They're in a Trading Halt, pending an announcement of some fund raising.

All going to plan, they'll probably resume trading tomorrow.

Anyone got any ideas about what's happening with Silver Mines Ltd (SVL)?

I'm staying with my SVL shares - I believe they will rise in the hopefully not too distant future. Sold my SAR at a small but worthwhile profit. Am now holding some Beach Energy ( BPT ).

SVL has been range-bound for many months now, offering not much apart from a few swing trades.
From that, I'm still holding a fair position that will come in handy if the sp manages to break out of the highlighted range.

I bought gold shares (SAR) and silver (SVL). Gold is up a little on what I paid and silver is down on what I paid. If I sold both I would break even. Then what would I put my money into ? Guess I will just wait and see if the pundits are correct in their predictions.

Thank you very much for that. My lunch time look nearly had me jumping in - maybe too late?

Thanks for Ayn chart which I am benefitting from.

no problem, Malfrey

First the weekly chart - needless to say I'm long again:

On the Daily - the time frame I use to determine gaps - there are no gaps overhead, but a couple under the last two candles.
While I never dismiss such gaps completely, they can, for the time being, be considered break-away gaps and may remain open for months. Just like I did some years ago in CVN's case, I will however keep them on my chart for target consideration as soon as a significant turn from an uptrend is indicated.

Applying my usual Fibonacci Study, today may already have hit a first target (200% of the double bottom extrapolation).
While I'm in no way panicking - I won't even start to sell a trading position yet - resistance could be strong enough to cause a quick gap closure before we move higher.

Arty,
could I impose on our on-line chart supplier for a chart of SVL showing any gaps or targets to attain please? Similar to the AYN one of recent days.
Thank you.
