In Reply To: apache123's post @ May 16 2008, 07:00 PM scorcher/others: Wonder how Mr. Oliver Lennox-King feels about today's announcement by GOP ?!! Luckily, I have only a really tiny holding that now is becoming worthless... Really poor form by GOP to not try to raise funds and finally get a project going, like for instance their good grounds in KENYA. Disappointing, to say the least. wasa |

Thanks Scorcher, So chances are this fellow will likely ask for a seat on the board. His background is mostly mining and has mixed results as a director. Cheers A -------------------- Buyer beware: Do your own research before investing....

Bulk of last weeks placement went to a Canadian investor, or 13M out of the 15M shares placed.
He now has almost 9% of GOP. Will he be a passive investor or looking at building up his stake? -------------------- Buyer beware: Do your own research before investing....

apache123/others: Is this stock dying or what ?? A recent substantial purchase by one of the Directors is showing that at least this guy is thinking that there is a future for GOP! Any comments welcome. (I have a tiny holding). wasa |

http://www.theage.com.au/news/Business/BHP...4766542159.html Wonder how this would affect GOPs relationship with BHPs Falcon technology (assuming it does go ahead)? -------------------- Buyer beware: Do your own research before investing....

Looks like the northern tip of Madagascar may have similar hydrocarbon features to that of Somalia (see RRS).

I totally agree, it surprised me that they were so sloppy yesterday in releasing such info as up until now they appear to have been well mgt and reasonably informative, either that or they have done a great job hood winking us all. |

scorcher The Business Review 2007 presentation had a 'penny dreadful' feel about it and not the professional feel I would have expected of an upcoming oiler. I put the sell off down to lack of positive announcements from GOP prior to end of qtr eg no Jamaica farm out details and also there does not appear to be any upcoming spuds till mid 2008 at earliest according to the Business Review 2007 presentation schedule. -------------------- Buyer beware: Do your own research before investing....
