this constant high AUD , and the uncertainty of its effect on csl's bottom line will be here to stay, so i dun expect the SP to go up much.

wasnt it -70 million or soemthing, if the AUD stays at 90cents?

DUMPPPPPPED lol

i sold out a while ago at 3.30 for a 5 cent loss

what a waste of my time

IMO - theres something with oilers, pretty much all oil producing companies, hardly move with the POO ie when its going up..

but when POO goes down...... man does my oilers feel it.....

if it wasnt for AZA/NXS M&A going on, id sell them as well.

oilers.. such a waste...

i prefer my base metals... nice and easy dig it out and sell.

i beleive the easy oil to get out of the ground and easy money is made.

aint no such thing as LT oil companies growing from say 2 mill to 20mill to 200 mill to 2 billion.

if u want an oiler, buy woodside, buy BHP etc

or buy the specs.

these mid tier oilers disgust me really

get a graph of PSA/ROC/NXS/BPT/TAP etc etc

compare to say the ASX,

u will find it amazing.

also compare with POO, from the low 60s, to the 90s now, ie up 50% which oil producing mid tier has gone that high up

take my advice, either buy the blue chip oilers, or if here to make some cash play with the specs

but mid tier oilres bah..

it either gets depressed assssss and then come take over eg hardman.

if the T/O didnt come, i bet u hardman will still be where it is now

Cooper Energy - Im participating in their SPP, Previous companies that i have also participated in are L STX, RNG, IGR, ARU

SO i do not see why TTY cant do it as well!!!

Telephone: (+61 8) 9483 5100 thats the number to call!

do some research folks and have a look at LIM take over

in LIM, xtrastra had secured 19.6% of the shares when they offered 18.60 CAD, in the end the russians came to win it at CAD36.

This time around, i see BHP and CVRD coming, reason, they need JBM's high grade to feed into their smelters.

Watch the next 2 months folks

i find it dissapointing too

i ahve been thinking these few days, whether to sell now for break even , and ship it elsewhere, or to just dig in and hold the fort.

i have recently purchase NXS and AZA as powerplays

so my oil sector has beefed up a bit, compared to the other sectors i hold, am a bit weak in copper and iron.

but come on roc, get the SP moving...

1.- yeah its still there. though something about the high case scenario is out now? since they only tested the mid case scenario ie 7kms away but only 10 m was shown....

2. very true @ 1.70 or soemthing like that .

3. when is this extension going to be tested?

6. the wildcats are well wildcats , when are they going to be drilled?

7. - like u said its just chance, at the moment we have no idea whats going to happen.

All i see news coming is the 4. the reserve upgrade of crux? when did they say they would announce it at end of September?

Im trying to find more reasons to buy it in the short term u c.

I do not want to park my funds in NXS when i know that there aint much happening for the next 6 months or so.

All we have is the Crux - independent reserves that is solid right?

anything else?

im sure their next big announcmenet is in Januaray ie the FEED on the CRUX

so thast still a good 3 months away..

any down turn in global markets and im sure NXS will get smashed down, providing there is no news, off which there isnt

However i did not know about the new reserves upgrade by independent researchers, that may be worth dipping my toes in possibly...

In reply to: OILMAN1 on Tuesday 04/09/07 08:42pm

agree with oilman

was tinking of jumping in tomorrow

but fact is from now till next year they got no news coming

some news in Jan about crux i tink its the results of the FEED

then drill is what April?

the fact that its only 10 m instead of the 20-30m of what they had thought....

and its 7km away..

We may see $1 , esp if the global markets fall a bit

maybe even down to 80cents *DOUBT IT!* ie previous SPP

all the best, LT i tink NXS is a goer, but with only LONGTOM coming in mid 2008, *i reckon end of 2008, theres always delays*

will be a long 9 months to wait

jojo

just refering to ur previous post awhile ago

i have neva sold or brought EQN.

However i have brought today at just under $4
only 50% of what i want though, markets still a bit skittish... and i will pick up more when its cheaper.

Do you know of other copper producers, and at what costs do they have?

