Agreed 100%, am wondering however if it's SP is already fully valued, ie are all these results factored in to todays SP of $2.05?

All depends on the POG.

Admedus, the early stage biotechnology company that counts mining magnate Andrew ‘Twiggy’ Forrest as a cornerstone investor, has passed an important milestone with its regenerative tissue treatment for heart defects receiving approval to be sold in the United States.

The company has previously received approval in Europe for its CardioCel product and on Monday announced that it had received clearance from the US regulator, the Food and Drug Administration.

CardioCel is a collagen cardiovascular scaffold used to repair paediatric and adult heart deformities. The scaffold supports native cell infiltration, growth and differentiation and which promotes a regenerative healing process.

Admedus chief executive Lee Rodne said the product is “an important addition” to a cardiac surgeon’s range of treatment options.

Admedus shares have gained 540 per cent over the past year and closed at 16¢ on Friday. Mr Forrest owns 14.4 per cent of the company, which has a market value of about $200 million.

The company said it would pursue market approvals in Asia throughout 2014-15.

“Admedus is looking forward to an exciting 2014-15 as we launch CardioCel globally and continue to grow our sales revenue and cardiovascular teams in these regions,” Mr Rodne said in a statement.

''Allied expects approval for CardioCel®, which is a tissue generated patch used for cardiac repair, from the USFDA in mid-2014. Given the market potential of cardiac repair, FDA approval should be a major catalyst for AHZ. ''

FDA approval released earlier than anticipated. Very positive. 18c perhaps now abase before the next leg!

Extract from Proactive Investors

Lance Projects

The Lance Uranium Projects are envisaged as producing 2.2 million pounds of U3O8 per annum with an NPV of US$323 million and a capital expenditure of US$114 million to reach steady state production.

A recent Wellfield Optimisation Study has also highlighted a 6% increase in NPV to US$323 million, a 12.5% reduction in capital expenditure to steady state production to US$114 million and a 12% drop in steady state operating cost to US$30.65 per lb U3O8. IRR has been estimated at 38%.

This supports its commercial viability at the current long term contract price of US$56/lb and ranks Lance amongst the lowest cost producers.

The first production unit will be at Ross with a capacity of up to 1.25 million pounds per annum followed by Kendrick, ramping up over several years to a steady state 2.3 million pounds per annum.

It is expected to be cashflow positive from Year 3 with payback within 4.6 years.

Analysis

Peninsula Energy continues to step closer towards starting uranium production from the Ross Permit Area in the second half of 2014, a key milestone for the company.

The progress on the site works positions the company well to fast track construction of the central processing plant and other infrastructure once the final Source Material Licence is received.

From the Bull

Patrys Ltd (PAB) is an Australian based company with research and development operations in Germany. Like the first three companies in our table, the company has no debt and the stock price surged on positive news.

Patrys is developing a completely new form of cancer treatment, derived from natural human antibodies. The company has seven products in various stages of clinical trials, with two in discovery, one in pre-clinical testing, one in Phase 1 Trials and two in Phase 2A.

On 6 November the company announced the USFDA had awarded “orphan drug“ designation for one of Patry’s cancer treatments. Orphan drug status is granted to promising treatments for unmet needs with incentives to assist in development. Incentives include scientific assistance and possible funding grants as well as seven years of exclusive marketing rights should the treatment receive full FDA approval.

On 8 November the company announced it had received a US patent for another of its treatments and on 11 November Patrys announced a partnership arrangement for a clinical study with Onyx Pharmaceuticals, a subsidiary of US based Amgen (NASDAQ:AMGN), one of the world’s leading biotechnology companies.

From the Bull Weekly

At the beginning of the trading year Allied Health Group (AHZ) could be snapped up for 2 cents. At its current price of 17 cents per share it is approaching ten bagger status. Nervous investors might fear the stock has run too far too fast. An analyst at CIMB Securities disagrees; with an Outperform rating, this analyst predicts a share price run should the company get European regulatory approval for its CardioCel® heart treatment. The recommendation from CIMB came back in April 2013 and the company got the approval at the end of October; it is now selling CardioCel® in Europe.

