700,000 (excluding the 5 mill XTSP) a reasonable amount for CVI, but if O puss related it could bounce well when done? -------------------- |

Wasn't too much of a dump....some lucky punters got a bargin or two..... Under 70c is a bargin if you have a longer term view imo.....Although it may take a while to climb back up there..... |

Well if it can hold its ground above 70c today then its done well Leaky,...as long as world markets don't try bungee jumping with out the rubber thingo

Looks like we may be back above the 70c line ...hopefully turns into support. Someone wanted a few today & nice finish at 75c. Wonder if there's some more nwes on the way soonish........ |

Seemed to take a couple of days for Mr Market to digest the half yearly, but share price has woken up a bit the last couple of days with price back to previous resistance at 72c

Well, I thought the half yearly was acceptable & good to see a return to dividends albeit a little shy of the 55% level previously cited. Hopefully 2nd half dividend should compensate. 2nd half will have a bit of a drag from Chicago ramping up to full capacity & maybe still a bit of drag from Vic Meretec but looks like 2nd half should be a lot stronger for CMV. with acquisitions, TPI & remedial division all starting to come in strongly. (Think there was a once off payment to NZ company for performance in 1st half?) Not the most exciting stock round but looks safe as houses from here on in & < 70c looks very cheap given scrap prices & Meretec plants coming on line...not to mention Green appeal. |

Yeah mate.....All goodly stuff. Meretec works & works well....Just got to build the plants. Its not like peoples don't want the product....& CMV can do it in a semi environmentally friendly way. (Better than raping the land anyways). We may hear more about Meretec expansion plans shortly. Chicago right next door to industrial belt of USA & wouldn't be surprised to see another plant pop up in Australia at some stage. 08/09 should be exceptional year for CMV....& hopefully doing well in the current year as well. |
