Also Id prefer they were receiving these bonuses rather than them losing cause it would mean they are actually doing something?!?! At the moment it seems like they are treading water waiting for something to swallow them. If they arent then what are they actually doing...

It was so obvious what was going on with LH it was almost laughable.

Do a google search of CUV shares or Clinuvel and see what pops up - this site.

This thread has almost 10 million views.

Its the number 1 place to get information and informed discussions on this company.

His posts completely changed in their structure over the last couple of weeks.

I just hope they paid him well for the use of his profile.

Nice post, are you done yet?

Scenesse, approved. Any other drug being competition has been discussed enough, now you're just regurgitating the same stuff. Move on, if you're no longer long or in control of your own account then I suggest you move on and let us discuss the company we have invested in.

Saying this is the final phase of the business hardly screams long term growth, Im still firmly in the take over camp. I just hope the share price improves so we get a fair price.

While I agree there is a bit of whinging here of late some of it is justified and well intentioned criticism. Pw has delivered on fda approval but failed to deliver almost everything else discussed to date.

We stay in cause the potential of the drug is huge. Pw has a long way to prove himself as an A League CEO yet. But admit his opportunity has been presented, I hope you're right.

Just been reading about this while having a coffee this morning. Am I reading right that if you hold the share each night that is when you get charged the 7% (not sure if that's the correct number or just an example in their pds) and the 7% relates back to the strike price which on the A level is $23.54?

RE the stop loss price of $27.00, if that was executed your loss is the difference between what CITI closes out your shares at, (say an avg of $26.80) less the 7%pa fee for everyday held? So if you held for say 20days and the price drops to $27 the loss would be whatever the close out price is plus $0.09 per unit held? So lets say a close out of $26.80 for every $1000 invested you would lose $492.80 ( $2.99 + $0.09 per unit)

Is that right? or do you lose you're whole investment?

Please understand I have no information one way or another. I'm just putting a hypothetical situation out there. I am not sure of how such a situation could play out.

Like all here I want to maximise my investment and I don't believe a takeover would hit the level this company could achieve so I am hoping more than ever that this isn't the case but I can't help but wonder why it was included in the performance package when they have been adamant in the past it wouldn't be on the table.

How does it work if PW is somehow involved in a company that offered a take-over? He gets paid his performance right regardless if that happens so potential win - win for him.

A few have mentioned here they would prefer not to have to answer to us minions. What if that's the angle they are going for?

Again after this agm and with the movements leading up to it I have had the feeling that a takeover is imminent so I'm glad others are starting to agree and it isn't just me being paranoid.

I can't help but feel this is setting up for a takeover more than ever.

Keeping the distribution in house, keeping all the cards close and what appears to be an extremely undervalued share price.

Looks an easy target if the "people that matter" want it to happen.

I hope it doesn't happen but I have this sick feeling in my stomach it's coming.

Im sure over the past 12 months whenever we have seen these block trades after hours they have lined up with a massive short the following day. I just figured that was what we were seeing, is someone receiving a block of shares to short. Maybe it's a shorter returning their shares?

Yeah i know, i do a bit of research into general competitors to anyone I invest in, i just have a feeling the government want to move away from opioids in general which steers me away from them. It's obviously a much better option than those products currently on the market though!

Nectar is an opioid still isn't it? Msb is stem cell therapy. One injection was showing signs of improvement up to 3 years. It interested me as I believe the push will be to move away from opioids if they can

Im not disagreeing with you at all, they are missing out.

My point was if these people have that thought then I am guessing thousands of other everyday investors are also. Shorters will short anything they can, instos invest on market cap. The everyday person is the one who we are missing out on at this level. Those are the ones who would see $3.20 and think about it hitting $10 But not understand that with 50mill shares we can and likely will go to $100 from $32.

I'm not sure shorters care if a share is worth $30 or $3. I'm also not sure any institutions investing care either. The only people who I see that would care is the everyday Joe wanting to invest $20k or $30k of their savings. I have no idea what size that % of the market is but I can guarantee you 100% of the people I talk to who have that money to invest see the share as too expensive. I disagree but can understand their mindset

The "expensive" mindset is why I have mentioned a share split a few times. I've got friends and family who refuse to buy in based on the fact they have missed the boat and cant even see the possibility of a doubling in share price. Yet I guarantee if we were at 500 million and share price $3 There would be a whole new level of people willing to invest.