TMR - is US$1/lb

EQN is US$0.75c/lb

What about freeport? BHP et al?

just want to find out if EQN has cheap costs to mine compared with other companies.

Whats OXR cost to produce per pound?

MBL is takin a dunk im down 7%!!!

QBE mmmmmm long term for me in that one eh but nearly 4% down is ouch

im used to big falls from my mining spec stocks, but i have invested 4x as much as i would in the blue chips as i would in spec stocks

i wont be buying my other lot of MBL just yet, though am really tempted! $74 mmmm

QBE its only sub 29, not a big drop for me ,

and WOW still above 26

aint bargain basement yet

but QBE and WOW i consider keep on buying

MBL .... just a bit nervous,

id like the XAO to go down to 5600 and touch the 4 year LT trend line that would be nice

i sold this puppy at the beg of the year at breakeven around 10 cents

so i missed msot of the action, but i saw the flag formation and jumped back on at 20.5

have made over 60% now and intend to hold till 2009 , so all good for me :D

exactly

not many instos are interested in ARU at the moment

also not many followers in australia

we have a hand ful of us on HC chit chatting, prob 10 of us in total maybe more

but a few are in the top 20 so that is good

holders and keepers, u find that the LTers like myself wont buy during ann. we buy on the dips instead

the germans were the ones that made this a 5 bagger + for more.

so will be interested at what the germans think of it tonite!

Delays, delays delays

i sold 1/3 at 76.5 today, and brought into IGO instead.

shocking that its delayed, since we are so close to construction. i cannot afford to own non producing companies these days.

so i have brought igo since they are producing and also at similar costs to AGM.

im still for agm, but have lightened up the weightings.

DISC: own AGM/SMY/MCR/IGO

Not to mention that since januaray they have diluted the companies funds from 440 - 560-70 million or another words by more than 20%.

Now since im quite new to EQN, why did EQN do so many placements to instos for under 100 million cash etc, they have done that a few times have they not?

Are you using that money yet? Now im not to sure how it all works
I mean couldnt they say, ok so we need money by x month, how about we await until the SP is the highest, then do a SPP , dispatch the prospectus's etc etc, and raise a bigger amount , and do it just once...

not little amounts but doing it like 2-4 times?

my my sorry folks for steeping on ur toes :D

just a n00b doing a n00b analysis.

to crazy:

using $USD 2 a pound is because im using LT values, as a result i should be consistant, so i should use a LT AUD value of 0.75 cents

the reason why im using LT values is because we all should, look a nickel >< its come down a lot *mind you im Ni fan and have yet to sell any Ni companies*

Your next query was? why im using $1 as cost, well its just to make things easier, i found they were costing 0.93 cents from somewhere?
jojo's post? maybe anothers post? or i think it was in the june's presentation?

Reason for that is because, either way they are going to make about $1 EBITDA anyhow.

Jojo used a $1.75 LT copper price, i used $2 LT copper price.

so my analysis aint great, but its rough enough for me to not buy yet.

It is definately on the radar however.

Now someone else asked me why PE of 7?

Well here , Zinifex - PE = 5 i tink.. BHP PE = 10-12, OXR PE = 7-8 isnt it?

Nickel companies, usually PE of 7

So thats why i used a PE of 7, IMO PE of 5 = cheap as chips, PE 10 = a bit rich for mining companies ex RIO/BHP.

Oh also someone asked why i left out uranium?

Well obviously im only interested in teh copper, and the uranium is just the cream on the top. As i stated at the start of the post i was doing my analysis similar to what Jojo had done, of which i had done be4 i saw her post.

So , say we include the uranium, isnt it NPV of 150-300 million?

so say we take the upper of 300 million, they have what 570 million shares diluted? so say give it 50cents add that to the price.

i hope that explains it all, im not bagging the company at all, i just think that at this stage, it aint a bargain like it was back in januaray/feb, and like they say 'im late on board the train' . Who knows i might be wrong.

Mind you im not telling you guys to sell either, EQN holders = good thing. if i purchased sub $2 i wouldnt be selling either.

Mind you in saying that im not buying too tongue.gif

So i guess my position on EQN if i owned some, it would be a hold.

