But its school holidays atm. Nothing ever happens during school holidays!

NZ Finance Minister has alleged China is behind some cyber attacks committed in NZ.
This must be one them. It's very important right before a major deal is announced to cut off social media connectivity to avoid leaks and unwanted market activity.

Hours, later CNBC, Bloomberg and others are reporting that the plan might include a carbon border tax, essentially a tariff that would apply to "carbon-intensive" imports. The plan would punish countries with weaker climate policies.

On June 21, nominations for directors were closed off. Then they announce a takeover bid occurred but didn't divulge details. Instead Junior says they will conduct a strategic review. In the meantime, Dimon n Co. have been pulling their Harry Houdini tricks. Fair to surmise the takeover party is Dimon n Co.

AGM notice is not forthcoming. But as far as director nominations are concerned, the AGM cannot be held sooner than two months after the closing date for director nominations and no later than three months.

That means the earliest, we can expect the MBO motion is early September due to the two week notice provision.

So, settle in and watch the Olympics because not much is going to happen in the meantime.

From the NZ Companies Act. Target month is September at the latest. Most likely August. Just like the HK dairy company I follow said it would be.

Company's constitution probably requires a two week notice period.

No AGM notice yet. Nearly two weeks late compared to last year.

Will shareholders be asked to vote on the MBO as part of the "strategic review"? Dad's holding won't be able to be voted since they will be a related party.

The longer it goes on for, the more it looks like trouble at mill.

If anyone thinks the delays in the Novavax vaccine is due to anything else other than negotiations, most likely the North Atlantic FTA, they are deluding themselves.

To that end, it makes me wince when I think of all these people willingly lining up to take part in the greatest experimental drug trial ever conducted.
Those that can remember Benitec and Nucleonics will recall the outrage when the young boy, whose name I forget, died when injected with some of BLT's experimental serum. It set back RNAi drug development twenty years. And now, here we are twenty years later, undergoing worldwide experiments on different companies' drugs the same way BLT, Nucleonics did to the boy. Yet, there is still no commercial outcome in terms of licencing or M&A. Now, why is that?

But just to remind my old bile spewing mate 'loops, it's Independence Day this weekend. And if nothing happens in time for that, then you know the Americans aren't in control of the situation. After Independence Day we go into summer vacation time. Nothing ever happens during northern summer time.

Wouldn't be at all surprised if we see a return of Mr. Perry. Pulling the same tricks he did when Gibbs and Brierley were on the register with GPG.
The margin bit might explain the price appreciation.

QUOTE
Rehypothecation happens if a customer leaves a number of securities with a broker as a deposit, most often in a margin account, and the broker then uses the securities as a pledge for the margin on his own margin account or as backing for a loan.

From the announcement. Wouldn't mind betting its the limited partner trust that involved Tenon and some people may've had a conflict of interest at the time.

We have movement. JP Morgan makes a reappearance, as does Citibank along side that word rehypothecation and a strategic review is underway. Do you think that might include a MBO?

So much for the twin company strategy where all the shareholders are locked out of any legal entitlement of the subsidiary.

We await the AGM documents. Maybe then we will see how badly shareholders are going to be stiffed.

Here are the details on the loan forgiveness. It is a timely policy setting it would seem.
Guess that means we can expect a similar announcement soon about the second loan.

QUOTE
2 March 2021
ArborGen Holdings announced today that its wholly owned subsidiary in the US,
ArborGen Inc., has received approval and funding from the Small Business
Administration (SBA) under the CARES Act Paycheck Protection Program (PPP)
for a second loan in the amount of US$1.95 million. The funds are to be used
to fund payroll costs including benefits and other business related costs due
to the uncertainties caused by COVID-19.

The SBA will forgive loans if all employees are kept on the payroll for eight
weeks and the money is used for payroll costs, rent, mortgage interest, or
utilities payments over the 8 weeks after receiving the loan. At least 60% of
the forgiven amount must have been used for payroll costs which includes
employee salaries, hourly wages, sick or medical leave, and group health
insurance premiums.