I've also bought into MSB about 6 months ago just under $1.50, i think they have some interesting products at late stage in their pipeline and could have huge markets if/when they get through fda approval. I can see similar trends with cuv to msb, both went to ~$10 a share before retreating to $1. The issue when i first bought into MSB was were they going to get to market of go broke first. Now they have a partner for one of their products helping pay the bills and they have $70 mill extra in the bank from the latest cap raise. If they get favourable phase 3 trial data over the next 6 month's the price could jump significantly. I am very reluctant to expect anything to happen re fdain any hurry after being involved with this company for so long. The only thing I can see that may fast track the approval is that their product that treats chronic lower back pain could help eliminate some need for opiods which is obviously a massive issue in the world and specifically in the usa at the moment.

If there is any truth to the post re share price being surpressed to ensure it doesn't pass the performance bonus levels then we will all have a bit longer yet to top up. Regardless, anything under $40 is a bargain with the information available now.

When are you guys going to realise this is basically the number one location for info on this company on the net.

Posting negative shit about insider trading, the company going bust cause the share price is dropping. How does that look when someone does a google search and stumbles across the comments.

We all want it to go north, i can promise you that it will not be in a straight line but if management execute well we are heading a long way up.

alot of the management of vitiligo seems to be topical and steroids.

Without any knowledge into the science behind it, I would think that the treatment regime would involve a number of implants to begin with which would then go into a maintenance period using a topical.

But this is purely guesswork and obviously each person and their condition will require slightly different treatment to achieve the best results for them.

How would the company go belly up? While the shareprice is a reflection of a successful company, how do you come to the conclusion that it could anyway bankrupt it? Shorters can drive a price down but they cannot influence how succesful a company is.

Money in the bank will drive them away, so let's start making 100s of millions and eventually billions and the shareprice will reflect it. Until then unless youre planning to sell just laugh at the games.

back up to 20% shorted on friday.

I think the reason has more to do with the % of shares tied up in long term share holders and insiders who just wont sell. it leaves a very small % of the shares to be traded so when the shorters borrow the shares and put them on the market it creates a whole lot of sell pressure which shouldn't be there and can't really be hidden in the volume being traded.

I might be completely wrong but at the end of the day to me it is just a numbers game and the shorters are using that in their favor.

Ive been doing some research on vitiligo and other skin conditions the last few days since approval. Wow there is room for growth.

Poly I think you're spot on with those estimates and with the unknown potential of vitiligo and even just plain old uv protection for the masses the revenue could have another 0 behind it....scary and exciting.

A takeover really wouldn't surprise but Im pretty confident it would have to start at $100 for it to be accepted, which in reality for the potential of the drug and the fact it is approved in the USA, $5 billion for a big company might be a bargain.

I was thinking that the asx had a massive short squeeze, that was the cause of the price going to 45. Im not saying it shouldn't be at 45 or it isn't worth 45 but maybe we would have taken a bit of time to get there rather than going there in 1 day.

Be interesting to see what happens today.

you know in the movies when their is a fight scene and it ends with the guy on top with a knife forcing it down into the persons chest while the other person struggles to keep it away. the person on top always goes "ssshhhhhhhhh" as they bury the knife into their chest.

The shorters are on the bottom today and we're burying the knife into their chest.

The drugs that have been given approval today have all shown up in the last hour or so. Which means we can all get a good night sleep just need to set an early alarm...

But your basing it on information that you haven't even checked.

Go look at the date they announced the delay and compare that to the date of our ATH share price.

If you start there and read some of the info people have posted here you might find the chance of insider trading is very slim.

I believe a lot of it had to do with the asx200 inclusion as the price rise came after the delay was announced didn't it?

At the time I thought it would be a great time to exit and re buy as it 100% seemed to be a rise based on nothing other than the inclusion.

I never expected the price to be sitting where it is today. $30 seemed a good number especially based on the previous financial years results.

Edit to add -
Delay was announced 3/6/19 Price : $31
ASX200 inclusion announced 14/06 Price - $34
ASX200 inclusion 24/06, Price Peaked Friday 21st at $39

I've actually been considering that the shorter's are completely controlling the trading of these shares. With it held so tightly by LTH's and the shorters bringing basically 3 000 000 extra shares into the market, they can trade between themselves to push the price down and swallow any actual share holders selling in the meantime. Lets be honest the LTH's can only "top up" so many times before they run out of money. I would suggest these shorter's have bought and sold that many times that they can survive a pretty big bump from approval and not lose their house.

In saying that I would also expect when the approval does come through the shorts will close their position and leave us alone to an extent. But right now with no one wanting to sell before approval they are the only ones buying and selling at this point.

A few people have already covered this but it is highly likely there is absolutely no correlation between the shorting and the upcoming approval date.

Compare these two graphs....they are basically identical.