In the meantime, since i do not own any EQN shares, its on my watchlist... i will await with pleasure for more market corrections :D

I hope that helps...

regards

a friend pointed my direction to EQN

afta doing some research and number crunching

i revised JoJos, and i used a LT copper price of $2 /lb and i used their gross profit as $1 per /lb

2008 Q2 170k tonnes of Cu
Costs US 93c/lb
Tax @ 25% plus royalty of 0.6%

374 million lbs of Cu

$374 profit
95.7 mill tax
278 profit
AUD 0.75

and using exchange rate of 75cents instead of 77 or what it is at the moment.

for 2008 - since its just producing at 6 months rate,

2008 0.32eps pe7 2.24

2009 0.64eps pe7 4.48

that is what i got, so at 4.48 , with teh SP nearing $4.

it seems fully priced to me

not to mention they still need like what 200-300 million USD still

capital costs is $900 million US ?

they have say 600 mill as loans now, with 66 mill as cash?

correct me pls if im wrong

ill have it on the radar but thats it for now

i hold AGS/CUY/EVE/WMEO/WHE/BLR/PDN/ERNO/ACB

as my uranium exposure

i do also hold aruo as well 24cent avg :D

so i am bullish on uranium, but so far uranium makes up 1/3 of my portfolio... ive seen profits eaten up and yeah.

Just need to start entering some oil and iron as i see them the next things going up.

Uranium and Nickel IMO needs a healthy 6 month consolidation be4 it goes up again, nickel = 1/3 of portfolio as well.

I mite just sell a few off PDN/EVE/CUY just to get capital back and freehold the rest

but i gotta see which will gain me the most i guess, and what to buy, as most Iron producers are up 100-500% already this year, which is massive.

Hi guys,

Im a SMM convert here into PDN.

With PDN being a 5 billion company, whats the chances of PDN doubling up again? say going to 20

i know 12 is reachable within say 6 months - 1 year.

but at $20 means about 10 billion company.

I can just easily double my money from PDN else where thats all..

At the moment i have sold ZFX which i have doubled up on, to buy ROC instead which i see has a greater chance of doubling up.

Whats everyones thoughts?

Am seriously thinking of selling PDN at $10 ie the highest price i could have roughly got for SMM if i had taken cash instead of script

excuse my ignorance

but i have searched everywhere, and yet i cant find if there are any historic drillingers?

are they targetting any u deposits? historiic x amount of million lbs of U?

mind u it does say hardly any exploration done in tanzania...

if so , would we say this is a very grass roots explorer?

with chick samples and no historic drilling

mind u they are drilling soon rite?

so apart from the 25 mill cash... and some dealigns with bhp.... 200 mill MC a bit over the top for a uranium grassroots explorer.

NB - i have neglected the copper or what eva tehy have, just concentrating purely on the U.

positives:
good alliance with bhp
dines has recommended it
NS is on this... the man who has made greatness out of PDN and AGS.

pls convince me to buy?

i see it has fallen to more appropriate levels of 34cents ps..

howeva

plenty of other explorers out there targetting historic drills...

WHE - about 20 mill lbs
ERN - calculation of 9 mill lbs
ACB - 20 mill lbs etc

mind u off course all not JORC.

cheers ya;ll

have u done a breakdown of profits for PNN

so say if they go ahead with all this, does that mean PNN will effectively own only 40% of the uranium deposit?

therefore 40% of the profits?

UB

i know we might have already gone thru this be4.

but what target price realistically do we have on AGS

Simple one would be at least $3.00 ps..

i tink i got a target price of $3.80, based on 50k tonnes *of which AGS owns 25%, and comparing MC with amount of lbs, compared against PDN

Accordingly to the Carmichel Research report on 31st May 2006 on SMM *you can find this on SMM's home page under reports*

They had a price target of $3.35 based on a USD40 /lb price of U

Now i sorted it out, for every $2 increase, it equates to a 30cents increase in SP target of their research.

So say i gave a uranium price of USD80/lb, thats a $40 increase / 2 = 20

therefore 20 x 30cents = $6

therefore $6 + $3.35 = $9.35

Or roughly where all the other commentatories are talking about.