As announced previously, ArborGen applied for a PPP loan early last year,
subsequently receiving $2.335 million in May 2020. This funding allowed
ArborGen to retain all employees and avoid any lay-offs during a period of
significant uncertainty. ArborGen applied for forgiveness of this first PPP
loan in accordance with the guidelines late last year. While this forgiveness
application is still being processed, ArborGen believes it has provided the
documents necessary to support the full forgiveness of the loan.

Audited annual results due in a week or less

Two working days.

If on time, expect nothing. If a NZX waiver is granted, claiming more time needed because of whatever, then the MBO is close. Very close. I would not be surprised at all to see this because the NZX is a little boys club and this is the Hughie and Luke Show.

Another signal something is about to go down is yesterdays announcement about their government sourced loan being forgiven. Not repaid. Just wiped off the books by the swish of a pen. I don't know what is happening with these loans in general as a policy but if this forgiveness was specific to Arborgen rather than standard policy then there in lies a clue something is about to go down because it removes a very powerful creditor off the books.

It's a happy hunting ground for some. Have to ask why none of these companies wish to list on the NZX for growth capital. Something very wrong in the structural make up is my answer. The best NZX can offer up is a online grocer and a used car sales and finance company. If we get the FTA with the UK over the line maybe our sheep sales will be in demand again for proper purposes.

Gotta laugh at those HC pumptards. They're hamming up ARWR as if it's the next big thing and therefore good for PYC. People forget that when their SP collapsed to a dollar something and every drug trial they had underway worldwide got scratched. All that is except for one. The one underway at Auckland University Medical School and the associated hospital.

Now why is that? Like, what's ARWR to Auckland University? AU not even in the top 100 universities of the world.

Well, I don't actually know the answer but long time readers will remember Enumatit waxing on about how he bumped into OMD in the streets around Auckland University and how forthcoming he was with information about PYC trials when PYC was saying OMD was hard at work in the bowels of their lab. Burning the midnight oil even.

It's only logical one asks, wtf?

I don't know the answer to that either, but I do know ALNY have said ARWR have nothing important. Indeed, are nothing.

With binary data due in a week or so, right before Independence Day, it's also logical to conclude that if the HC pumptards are spruiking ARWR and PYC as one then the end is nigh.

So, ask yourself punk, is the real estate guy feeling lucky?

I read somewhere that the PFE vaccine contains over 80 different patents with probably just as many patent owners. In other words, the PFE patent is not owned by PFE.

Who is clipping the ticket on these patents for the vaccine? Biontech was their partner and it was said to have been developed by them. But nobody knows who owns the patents they used.
Merck v Integra stipulated the parameters for safe harbour use until commercialization. The funny thing is, deploying the vaccine under EUA conditions probably, somehow sidesteps this decision and can therefore sidestep the royalties and other commercial issues.

Thus, no deal so far. But only two weeks to go before Independence Day.

Umm. Guys, we have a new tenement. After having a bit of a poke around with an old fire poker from home, we are absolutely confident there are massive gold deposits under the soil. If we were to dig beneath the soil, we reckon there could be some oil as well. So quick, buy the stock and bid the price up because she's gonna blow.

So it is with PAB and their science and management. The vandals got a hold of this one a long time ago. They're still pulling their tricks.

It's been my observation over a long time that when a company feels a need to tell the market things like, we got some desk space in another company's office, in other words a blah irrelevant statement, then there isn't much happening or going to happen.

To see these suspicions reinforced with long dated options at current share prices for new directors and Junior cashing out his options at same prices and all so soon after the AMGN-FPRX then you know it's game over.

I can't help but wonder why the dross report is all about a subsidiary which the ARB shareholders have no legal recourse to and thus no benefit from.

Why does Junior do this?

