I believe the highest close ever was $1.23 April 13th 2007. Given the 10:1 consolidation, that makes it $12.30. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think we're at the highest price ever, pre or post consolidation.

Me too, Royco. I've told countless people about it. I used to tell anyone who would listen. Some seemed interested. One friend sighed as I tried to tell him, so I shut up. I had only one person listen to me and buy some stock. Guess what, she's in the black and happy. I eventually decided never again will I share my thoughts about a stock with friends and family. I'm really happy to have ShareScene, it's nice to hear from other people who believe in this great product.

I look at it this way now. Most people didn't want to hear my advice in the first place. Now that the stock is doing well and if they were to find out how much money I've made so far, they wouldn't be happy. Let's say they had bought the stock and it goes down in the future, they definitely wouldn't be happy with me. For my one friend who did listen to me, she's happy with me but I'm not getting a share of the profits. (I don't expect or want any)

Big risk, little reward with sharing investing ideas.

I can't chastise you for trying a black market product because even thought I never did, I seriously thought about it.

Very true. I can't wait until further information about CUV9900, VLRX001 and Chiverè.

You make good points. I'm sure the FDA does have their concerns and is trying to keep the public safe. I'm just frustrated by the slow pace of progress, as I'm sure many are. I feel they are being too cautious.

I've been watching this product since I first heard about the University of Arizona discovery and have been eagerly awaiting it's release. At first I just wanted to use the product as I'm very light skinned and live in Arizona. Eventually I invested in the company.

I was in college when I first learned of this product, which was almost 30 years ago. My life is passing by, at least half over, and I still can't use this product. I can't imagine anything that would work better for me. Even after approval for EPP in the US I still won't be able to use it. I feel like this miracle product is out there and I'm being denied it's use. It is so frustrating.

Of course I use sunblock and try and avoid the sun, but nothing works better than pigment! Also, even if I was using Scenesse, I would still use sunblock.

The side effects of Afamelanotide tend to be mild, not much more than the placebo. I know what the side effects of the sun are, I've experienced it many times. No matter how diligent one tries to be with sunblock, if you're as light skinned as I am and live in Arizona, you're going to get burned at some point.

I don't know who the FDA thinks they're protecting by making it so dang hard for people to have access to this miracle medication, but I'm sure there are a lot of people suffering because of the lack of access to it.

Of course we have Solar Urticaria, EPP, Vitiligo, HHD, Actinic Keratosis, an adjuct with photo dynamic therapy. These are some of the indications that the company has considered and it has tested some. But how about others, like Psoriasis. How about it's anti-inflammatory properties. I see so many articles about afamelanotide.

Of course not all will pan out, but it is exciting.

Published paper on Afamelanotide's affect on HHD.

It blows my mind how well our product treats this terrible disease and how long it's taking to gain approval for EPP because the regulatory agencies are afraid people will use it off label. If I had HHD I'd be trying to like crazy to get it off label after it's approved. There are so many indications for our drug, I know it's going to be a blockbuster eventually, the hardest thing to have is patience. I wish I had a list of everything this medication can do. In my opinion it's a miracle drug.

Royco posted this a couple of years ago, I think it's time for a re-post. It's a petition to make June 25 Vitiligo day.

The company's in the black and I'm in the black with this stock.
I wish things would progress faster, but I'm patient and I'm very optimistic about this company's future. If I wasn't, I could take my profits and run, I'm guessing many others here could too. I also think PW has done a great job, it's against the odds to get a new drug to market. To do it without being in debt is even better.
I want all the information I can get, but I feel that PW holds his cards close to his chest and that's probably the wise play.

I've noticed most days recently the share price will often be up throughout the day, bouncing up and down a little, then right before close, big drop off. My guess is that someone is manipulating the stock price to pick up cheap shares. I'm long on this stock, so it doesn't bother me too much. Of course, I'd like to see the stock higher right now, but I'm patient. It just tells me that someone out there knows that the stock is undervalued and is trying to buy shares at this cheap price before it explodes.

I thought it'd be fun to go back to the old posts when this topic was created and read some of the early posts. It seems that X-Ray is our most senior, still active poster. Here's been posting since December 2003.

StF
BERNE - It took only two appeals to the Federal Court to put an end to the question of who will pay the drug Scenesse to a woman resident in Ticino who suffers from a rare skin disease - protoporphyria eritropoieica (EPP) - that causes burns , erythema and edema in the areas exposed to the sun.

The underlying problem is the huge increase in the course of 2015, the cost of the drug determined by the manufacturer, Clinuvel Pharmaceutical. Medication which is apparently the only one on the market able to successfully treat the disease that afflicts women. To be clear: between 2012 and 2015 CSS (the old woman's insurance) reimbursed the 6,560 francs per dose, to be taken 4 to 5 times a year. Then, the rising price. Now a dose costs 18,989 francs (24,772 are from 2019), three times as much. CSS informed the woman that she would not, however, changed its reimbursement, and in November 2016 he would indeed reduced by 20%; Decision also maintained by Intras at the rate of health insurance.

On 21 September 2016, the Cantonal Court of insurance in the canton of Ticino ruled in favor of the woman and sentenced Intras to cover the cost of the drug entirely, but both have appealed to the Federal Court, the woman because the coverage was for four doses, while Dr. that was treating him had prescribed five; insurance because he wanted to annul the decision.

The Federal Court, in its decision of May 9, announced today, however, has sent the file to the Cantonal Court, to redo the procedure on a new basis. While considered that the drug is approved for the treatment of EPP by a State (Germany) with equivalent approval system and that the drug generally very high therapeutic utility, the other complained that this case reports on the patient's state of health from the doctor who has treated were too skimpy and not sufficient to determine the positive impact of the drug in a woman's life (the doctor said that the first doses of the Scenesse patient was forced to live in the dark, and that thanks to the medication he could even take up employment). The Mon Repos judges also questioned the five annual doses prescribed by the doctor, when the dose of the drug (which is not approved in Switzerland by Swissmedic, but it is in Europe) says there are enough four.

It will be up to the Cantonal Court therefore order a new appraisal judicial physician to shed more light on the woman and later health status, get to a new judgment can determine whether the cost / benefits of the drug or not there is. Meanwhile, both sides will have to pay 500 francs for legal costs and Intras 2800 to women in respect of recoverable.

I appreciate the offer of a cigar from The Near Future. I have a couple questions.
Are you really sending someone a cigar if they win, or are you just saying that for fun? It's okay either way with me, I'm just curious, but I wouldn't mind a free cigar.
Does the winner have to guess the amount exactly, or is it whomever guesses the closest?
My guess is $8.99
Thanks