So for PDN to announce a hostile TO using scripts instead of cash

One would have to give into at least yes i say at least $10+

If it was cash, $9 id take it.

so the fact that they are bidding for at least IMO AND OTHERS AT LEAST 50% discount!!

u'll be a fool to sell to them folks.

im a LT holder of ARUO options.

if u want to have a perspective look at what nupower mite list as in early march.

Check out GPN/YRR's action in about 30 mins time.

GPN - spun out its NT uranium assets, GPN is to retain 70% of YRR. YRR closed 5 times oversubscribed.

YRR price was 20 cents.

Match price looking at around 70 cents at the moment.

Which is roughly 250% increase for the lucky sods who got their YRR allocations.

If nupower could mimick this , i to believe those that brought at 99 cents ARU to get their entitlement, is worth it.

IMO

mac is right
bar the bottom line of his post lol

just be patient and wait to top up, wait when there is no news, no rumours then jump back in

ext - bad management, etc and they have had a significant run, but had nothing , just nearloogy,

at least aex had historical drills - aex once again bad management IMO

blr at least they have good tentaments, abiet small at the moment - though if taylor comes in at even 10 mill lbs then its great.

omc - with a JORC of 13 mill lbs, is under a t/o for about roughly 150 mill or so.

my target price for BLR would be thereabouts so that means about 25-30 cps - thats just on taylor ranch uranium aka 10 mill lbs +

tahts not incl its copper and other uranium deposits.

as much as i wish not to share this info, n let macs continue to scare the weak hands, so taht i can top up sub 10s

i just had to share it :d

lol biggrin.gif

thign is, my online broker has a weird system going on

they use a custodian facility, in which all my shares are under their name, so they do things on my behalf.

i think its a blotch with the system due to the fact with the weekend and also the stat days etc etc

i just hope i am fully compensated i guess

the more they delay and the more CQT rises, the bigger lost to them it will be, as i have given clear instructions to exercise the options.

i was just wondering if any other cqt option holders are in teh same boat as i am

They are buying for HCM LLC - Highbridge Capital Management

Highbridge Capital Management is a New York-based, $7 billion, multi-strategy hedge fund organization asociated with JP MOrgan, that operates with seven discrete strategy groups: global convertible arbitrage, event-driven equity arbitrage, statistical arbitrage, structured private investments, European special situations, long-short equity, and special opportunities.

ie - they are a hedge fund buying on the expectation that a further bid will enable them to make a low-risk short term profit.

Looks as though JP are definitely going to block the DZN takeover.

SSH notice out.

JP morgan UK, is still stocking up.

9.29% holdings now - blocking stack soon at 10%.

what are the chances they are buying for DZN? zero i would think? since they have been accumulating OMC for along time now

UK buyer?

either way, latest is a purchase of about 1 mill fpos average at around 1.13 id say

clearly above the 1.10 take over price.

interesting very interesting

i still hold for counter bid

NET PAY PPL NET PAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY

ASX RELEASE
18 December 2006
Eureka Energy Limited (ASX:EKA, ?Eureka? or ?Company?)
KOYUNLU-1 WELL- LOGS INDICATE OIL PAY
Operations
The Operator reported that at midnight Eastern European Time on 17 December 2006, the well was waiting on cement to set after a remedial cement job to seal the base of the 7 inch casing prior to flow testing.
Since our last report on the 11 December 2006, swabbing operations to test the 41 metre interval of fractured Garzan Formation carbonates between 1,211 metres (depth adjusted after wire-line logging) and 1,252 metres (total depth) were terminated when water from an overlying formation was found to be entering the well-bore from behind the 7 Inch casing, thereby invalidating any test.
While preparations were made to re-cement the 7 Inch casing, wire-line logs were run over the 41 metre Garzan Formation interval which had oil and gas shows during drilling.
Interpretation of the logs by independent experts, indicated the full 41 metre fractured limestone interval was oil bearing, with net oil pay of 24 metres. There is no oil-water contact in the section logged. Reservoir characteristics, including porosity, are comparable to producing fields in the region.
After wire-line logging, remedial re-cementing of the 7 inch casing was carried out and at midnight the crew was waiting on cement to set. If pressure tests show that the remedial cementing is successful, the well will be cleaned out and the reservoir section flow tested.
The results of flow testing will be reported as they become available.
Background
Eureka has acquired farm-in rights to earn a 20% interest together with an option to increase its interest to 45%, in two adjoining exploration licences covering about 500 square kilometres in South East Turkey. This project is known as the Bismil Project. The Koyunlu-1 well is the first of two farm-in wells to be drilled in the licences.