Volume is popping. Price is popping. Something has leaked. They must be getting ready to MBO the subsidiary and back in the new entity.

Seriously, if the NZX were on their game they would be putting out a please explain. They won't because after all, this is the Hughie 'n Luke Show, and the NZX is just a little boys club.

Price inching up. Chart looks good. Volume is anaemic.

Guess they're trying to paint a picture.

Dross report said nothing. As expected. Now we wait for the auditors to corroborate it.

Carry on. Business as usual here.

If by the Fourth of July, America declares victory over the virus while there is a resurgence in the rest of the world and a mega pharma deal goes down at the same time involving Merck and/or GSK and/or Sanofi with ALNY in the middle of it all, we will know for sure this thing was a racket from the very start. The underlying premise that Covid is a bioengineered weapon released upon an unsuspecting population the same way the A-bomb was for the same purpose. To see what it does.

Hey Mully, I sincerely hope you, your wife and daughter did not get the AZ vaccine. If you did, you may well have dodged a bullet...for now.

This poor girl did the right thing. Corporate employer demands it, employee abides, gotta pay for the mortgage and kids etc. Now she's dead.

As far as I know, Australia is still pushing the AZ vaccine.

What would you rather have, the vaccine or the disease?

Strange goings on across the board today. Big volumes and price spikes. Right at the end of May and end of reporting.

Perhaps something is about to finally go down.

Long weekend in the US. Memorial Day. I still think we will have to wait for the big one on the Fourth of July though. Five weeks for that.

At these prices BNTC could offer up the chance of a lifetime if ARWR, ALNY and others are anything to go by.

What's the bet the dross report will be all about Covid and the impact of it upon planting and harvesting.

I would like to know what they are doing about publishing or verifying engineering data on structural strengths of harvested trees.

I mean, isn't the whole purpose of growing a GE tree to change the production possibility frontier of the forestry and pulp and paper industries?

If you have a fungible product that is superior in its inherent properties and can be harvested in half the time you're going to be on a winner.

Do you think Junior will be sharing this with holders? The holders who are are legally locked out of the subsidiary where all the bizdev is being done? I don't think so.

Watch out for the MBO of the subsidiary and the backing in of some other outfit.

Aren't they trying to outlaw buybacks in US? Deemed to be an inefficient use of capital. Better to put the money into shareholders' pockets, upgrade capital or integrate something for scale and scope.

Buybacks usually allow the execs' options to be in the money come expiry with no fundamental improvement in business.

Neither Jacinda nor Bloomfield have been vaccinated.

Now, don't you wonder why not?

I do.

She has said she could not live with her conscience if she jumped the queue ahead of those more deserving in the lower socio-economic zones or front line staff. Instead she will wait until the mass roll out starts in July. However, I have also read, vaccine supplies will be critically low at the end of June and the necessary infrastructure is well behind its build schedule.

Sounds like a good excuse.

Meanwhile, the most efficacious vaccine of them all, Novavax', is denied by the regulators and authorities because of political might.

And still the AZ vaccine is produced and administered in Australia despite an increasingly overwhelming body of evidence showing harm.

Hope this is nothing to do with mully. But if the authorities were on their game, it wouldn't be anything to do with anyone.
Meanwhile, the most efficacious and safe vaccine of them all sits in limbo awaiting the green light from authorities: Novavax. You just have to wonder how much political will is overriding sound science in this game.

Most likely someone will chime in with an asinine comment along the lines of, probably just wanted the time off work or some other nonsense.

The Australian Therapeutic Goods Administration has confirmed a link between a young Queensland nurse's blood clots and the AstraZeneca vaccine.

Ellie Peacock, 18, received her first dose of the vaccine on March 31, about a week before Australia's updated advice recommended people younger than 50 not receive AstraZeneca because of concerns over clotting.

The AstraZeneca vaccine is not being administered to people in New Zealand. The Pfizer vaccine is the only vaccine being distributed currently in New Zealand.

