Thanks for the reminder, wren smile.gif
Once the June-August resistance had become support (see chart) I should have been buying - but missed it at the time too. Let's see if it retests the 100% level. I'd probably place a bid around $4.32

Where all these mining companies that are making super profits. Every day there is a new mining company having to go to the market to raise funds with their share price at low levels. While it might be rosy for Rio, BHP most of them are only getting bye or slowly falling prey to the rising costs of employees, energy (power and fuel), the high A$ and lower relative commodity prices. If things were so good they would be able to get cash from the banks but they are not happy with the risks so are going back to shareholders. Soon nthe trough will be empty. jeeves

Good to see more gold showing up at Tropicana nifty, long may it continue.
Unfortunately nickel letting us down at the moment. Dec quarter will be poor with the A$ PON well down on the previous quarter so far. The only solace is that others will be hurting more with IGO a relatively low cost producer. Zinc still looks awful.

Cheers

Starting to look a little better isnt it Nifty.
Hopefully we've got the JML integration behind us now. I wasn't a big fan of the price paid but I do like the diversification it provides. The thought of a major seismic event at Long used to give me nightmares.
Interesting that some contrarians are starting to talk up the prospects for zinc too with a projected supply shortage kicking in in 2013. Maybe JML will prove to be astroke of genius yet!
Should be a decent quarter going on the lead of WSA.
Cheers
