First commercial agreement signed with Optus - hope its the catalyst for further similar announcements - some details would no doubt kick the SP along and encourage further interest

ahhh a series of these will lead to a bankable feasability study.

AstroVision gets first commercial contract, with Optus
10:47, Friday, 9 December 2005

Sydney - Friday - December 9: (RWE Aust Business News) - Horizon
Global Ltd (ASX:HZG) has its first commercial contract for 51pc
subsidiary AstroVision Aust Ltd with Optus Mobile.
It will provide Optus with content from AstroVision's Earth
observation satellite, which is to be launched in 2008.
"As our first agreement with a mobile phone operator for the
delivery of satellite data and content, this is a very exciting
development for us and our parent company Horizon Global Ltd,"
AstroVision managing director Michael Hewins said.
He said given the substantial global connections and capabilities
of Optus to deliver 3G content to 3G mobile phones it would be a great
distribution partner for real time local weather video content.
Horizon Global shares were up 2c to 16c.

24c close with bidders stepping up.

nearly double the capital raising and not that much stock being shaken free. what price will convince those that stumped up to keep the company and its vision afloat to let a few go??

With "Major Project Facilitation" approval and backing from the Australian Government this could be the impetus needed for customers to sign on the dotted line. Teaming Ageements etc are all ok but getting the customers on board is now the crucial link in seeing the project really take-off. Those in charge at Astovision/Horizon tho' seem to be making the right moves in the right direction. Let's hope it continues!
