Finally some movement in SP yesterday, with a little more volume.

For those wondering why volumes are so small in NGF - it is due to the fact that only 25% of its shares are available. NGF is 75% owned by a Hong Kong Mining company.

BBY Brokers have a valuation of 21c on NGF and is one of their preferred gold stocks. Assumptions are $1300/oz and AUD/USD=0.9.

Not a lot of volume in this one normally so this could move quickly if and when it does. They say that at a gold price of $US1350/oz the valuation increases to 27c. This therefore presents very good leverage to a rising gold price.

"We're not vulnerable from a takeover perspective, because we've got quite a few other shareholders who came in at much higher levels than what the (share) price is now, so we've got some protection in the short term."

price was .175 at the time would be nice to see the old high of 66 ??

it says a 3 party bring on the boxing gloves ????

Happy days smile.gif . Looks like someone agrees with my assessment of deep value here. Zijin as a 17% holder would be my first guess.

Post from last week

Holding quite a few of these as my only gold play. biggrin.gif

Any guesses as to likely price? Am I dreaming with 40c????

The trading halt is necessary as Norton anticipates making an announcement

to the market regarding the receipt of an unsolicited approach from a third

party regarding a control transaction (Approach).