Allied is a diversified company born of the marriage between the privately held Allied Medical, part of the Andrew Forrest empire, and bioMD (BOD). The new company began trading as AHZ in June 2011 and has a threefold business focus, investing in new medical technologies, acquiring companies, and expanding existing marketing and distribution channels. Attracting investor attention were the lead products from two of the company’s acquisitions – the tissue engineering company Celxcel is responsible for CardioCel® – and Coridon where work on vaccine technology based on DNA is underway. Allied expects approval for CardioCel®, which is a tissue generated patch used for cardiac repair, from the USFDA in mid-2014. Given the market potential of cardiac repair, FDA approval should be a major catalyst for AHZ.

Independence MD Bonwick resigns
The West Australian
November 15, 2013, 1:40 pm

Chris Bonwick has resigned as the managing director of Independence Group because of ill health.

Mr Bonwick took leave for health reasons in the middle of last month but had been expected to return to the company.

Mr Bonwick's 13-year tenure with Independence spanned the company's founding, its listing on the ASX, the acquisition and restart of the Long Nickel mine, the discovery of the Tropicana gold project deposits and the takeover of Jabiru Metals.

Non-executive chairman Peter Bilbe said Mr Bonwick had been integral to Independence's success from a small explorer to a multi-mine producer.

Independence said Brett Hartmann, the company's group operations manager, would remain as acting chief executive and would continue to assume the duties and responsibilities of managing director while the board considered options for a permanent appointment.

Mr Bilbe would also continue to maintain an active involvement in the day-to-day management of the company.

Independence shares were placed in a trading halt this morning ahead of the announcement and last changed hands for $3.42.

The heavily oversubscribed placement raising $47.5 million is a strong show of confidence in Silver Lake Resources' production profile and in the current gold price environment and volatile markets.

The participation by Silver Lake directors in the offering, subject to shareholder approval, is an endorsement of the future prospects of the company.

Post the offering Silver Lake will have a strengthened balance sheet which will provide it with financial and operational flexibility moving forward.

Very happy with this..............Nifty

Australian Prime Minister, Julia Gillard, walked into a branch of the Commonwealth Bank to cash a cheque. Approaching the cashier she said "Good morning, could you please cash this cheque for me?" The clerk replies "It would be my pleasure, mam. Could I see your ID please?"

Julia said "Well I didn't bring my ID with me as I didn't think there was any need to. I am Julia Gillard you know - the Prime Minister!"

Clerk: "I'm sorry, but with all the regulations, monitoring of the banks because of imposters, fraud, forgers and the like, I must insist on proof of identity". Julia: "Just ask anyone here at the bank who I am and they will tell you. Everybody knows me!"

Clerk: "I am very sorry Madam Prime Minister. These are the bank rules and I must follow them". Julia: "And I need this cheque cashed!!"

Clerk: "Perhaps there's another way. One day Greg Norman came into the bank without ID. To prove he was Greg Norman he pulled out his putter and made a beautiful putt across the bank into a cup. With that shot we knew him to be Greg Norman and cashed his cheque".

"Another time, Shane Warne came in without ID. He pulled out a cricket ball and bowled a fabulous spinner kick where the ball landed in my coffee mug. With that spectacular bowl we cashed his cheque. So mam, what can you do to prove that it is you, and only you, the Prime Minister?"

Julia stood there thinking. Finally she says "Honestly, I can't think of a single thing I'm good at".

Clerk: "Will that be $50 notes or $100 notes, Prime Minister?"

RCR company update:

IMX Resources Limited (ASX:IXR), October 2012

Summary:

The recently released Preliminary Economic Assessment for IMX's Ntaka Hill Nickel Sulphide Project in Tanzania (now progressing to a full feasibility study) highlights this as a quality project that could be producing high grade 'clean' nickel-copper concentrates by the second half of 2015. The valuation of this project, complemented by current iron ore production generating modest cashflow, and excellent exploration potential in Tanzania and Australia, underpins our A$0.33-A$0.41/share corporate valuation. The current share price (A$0.135) is a 63% discount to our midrange A$0.37/share valuation. Our six-month target is A$0.22/share.

CASHED-UP oil and gas producer Drillsearch Energy has moved to expand by making a $118 million takeover offer for fellow Cooper Basin explorer Acer Energy.