The TGA confirmed the link with the AstraZeneca vaccine on Thursday, saying the information reported met the criteria for confirmed thrombosis with thrombocytopenia syndrome (TTS).

Closing price sitting on the 100 day MA in the middle of May just as JCC's new company is subject to a takeover and another one is underway at BLD.

Perhaps we will see one here but I have been told there will be one at CSL.

A long time ago there was a punter on a NZ share chat site who called himself Phaedrus. Over a period of time he garnered himself quite a following for his charting techniques and decisions were always spot on. He qualified his trading decisions with well reasoned logic to reinforce the point. Then all of a sudden he threw it all in. I believe he had to as it was something to do with his employment.

The point is, on HC there is a guy there calling himself Phaedrus making just as much sense in what he is saying. I normally refer to anyone on HC as a pumptard because pumping is all you get by and large. However, I wonder if this is the same Phaedrus from days of yore. Worth following if it is.

TRS is due to report shortly.

Will be interesting to see how it is still solvent and why the NZX allows such crap to stay listed.

Precedent exists for booting companies off the exchange for failure to have a recapitalization plan. One can only assume there is one here otherwise the NZX would've booted the pile of crap that is TRS off already. Would also explain why the new shareholders bought in and changed the name to ACE.

Maybe they're going to IPO the peanut butter.

Preliminary results due this month. More dross coming.

What often happens with these kind of situations is the prelim is a damp squib. Then just before the audited results are announced they announce their restructuring transaction. In this case, shareholders have no recourse into the subsidiary, which is where the biz dev has been going on, wso it gets hocked off on the cheap and the head company makes the transaction. After that the final results are announced and nobody cares.

Let's see what happens in this case.

Last years annual report states Nant as being the only shareholder with more that five percent. Execs, employees and staff own about six percent. But since the last annual we now have a bunch of new shareholders with more than five percent. Mystery men in Luxembourg and Cayman Islands and other US funds.

What is their purpose?
I don't know exactly but I would not at all be surprised if this disappeared from view altogether before being repackaged and relisted in the future. These people aren't buying in because they are charitable by nature. The only other alternative is for the share price to reach for the sky.

It is an indication the winter thaw is underway.
Perhaps we can expect a takeover at PYC. Or is this new American gang going to try and do a BLT on PYC so they can buy it for pennies? Especially now since the AMGN deal got done with PYC clone, FPRX.

These are comments from the ex-CEO of Silence Therapeutics, another gene silencing company based in England. Before they were called Silence they were called SR Pharma. They conducted trials which were a terrific failure, with Daiichi Sangyo out of Japan. We have seen much from Takeda in the gene silencing space but none from Daiichi. That the ex-CEO of Silence is saying this, perhaps he knows a little something and Daiichi is about to play their hand in unison with its partners.

Price sitting on top of the 30 day moving average. It has to either bounce off it to continue the trajectory or collapse through it to form a head and shoulders. I will go with the latter. Cap raise just been. Probably placed into the hands of shorters.

As we head into uncertainty and danger what we need is a high growth company coming to market with risk being underwritten by a partnership with government and a well known corporation for distribution of product.

In a perfect storm of economic turmoil by covid it would go mental.

Sometimes these things happen before earnings are announced. Sometimes after. Earnings season is underway now so I am picking it will be the end. Which funnily enough, and my old mate loopy will laugh himself silly at this if he can stop spewing bile everywhere, comes just in time for Fourth of July celebrations. However, my guess is early September.

It's going to be a long and tedious wait if I'm right. I'm probably wrong though because it's not like you're going to find out on a failed share chat site.

More Covid mystery. All of these vaccines are sirna therapeutics. Gene therapies basically.

How can it be then, that the greatest gene therapy company of them all is the bowhere man on covid. ALNY, the one time partner of Benitec is still to make their appearance.

Deals coming if the Novavax vaccine is based on multiple patents.

