Looking with keen anticipation for next week. Can't see the reason for the sudden drop today given the lower drift since April. Why get out now?

There is certainly some fluctuation in CBA today jarm. Hit 3160.0.....then bottomed @ 3096.0..... & I missed the lot....tch tch, bu..uut, hopefully its on the rise again, now @ 3108.0. Exdiv next Monday 16th.

Surprisingly strong result from the CBA. Wonder whether the others banks do as well, particularly ANZ? Share price looks like it will sustainably increase perhaps 5% especially as the large sum spent on advertising was claimed in full.

The current run on the stock due to the putative overvaluation of their funds arm is not surprising given their history of breathtaking innumeracy from tellers up.

You often see the heads of smaller groups outperforming head office. They are not buried under bureaucratic procedures to the same extent and can see the perspective. I think of the CBA management more in terms of a large public service organisation. Progress is almost anathema due to organisational inertia. I'll probably feel better tomorrow!

Familiarity breeds contempt, along with a sudden decline in value over the last 3-4 months. There are more reliable trading stocks than the banks for day-to-day income opportunities as well as more exciting.

THE KING says funny how NO body has commented on CBA,.. here in NZ its all the GO with there bank ASB and has some of the best TV add ever seen..
