The turnover is pretty feeble, however PPX is now around 6.0 cents. The Hybrids (PXUPA which I hold) are also up a little. Reckon there may be some slightly less depressing news in the future.

Yep,an interesting proposition.PPX still has a T.O. of well in excess of $1 billion p.a.A turnaround would be spectacular....would be..would be.

If I understand correctly they lowered their debt by $50m last year so another similar sized drop will knock the stuffing out of the gearing. There are issues to sort out when it comes to the structure of the company but if they can eke out a margin from the revenues across all borders then it is stupid cheap.....IF....

Hope you are correct about a turnaround.Holding many PXUPA......as I believe I may have posted about (that doesn't sound like grammar) in the past. Was one of those who provided the numbers for Graham C and his campaign to protect the Hybrid holders rights.Graham was a gem of a bloke who died tragically during that fight.....fell down some stairs and suffered a brain haemorrhage.Suppose none of this is relevant ,but if interested it's all on record ' over the road'.

They are financially precarious but if they stop the bleed in Europe and post a decent result from Australasia to retire more debt like last year they will look pretty sexy.

Time will tell.

A little clarification:been looking into PPX a little more. The Company is much more exposed to the Euro and Sterling than the USD.The AUD looks to be at least holding its own against these currencies,so PPX probably won't get a free ride on the currency front.

As an aside, the Dollar Index (DXY) went for a run last night and is now above Resistance so further rises would be the way to bet.