Both companies own oil assets in the Western Cooper Basin in South Australia, along with other conventional and unconventional prospective oil and gas assets in the region.

Acer also has assets in the Bass Strait and onshore in NSW.

Drillsearch has offered 25.5 cents for each Acer share, well above 19.5 cents, which was Acer's closing price on Wednesday.

Drillsearch has already gained the support of Acer's major shareholder Republic Investment Management, which has sold a 19.9 per cent stake to Drillsearch and will sell its remaining 18.8 per cent stake if no superior offer is made.

"The takeover offer for Acer is aimed at consolidating Drillsearch's position in the western Cooper Basin," Drillsearch managing director Brad Lingo said in a statement.

"Post-acquisition, Drillsearch will hold the largest discovered, uncommitted conventional gas resource in the Cooper Basin outside of the Cooper Basin joint venture partners."

Drillsearch posted a full year net profit of $10 million in August and completed a $50 million capital raising in July, and has $93 million in cash.

Drillsearch is a co-operator of producing liquid gas assets in the Cooper Basin.[/font]

Acer Energy advised shareholders to take no action in what it called an opportunistic bid, as Acer embarked on an extensive work program.

Acer shares closed up nearly 36 per cent at 26.5 cents, while Drillsearch gave up three cents to close at $1.55.

Organised takeover thru SPP? Big end of town dumped a few to reduce SP below $1.20.

Therefore

Us minions didn't take up the offer, and

They were able to gain a substantial foothold.

Still, I well happily take $1.70 and move on!

Interesting? So soon on the heals of a CR in January?

Maybe not a SPP this time?

A 13% rise on a crap market day--extraordinary performance.

I agree wholeheartedly. Plenty of volume and plenty $$$$'s. Touched 98.

Investors rather than traders at work!

Farmer Fred

There were some substantial buys today. Bit of a stampede. The story is getting out!

Very nice close @ 87.5.

Plenty of interest so more to come?

Thanks Tuapui

I liked this bit...

Conclusion

There is an old saying that the market abhors a vacuum and all gaps will be filled. While this may have some merit for common and exhaustion gaps, holding positions waiting for breakout or runaway gaps to be filled can be devastating to your portfolio. Likewise, waiting to get on-board a trend by waiting for prices to fill a gap can cause you to miss the big move. Gaps are a significant technical development in price action and chart analysis, and should not be ignored. Japanese candlestick analysis is filled with patterns that rely on gaps to fulfill their objectives.

Placement @ 60 to raise $18 million.

Spending the money already on more acreage!

Happy holding long term.

Mining analysts and brokers will be on the lookout for some new potty-mouthed terms today, when the executive chairman of Cudeco, Wayne McCrae, makes his first roadshow to Sydney since his infamous presentation five years ago where he described his main copper deposit as being as good as ''a dog with two dicks''.
In one of the most memorable addresses in the history of the Sydney Mining Club, McCrae also noted how some stockbrokers did not have ''testicles bigger than the size of ants''.
The Cudeco founder will tour the offices of several brokers over the next two days, including Bell Potter and Citi.

One wonders if McCrae will be more bullish about his company this time around.
''This has the potential to be one of the richest copper mines on the globe. I know that's a big statement,'' McCrae said during his previous visit to Sydney.

Sell side being stacked to stop the sp rising by the looks of it.

Why would this be?

Disappointed to read SPP has been scaled back 50% of those who participated.

Good news is the unfilled demand!

What a terrific response by MAD in relation to the Speeding Ticket!

Sums up succinctly why everyone is buying and more importantly not selling!

This ann just adds more fuel to the fire!

Remember Round 3. Forget the other.

I start Seniors Pennant (Old Farts) next week.

I will stay with BUL especially after WCL activity.

The signs were there, increasing SP and release of an investor presentation!

Will be interesting to see at what price the raising is issued!

In Hind Sight 48 was more than reasonable! Touched 70 this morning.

MAD has had an unbelievable run, but there is depth to this Company, so more to come?

Happy holding!

Very quiet here recently!

Topped up last week @ .069. Thought it was nearing the bottom?

Investor presentation out today. Market impressed? Touched .080.

One for the patient?
