK considering they have had a few problems and I guess the punters were wanting more.

Seems to have found support around 15. ( which is double the placement price )

cheers

Gday Optionsman..Buru is not just about the ungani oil. The laurel tight gas formation has potentially 47 TCF of gas and 1.1 billion barrels of condensate...small problem is testing the formation as it needs fraccing and they need the approvals in place before they can proceed...Hopefully testing by the end of May....probably be closer to july I reckon.

If it is a forced sale they may not get as much as they hope..

Gday Prakash....the SPP Buru is doing is only to raise $5 mill....so that is only 3 million more shares. What can happen sometimes is that existing holders sell off some shares and then get them back in the placement and pocket the difference. In the event of over
subscription it will be scaled back so they may not get all their shares they are applying for.

The main thing Buru needs to do is to get back to work. They have had trouble with access due to native title but now with that possibly sorted they need to start drilling again. I believe they have potential but need to prove up a resource.

Finally, a Golf Joke I Haven't Heard Before

Jim decided to tie the knot with his long time girlfriend.

One evening, after the honeymoon, he was cleaning his golf shoes.
His wife was standing there watching him.

After a long period of silence she finally speaks. "Honey, I've been thinking, now that we
are married I think it's time you quit golfing. Maybe you should sell your golf clubs."

Jim gets this horrified look on his face.

She says, "Darling, what's wrong?"

”There for a minute you were sounding like my ex-wife.”

"Ex wife!" she screams, "I didn't know you were married before!"

”I wasn't!“

Dear friends

There are less than 5
months until election day when the people
will decide who will be the next prime minister of Australia .
The person elected will be the prime minister of all Australians,
not just the Liberals or Labor. It's time that we all need to come together,
Liberals and Laborites alike, in a bi-partisan effort for Australia .
If you will support Tony Abbot, please drive with your headlights
ON during the day.
If you support Julia Gillard, please drive with your headlights
OFF at night.
Together, we can make it happen.

Thank you!

I think Buru is worth a dabble. Stock is drifting at the moment as we await the drilling programme for 2013.If they are going to make the most of the weather then they would want to start soon. They did hint earlier that there were going to be 5 wells this year but that may have changed.Yulleroo and Valhalla are quite big puddles of gas....

Hi Bochman.....my thinking behind the short on yen was that the recent stimulus is probably priced in now and a pullback could be on offer...It had 3 cracks at 91 and pulled back....When it dropped to 90.40 the night before I thought you beauty and left it to run.Woke up the next day to see it back at entry..hmmm......Maybe 94 is the next target...

Around here at 90.75 or even better if you can sell it at 91

Gday Arty and mistagear....I enjoy your posts....I would like you to keep an eye on Buru..I have been a follower for a few years now and I think they are just about to have their day in the sun...They do have quite a lot happening over the next 5 months...Disappointing that we did not get to flow test the ungani north well...they found some additional oil there that was underneath the existing oil field that is flowing nearby.at around 500 bls / day...on cleanup...

I believe the current share price is almost supported by the ungani oil field alone...then they have the yulleroo wet gas that they are now going to do a step out well and also the valhalla gas field that is quite large and could get bigger yet...They have been recently touted by JPM as a possible takeover target in 2013..

Soon to be drilling the cyrenne well that is possibly around 5 million barrels..

Have fun boys

I agree with you Barra.....If one is looking at that time frame then you would put some under the bed and
forget about them because that could take a long while....This native title has been going quite a while now
and it looks like it is headed for arbitration so it could take a lot longer yet...

I like the oil aspect because it would give instant assets and near term cash flow...

I am in as well.......It looks like the rig wont get there to test the well till May
so there needs to be some resting in between....No targets as such

Real test is if they can get oil to the surface.......If it flows an is deemed a discovery then
it is up to Buru if they want to buy back in to the permit and then OBL would have the funding
to go and drill another well.....OBL have to have a discovery or drill another well by OCT or
the permit goes back to Buru....

Reckon they have about 40 mill barrels....Could be good....If it flows

Interesting that OBL have delayed the testing of the Backreef well this morning....
We know that they were looking for a farmin partner to help with it as the last SPP did not raise enough
funds for it...

They are blaming the early onset of the wet season...but the last paragraph of the ann. says that they have stopped
discussions with third party regarding the farmout...hmm

Is it possible that with the results of the Buru well and being on the opposite side of the valley and of similar geology
that they are going to try for a better farmin deal than what they were facing...or maybe just wait for the news to settle
and then try and raise more money so they can go it alone......

Anyone else follow these and willing to share their thoughts

cheers

They are a bit keen reporting on the wheat crop from W.A.

The stuff hasn't even come out of the ground yet and we are in for a record harvest...Wish the bank manager
thought the same..

I think this bit from Gerry Harvey probably says it best for all of us

Retail veteran Gerry Harvey has labelled the Rudd government "bloody amateurs" for the way it has handled its proposed resource super profits tax (RSPT).

The executive chairman of Harvey Norman said he was not personally opposed to mining tax reform, but was critical of the federal government's presentation of its proposed new tax regime.

"Probably it does make some sense," Mr Harvey told an Australian National Retailers Association function in Sydney.

"But you know, with how they presented it, the timing, you just think these blokes are bloody amateurs.

"You would expect them to put a bit more thought into it because it has just blown up in their face.

"They might have the right story but they just haven't told us the right way."

Gday Kelt,

Good to se you are enjoying yourself..Your shorts just came good and my longs just got hammered.
China has increased the reserve ratio for their banks and the commodities got smacked. I had a couple of stops in
that saved some pain...Good learning curve..
Thanks for your charts
Very much appreciated....The charts change very quickly..Gonna have to learn to adapt a bit quicker..

Cheers

This is from the presentation on 27/11/09....could be getting approvals in place to drill

The Torrens project located near Olympic Dam in South Australia is recognised as one of the most

prospective large Iron Oxide Copper-Gold targets in Australia and internationally.

In October 2007, after nine years of negotiation, Argonaut and its Joint Venture partner, Straits

Resources, gained access to the tenement for the purpose of drilling deep diamond core holes into

target zones based on modelled geophysics. An initial three holes were drilled prior to access being

revolved.

In recent months a new, amalgamated Native Title claim – the Kokatha Uwankara claim – has been

registered, thus providing the Joint Venture with a clearly defined party for continued negotiations.

Recently a meeting was held with the new Kokatha Uwankara management committee in Port Augusta.

The Joint Venture was given a firm commitment from the group that discussions in relation to the

Torrens project will be progressed.

In addition, the Joint Venture held a number of meetings with the South Australian State Government

to resolve the access issue in order to recommence drilling operations. During these meetings the Joint

Venture was given a firm undertaking and commitment that this matter is likely to be resolved within

the next three to six months.

The Joint Venture has identified seven high priority targets at Torrens and is aiming to gain approval to

drill multiple holes into each.

The access delays to date have been long and unfortunate but the Joint Venture is becoming

increasingly optimistic that the exploration program will recommence.

Straits Resources Ltd. has the right to earn a 70% interest in the project, pursuant to the terms of the

Joint Venture, by spending $7 million on exploration. Argonaut currently holds 100%.

Good morning Kelt, With regards the wheat chart do you see a possible head and shoulders? Maybe a target of 475
Or are you sticking with your quick trade?
Thanks...