A part of me, just a little part, wonders if the Bill and Melinda Gates divorce, coming at the tail end of a pandemic, is in part caused by the fact Melinda has a conscience when it comes to unleashing a bioweapon upon the world which is responsible for untold deaths.

I am also curious to know if the hold up on the Novavax vaccine is due to discussions taking place on patent licencing. After all, GSK is already shipping product yet it still doesn't have regulatory approval to use any of it. Seems strange to me. Especially when JNJ and AZ are killing people with their product after it was rushed to market under urgency.

Here are the details of the cap. raise. Price is down again today. Lincoln Park are known shorters. Wouldn't be surprised if this falls foul of the minimum price and market cap requirements of the NASDAQ in the end.

Merck proxies crowding into PYC tells us the results of the upcoming read out are probably already known. These people wouldn't be involving themselves with a loser. What needs answering is, does good news fit with the plan or do they prefer to paint it as bad to knock the price down?

Structurally, the forestry industry is similar in NZ. Harvard, Fletcher, Farmer, Hart and other big names own huge acreage of trees in NZ and surprisingly enough there's a supply shortage here as well. I think there's an opportunity here for the Commerce Commission to make an enquiry to see if the squeeze is manufactured or if there really isn't enough trees. If the latter, that bodes incredibly well for Arborgen doesn't it?

Recently the Commission passed their cartel busting laws. The advertising campaign targeted tradesman and wholesalers. If ever there were a worthy case of possible racketeering which is what a cartel does, it is this shortage. But I suspect it will be a case of one law for the tradies and another for uber wealthy.

Approximately 250k shots administered according to this site for a team of five million. July is the kick off for carte blanche entitlement. Yet we still don't have any leadership of do as I do not what I say from the two main protagonists of Jacinda and Bloomfield.

Frankly, I don't think they are being honest with us.

NZ's vaccine being ramped up now. The leaders however, Jacinda and Bloomfield, still haven't provided any proper leadership by getting theirs.

What is it they know which prevents them from getting the Pfizer vaccine?

I have a feeling, they are happy to just wait for the Novavax one.

On April 27, 2021, Benitec Biopharma Inc. (the “Company”) entered into an amended and restated underwriting agreement (the “Underwriting Agreement”) with H.C. Wainwright & Co., LLC (the “Underwriter”), relating to the sale of 3,036,066 shares of the Company’s common stock, par value $0.0001 per share (“Common Stock”), in an upsized, firm-commitment public offering pursuant to the Company’s effective registration statement on Form S-3 (File No. 333-253259) and related prospectus and prospectus supplement, in each case filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission (the “Offering”). The public offering price is $4.25 per share, less underwriting discounts and commissions. In addition, the Company granted the Underwriter an option to purchase, for a period of 30 days from the date of the Underwriting Agreement, up to an additional 455,454 shares of Common Stock at the same public offering price.

In connection with the Offering, the Company agreed to pay the Underwriter an underwriting discount equal to 8.0% of the gross proceeds of the offering and a management fee equal to 1.0% of the gross proceeds of the offering. The Company has also agreed to pay the Underwriter (a) $50,000 for non-accountable expenses, (b) up to $100,000 for reasonable, documented fees and expenses of legal counsel and other reasonable out-of-pocket expenses and © clearing and settlement fees of $15,950.

The Company estimates that the net proceeds from the Offering will be approximately $11.3 million, or approximately $13.1 million if the Underwriter exercises in full its option to purchase additional shares of Common Stock, in each case after deducting underwriting discounts and commissions and estimated offering expenses. The Company intends to use the net proceeds from the Offering for the continued advancement of development activities for its product pipeline, general corporate purposes, and strategic growth opportunities. The Offering is expected to close on or about April 30, 2021, subject to satisfaction of customary closing conditions.

