CUV is first and best in class. Look at Tesla. It trades at more than double what traditional fundamentals suggest. Plus, I don't agree that CUV is trading above P/E for the circumstance of a first in class pharmaceutical. In other words, we are not even close to Tesla style over pricing. 65 right now would be overpriced pre approval. 130 in 24-36 months won't be.

Hi Klomp

Did you read the Sphene Capital Research Report about Cuv, last Update as of March 2019? Maybe it helps you to understand the potential of the additional indications Clinuvel is working on. For EPP alone the price target was around 32 aud ..

I'm interested to know how investors on this forum see value for CUV. We are close to $30 / share which is obviously a whopping multiple on current earnings.

My take:
Annual EPS is circa low 20c at the moment on early stage European approval. We expect this to grow as reimbursement matures.
If US gets approval, we can double EPS.
Perhaps when EPP is mature across Europe and the US, it might get to $1 EPS. On its own, with no other indications, EPP might justify a share price on its own of $20 / share.

Then we have upside for new indications and a broadening of its use. This is monumentally difficult to value at this stage. I'd love to hear if anybody has a decent logical way of assessing the value of this.

I bought in to Avita (AVMXY) today. Been thinking about it for several months. I wish I had been more deliberative.

I totally agree with you.! This could be a breakthrough technology! AVH also wants to focus on cell and gene therapy. So they can modify skin cells, e.g. to enhance collagen production which is the ultimate skin rejuvenation.

Exactly, currently you can do skin grafting, but imagine if you could just "spray on new skin"? This seems like a crazy good medtech breakthrough. They're focused on burn patients right now.

Maybe this technology can be used to treat feet and hands of vitiligo patients that generally don't response well to afamelanotide?!

I love their recell technology. Theoretically you could replace your skin in any area you're having a problem.
