Which makes it doubly curious when you see AMGN and ALNY footprints being left in the PYC mud. Not ever have I seen a shareholder do well when either of those parties have showed up looking for a party. Could easily be tears at the end of this one.

When ARWR gets bought out signalling the start of M&A season in biotech, bet you anything you like, PYC gets bought out too.

Does anyone remember the curious coincidence of Enumerate just bumping into OMD outside Auckland University and having a stand up conversation in the street about PYC and all that entails? Then there was the other curious observation of the Auckland Cancer Society Research Centre being bank rolled by Novartis who just happen to be one of the main players in ARWR after dumping on ALNY. That's the same ARWR who like to extoll to the world the advantage they have over everyone else in their endosome escape hatch technology. Which just so happens to be the same space PYC applied for patent protection in. Wouldn't be surprised to find ARWR using PYC's patent for endosome escape. Not that PYC will ever tell you that.

But the banger is when ARWR put the kaibosch on all of their trials except one. The only one, worldwide, that got the greenlight to continue was based in Auckland under the aegis of Auckland University and Auckland Hospital. The same outfit OMD and Enumerate are involved with. What are the chances of that?

Hayes bails. On Xmas Eve. As if it wasn't known beforehand. Sneeky buggers aren't they? Untrustworthy and deceitful as well. Why would you put your money with them?

The good news though, is I think that was the last mouthful for Mr. Creosote. Time to tuck in behind the pot plants.

The behaviour of this stock would suggest its in a quasi trading halt already. Just waiting for Mr. Creosote to take his last mouthful.

Even the sycophants have gone quiet. A clue if ever there was one.

The HC sycophants are cheering their team on as if they are in injury time with a one goal lead. And they aren't even in the clinic yet. Never will be either by the way.

Sale coming. Just a question of how much they were able to steal away from the bagholders with the rights issues.

Thanks for the copy and paste slayer. You forget to reference the heavy water analagy. That makes PYC the encore. Not the main act.

Board changes eh. Now Junior gets to sit next to Dad at the dining table.

Does anyone seriously believe Hockings and the new kid on the block are there for any other reason than to make a fast buck?

Watch this space. Commercialization is code for sell this pig for as much as we can get because we are out of our depth on this one. Sale price if in line with foreign sales, will be in the $350-500m range.

Don't forget the market makers have to put a signal out to the market that biotech has arrived. The best way to do that is to have a sensation of sorts. A sensation like, unbelievable returns on an undervalued and ignored biotech like PYC. A sensation like from $66m to $350-500m. A sensation like 500-800% overnight.

It puts the cat amongst the pigeons and brings up the rest of the sector overnight as the scabs all go hunting for the next undervalued gem.

Enumerate always did say PYC would be the first to go.

This is what one wonk on HC says. Hans it up as something great. That's why he falls in to the sycophant category.

We know ALNY have a footprint in PYC. ALNY, back in the day wrote these types of contra options with BLT. BLT never recovered. It's been gutted and kicked around a dozen times over since.

This is the future for PYC. The minute they have something, it will be snatched away.

Heres one comment I found which is so relevant to PYC its not funny. Might explain why that chart looks like its about to fall off a cliff.

$TSRO - FADE the rumor. Remember, in biotech, strategic assets get acquired. Companies do get bought out, but they NEVER sell themselves. "Exploring a sale" is a sign of desperation, not a position of strength.

If these guys are in negotiations to sell then they'd better take the pennies option because that chart looks like they are about to be naked shorted into oblivion.
