Green reckons he hit it as well . Shouldn't have been a problem ........ he took 60 balls to go from 185 to 197, so he really only has himself to blame for not getting his 200 sooner.

Cheers

Feel for Cameron Green .......... out LBW on 197. Don't get all that many chances for a double century in first class cricket.

Cheers

Must be,
Paine got an unbeaten century.
Though SA were dismissed for under 200 on first day.
After that, it must have become a little easier to bat on.

NZ women out for 93 in just 27 overs. Slaughter. And done without Lanning and Perry.

Rachel Haynes must be spewing to fall short again. 14 50s and just one century in ODis.

96 is agonizingly close. On another forum someone said she's more like Joe Root than Joe Root when it comes to not converting 50s to hundreds.
21 on the trot is quite something.

OZ womens ODI team about to equal the record of most consecutive ODI games, currently held by Ricky Pontings team.
To lose from this position having set NZ the mamoth task of scoring326 to win, which will be the highest chase ever by a long way and with NZ already 5 down in first 20 overs, it would be a stunning upset if they were to lose from here.
Well done ladies, and not a whinge amongst the lot of them.

That was a tense finish and great come back by Carey and Maxwell. Nice to see Starc start with 2 quick wickets and then hit the victory runs when it looked like we'd choked a certain victory.
Maxwell is now the player that faced the least number of balls to score 3000 ODI runs. 123 strike rate.

I actually enjoy it more when we fluke a win against the poms rather than when we win comprehensively. Even though they are such arrogant buggers their sense of fair play means that they will accept with grace a good thrashing which means we in turn must be humble in victory. But in truth they should have won that game but for a no ball, a dropped chance and Starc topping the tailing the contest the way he did. So, how sweet it is! rolleyes.gif

I see Steve Smith was not playing. It would terrible if we lose him permanently to concussion.

And once again, OZ cricketers make fools of us.
After having the POMS 2/0 off Starcs first two balls, then 4/94, they let em get away to 307.
But then to the amazement of almost everyone, Carey and Maxwell rack up the highest 5 wicket partnerships in ODI's, with both getting centuries.
Stoinis, 4, Marsh 2.
I suppose it doesn't matter whether you win with down or 9 down, the win is the important thing.
