BLT down 1.4% in the UK. Rio down .3% Metals flat, oil just down a tad. Looks like profit taking at the top. I'm short both. XJO will have a hard time rallying without those two

evening all.

a couple of quick trades early this morning that went well. unfortunately, no time to ride all the fun waves today with all the kids at home.

at the moment, i'm having much better luck with intraday trades than position plays. of late, the driving force behind certain shares don't make a lot of sense to me with many of the majors being range bound. is this what is described as "distribution" that can happen before markets tank?

and yes, i have an account with cmc that i use for the indices. i also have another account with macquarie for shares and prefer it over cmc as i like to see how they trade in the real market trades....particularly on intraday trades.

Pending home sales and factory orders tonight at 10pm Perth time. Both should be down. US only open 1/2 day tonight and closed tomorrow for 4th of July. I'm expecting the dow to be flat to down. Futures now up 40 pts. EB Special time

I've got both CMC and IG Sugar. IG runs closer to the actual market, but I prefer the CMC program and layout. Costs on both are about the same. If you sign up online with IG, you can be up and running in about a day. CMC takes a bit longer (about a week) I've had the odd run-in with CMC, but they have always come good in the end.

From memory, EB, Crow, Jaolsa and myself use CMC. KB, Aus, Pengo use IG

QUOTE (sugarman @ Tuesday 03/07/07 05:43pm)

I'm with IG Markets, can't complain.

The mini deposit requirement is $350 per contract, with the standard asx200 cfd requiring 1750$ per contract.

The mini pays $5 per point per contract, with the standard cfd paying $25 per point per contract.