The Underwriting Agreement contains representations, warranties, indemnification and other provisions customary for transactions of this nature. The representations, warranties and covenants contained in the Underwriting Agreement were made only for purposes of such agreement and as of specific dates, were solely for the benefit of the parties to such agreement, and may be subject to limitations agreed upon by the contracting parties. Speaking of Amgen, I can recall all the HC pumptards getting themselves excited when a dude called Bioexec joined in the conversation. Obviously a knowledgeable guy. So much so, that some of the pumptards were making inferences about him being an Amgen employee. Now, all this time later, they do a deal with FPRX.

I mean, it must be just bad luck that PYC never seems to end up having anything anyone wants to buy.

Blows the theory underpinning the Phillips J curve out of the water. Everyone is talking inflation, I wouldn't mind betting on deflation with decreasing land prices leading the way.

Any adherents of free market theory are on the losing team. This tide of change is too powerful.

You would think that if the pandemic is as bad as what they say it is, with thousands upon thousands of lives in jeopardy Australia just might want to get some urgency about themselves and follow SK's lead. But nope. Instead they push AZ's clotter drug and pay no heed to either the Russian or Chinese vaccine.

You don't think there might be the aroma of a manufactured crisis about any of this do you?

Makes the Novavax vaccine all the more vital. That's not to say the Russian or Chinese vaccine is of no use, just that because this is the west, they will never get a look in.

Which leaves the question of where are the European pharmaceutical companies in all of this?

White House Will "Share" Millions Of Unwanted AstraZeneca Jabs With Developing World

Of course, the US and de facto international vaccine czar Bill Gates are largely responsible for policy decisions that denied a "people's vaccine" - an open-source project that would make vaccine development free to all nations without enriching drug giants like Pfizer, J&J and Moderna. But in an effort to appear magnanimous, the White House has reportedly told the Associated Press that it plans to give away its entire stock of AstraZeneca jabs, just as soon as they are cleared by US regulators in a federal safety review.

No. I own none.

The interest I have in it is the anomaly between their vaccine gaining approval versus the American ones that are causing clots but still being pushed. But not in America and with political endorsement I might add. Since when did politicians become qualified to endorse experimental drugs? When their lobbyists and payors told them to be is my answer.

Big pharma have some of the most powerful lobbyists around. That's why, IMHO, you see the first to market vaccines belong to Pfizer, JNJ and AZ. GSK is involved with Novavax. Merck was involved with Moderna's but no longer. I am genuinely flummoxed as to why Roche and Novartis, Bayer and Sanofi are all missing from the equation when the EU is still suffering from the pandemic. But, we are yet to get a final settlement on the North Atlantic FTA.

The UK medicines regulator is expected to approve the Novavax vaccine imminently. It is known as a protein subunit vaccine and incorporates a lab-made coronavirus spike protein and an ingredient called an adjuvant that makes the body’s immune response stronger. Once upon a time, Merck paid US$1.1bn CASH for a company called Sirna. At the time their lead candidate was for macular degeneration. Very similar to retinitis pigmentosa. They made a total hash of it. Lost key people and the IP wasn't that great in the end. It ended up in the ALNY stable for pennies on the dollar.

https://www.nature.com/articles/d41586-019-03069-3

Not stated in the article is as time would show, the Sirna deal became the high tide mark for RNAi companies.

Which means, if PYC is to be sold or have a cornerstone partner, most likely Merck, then the valuation must be able to match the Sirna deal.

Currently, the valuation is about half a billion. Therefore, there must be at least double the value to be had. That makes it approximately, 30c. Anything less and I reckon Junior and Senior have failed. But then we don't know the true details of the AMGN-FPRX deal.

The more I look at NVAX and the anomalies around its vaccine coming to market under so called pandemic wartime conditions the more rancid the smell of rigged bidding becomes.

We are at late April now, early Q2 and I suspect that whatever is about to go down in the biotech/pharma space we will see Merck right smack bang in the middle of it along with heavy American state influence. Be it from the White House, the FDA, USPTO or some other organ. If it is timed for Fourth of July celebrations then you will know just how staged everything really is.