The only good thing I see about the current share price is that it makes holding through approval day easier. When it was $39 there was so much more to lose. Now at $23 (still can't believe we are back there) there is so much more to gain than lose. Something is going on, scare tactics or whatnot. I just hope when we get approval there is a lot of people caught off guard and we get an explosion in share price.

Good luck everyone and have a good weekend.

Agreed. I was spewing last night thinking they had got out of it without having any effect on actual buy pressure. That's around a weeks worth of volume. Looking forward to the day they do have to buy back.

Really can't break anything. Nothing has really actually been achieved by the company in the past month but the share price has hit all time high after all time high. Imagine what will happen when they get a decision that will actually make them money.

Thanks so they allow you to hold more than 85%? The platform I am currently using allows any % but is a horrible interface and doesnt allow you to actually use it as a trading platform. Ill check it out! Thanks

this was my major concern when I saw that volume yesterday.

I know it all looks really positive but why would someone short so much of this stock.

Yeah when the demand is there obviously the price will keep rising, maybe the constant shorting is actually keeping a lid on the price a bit at the moment still?

I also assumed that there would be a chunk of the trading where shorters are selling to shorters closing out.

Vicious cycle for them it would seem.

Interesting watching it move to that level then continually get knocked back down.

Yeah no worries I thought that might be the case.

For those of us looking to hold on for a while yet it changes nothing really except potentially gives us the opportunity to buy more at a lower price than what is on the horizon.

What benefit to the company would we see from inclusion in the ASX200? Apart from a potentially higher share price initially. Does the company get any benefit from the inclusion?

$22.24 was the low, from a previous close of $29.98...

Ive also had a small interest since the epitan days. But after heavily investing now that scared the fck out of me and you're right, for what appears to be no reason?

While the explanations given here rest the nerves a bit I am counting the days to FDA approval..

Current price seems very unstable...jumping around all over the place. I think its best I stop looking, playing the long game and all that...doesn't really affect whats going on with the company unless there is some underlying bad news behind it all.

A friend pointed out the first paragraph of the newsletter reads as if they are overworked and struggling, hopefully there wasn't a massive mistake made..

I've just done some numbers on the other funds you mentioned. I'm not sure their weighting is the same as Vanguard.

If you look at the shares with similar MC as CUV on the portfolios of those ETFs then I would expect to see the following:

iShares Core S&P/ASX 200 ETF (IOZ): - ~32000 shares
SPDR S&P/ASX 200 Fund (STW): - ~82000 shares
BetaShares FTSE RAFI Australia 200 ETF (QOZ): - ~6000 shares

Unless I am reading those wrong, I would much prefer to see the demand for 500k shares from these funds than ~120k..

That's a fair question.

The simple answer is to take a chance. I bought in from advice off friends back in the Epitan days and their explanation of the drug at the time was an exciting prospect (assume thats why most people bought in?).

Then 18 years later to look back in again and see the share price rising rapidly made me ask why? I read this forum a lot and would then go investigate what is said here to make sure its not (mostly) someones opinion vs fact.

I took basically 2/3 of my super and dumped it into this company with the knowledge that I'm 35, I have potentially 30 working years left, the same as my partner. We are just reaching a salary level that means we can recoup any loss now over the next 30 years so I thought I would take a gamble in the hope that I could potentially setup both mine and my partners future which I would never see from letting my money sit in a managed fund.

OK great so no change in reality.

I thought I read a while back someone said our shares from the ASX would be transferred to the Nasdaq automatically which would be fine for my shares I own personally but gets confusing for the shares in super which aren't as flexible.

Can someone please explain the Nasdaq listing and what it might mean for shares held in a super account that doesn't allow trading on the nasdaq, ie only shares I can invest in is Australian shares inside the Asx300?

Long time lurker around here. First knew of these shares back in 2000 when a heap of my workmates made some money off it going from 18c to $1. My mum gave me $1000 for my 18th with instructions to buy shares so I bought 1000 of these shares and forgot about them.

Mid last year I checked in on them and found the price back to where I originally purchased and after reading on here decided to buy some more. Also now dumped 3/4 of my super on them but as is always the case, a 2 week delay in transferring my super across to an account I could control cost me a few $ in the share price.

Thanks heaps to all the regular posters for their info, especially now where the price is heading.

Im obviously no where near as invested as you guys are but with a few hundred shares in a personal account (ie not in super) I have discussed with my girlfriend to see where it's at in 5 years and sell the shares I bought for my 18th to fund a trip to vegas for my 40th.

Fingers crossed we are flying Business and staying in a suite!

Thanks again
