Like you say Stoker, forget this one now, its day in the sun is long gone and mismanaged.

It may be worth a review at some time in the future but more likely as a back door listing for some entirely new scenario.

If Ken doesnt remove himself from his post, someone should relieve him of his duties.
What a disgrace

That reads like Neon's bill is 22m plus interest having also lost the Blocks!. Surely some buyout deal would have been better way to exit. Now we have given lost the Block's under the JOA and still owe the cash. Hopeless.
Also sold the only cash producing assets they had. Long haul back now. Bottom drawer. Move on.
Leaves with some cash. Probably trading at cash backing now.

Bam, I imagine there is value in the leases but it appears Eni have got sick of the negotiations and are now playing the heavy hand. It could be an easy way for Eni to pick up a greater share of the leases. Conversely the jv may also be about to write the leases off and Eni want to make sure they get what is owed to them before the jv turns to dust.

Either way the Eni/Neon relationship is at least compromised.

So much for a near "free carry" on the drilling!

Kris are still keen on the leases arent they? perhaps they will assist NEN? or is the j/v scrapped after the payments made to ENI?

Some lucky punters got out at 2.7 this morning.