Timing could be deal announced in time for Fourth of July or deal closed for Fourth of July and announced six to eight weeks earlier.

Watch for the sell in May thing.

Novavax's Covid-19 vaccine was 96% effective in preventing cases caused by the original version of the coronavirus in a late-stage trial conducted in the United Kingdom, the company said on Thursday, moving it a step closer to regulatory approval.

There were no cases of severe illness or deaths among those who got the vaccine.

The vaccine was also about 86% effective in protecting against the more contagious virus variant first discovered and now prevalent in the UK. It was about 90% effective overall, combining data from people infected with both versions of the coronavirus.

The vaccine which has been shown to be the safest and most efficacious according to UK data can't be used in Australia until more data driven from America is available to make a decision with is available.

But its ok to push the AZ and JNJ vaccine without proper due diligence and data even when the evidence shows it can be life threatening.

Something wrong here. How can it be ok for politicians to endorse drugs that threaten to kill those who receive them while denying the populace safer and more effective alternatives?

Jacinda still has not had her shot yet.

Must be due for a market update shortly now we are in Q2. After that, the statutory reports are due. Could well be a googly on the way. The hint was in the last update. See below.

Watch out for the MBO.

It's easy really. Just blame covid.

While it is still part way through the US lifting season where
sales are typically finalised in February/March, progress on remaining sales
orders is slower this year compared to prior years. This is largely related
to Covid-19 affecting calendar year 2020 harvest levels, and also delayed
site preparation and planting activities brought about by restrictions on
migrant labour into the US from Central America. Added to this, a number of
hurricanes during the period (particularly Hurricane Laura) affected site
preparation progress in certain regions.

The daily, 30 and 100 day average prices are all converging. Kind of indicates some sort of super nova is about to happen. My bet is, the price collapses through to the 13c mark again and maybe even below.

After Archegos and all this time, there must be some real power struggle games going on under the surface.

It is after all, the Hughie and Luke Show.

These vaccine trials are old tricks at next level. Only this time, its in the west and endorsed by the politicians. You can see why Moderna has hired new legal counsel and Merck ditched out on them. Doesn't it make you a bit cynical?

Reading about the clots from the vaccines I am reminded about the kid who died from the Nucleonics therapy. Apparently, that set the industry back about ten years. Now, it appears if you die while taking an experimental gene therapeutic, it doesn't make any difference. The politicians are just going to endorse whatever it is they are told to by their power brokers and the regulators will just go along with it.

Surely, this situation cannot continue. AZ and JNJ, both companies who worked with BLT's ddRNAi, have to pull their vaccines.

You will get the NRA argument: Guns don't kill people!

In other words, the clots have nothing to do with the vaccine.

Yeah. Sure.

Just wash your hands regularly and theres a good chance you wont get covid. If you do, you will be back to normal in about a week.

The CEO of Pfizer believes people will need a third dose of the Covid-19 vaccine six to 12 months after their first round.

During a panel discussion hosted by CNBC, Albert Bourla said: "Protection goes down by time but still in six months it's still extremely, extremely high."

Bourla added that he thinks people may need to be immunised against coronavirus annually.

I suspect the technology Novavax is using will be the same technology which is used by the Chinese and Russians. A bit like each party developing their own aerofoils for a plane once flight was discovered. Then putting it out there to see which one performs best.

In this case, flight is gene therapy. The aerofoil is the modality of delivery for the oligonucleotide and the test is made under false pretences of a pandemic to skip around all the rules required for proper trials. Such a crisis also minimizes the risk of bandits stealing the IP.

It appears the US planes don't fly too well.

Given the Merck connections and history with newbies it would make sense the cornerstone holder upon consolidation will be Merck.

The only unknown is at what price.

If you are Merck, why would you pay 17c if you can buy it for less?

That might explain the long dated options priced in at 17c.