soz i got my 300 mill, by using i tink the 9th page on the presentation.

is mining cost and total cost the cost of expense rite?

so its like 98 c per pound of ore mine = total expense?

i timees that by total pound of ore mined per year.

then used their production pa of copper/silver/gold = revenue..

revenue - expense = profit.. ebita anyhow..

meh i guess im wrong.

i dunno how they came up with 100 mill cashflow..

anyhow 100 mill profit /1400 mill shares = 7c eps.

what do u give these companies a PE of ?

lets say 7 eh = roghly 50 cps target share price.

not massive but certainly well worth it.

maybe my 300 mill is for when the copper gets produced aswell?
meh?

either way i tink im gonna buy more..

but whats this laos news about?

2008 eps

caluclaitons, what do u guys think?

hey what eps u guys get for 2008?

i got 20 cps

using 5000 USD a tonne for cu
10 an ounce for silver

500 an ounce for silver.

mining 12 mt of ore
75cents total cost per lb of ore...

1.4 billion shares on issue.

300 mill profit a year, EBITA though..

giving it a PE ratio of even a conservative PE 5,

gives me $1 a share..

as u can see conservative metal prices with PE ratio.

though i did not calculate paying off the 250 mill to produce the plant, though they have the cash now.

nor did i calculate for tax etc.

its just a rough calculation.

what do u guys think?

i predicted a 172-192 valuation 6-8 months ago

glad i stuck to it :D'

still holding, and not taking any profits yet, i believe this still has tyet to run, as my valuation was just on the copper alone..

with zinc coming in..... i will need new financial numbers to get a new price target

healyn

why is it hard to fund???

seriously tell me pls

cause i dun see nothing wrong with it.

1. it aint freebies to mates, its a SPP in which exsisting share holders can partake

2. the funds are going to exploration. if u reackon it wont give u a good return then dont do it.

3. price tody is at 33cents, 25cents is good support line, so i tink its ok

only bad i have with it, is that at 25 cents, it kinda suxs, cause last time they issued freebies to mates at 28 cents .

anyhow, this impact on the spare price, is like a 1 cent fall to 32 cents

i hardly see it as negative

any long termers in EVE could tell me a bit of the history of placements etc?

crazy jim smith

noted that, there aint much cash in the kitty, and they have been issuing paper for awhile now..

i do note afta todays performance shares, # of shares = 200 mill

which IMO its not too shady.

do directors look afta us shareholders?

i dun want no AEX dibarcle!!

im confident EVE will emulate OMC i hope

AGS - mangement did a SPP which was good, and wasnt at that much of a discount aswell.

just hope EVE management doesnt give out freebies to their mates..

yeah Pb man its going up and up and... ummm up :D

nizar i appreciate ur bullish analysis but first things first.
ah hartleys 2.50 thats where i got my 2.50 valuation earlier in the year!!

ok.
1. PE10 u reackon is appropriate mmmm , possibly.... zfx is usually rated at pe of 5, KZL around 20.

so if we have in between then yeah i reackon could be a posibility. but ill sll stick to PE of 5 for all zinc stocks :D be more conservative mite i add hehe, possibly 8 :D

2. u say potential for takeover? thats pretty much zero? unless toho takes it over? toho has got 25%...

toho = japs
KZL = got koreans..

koreans and japs wont merge together lol

3. while its tempting to use current zinc prices, being conservative its best not to.

in their presentation, i used their 200 revenue per tonne. and then minus the costs

i factored in a tiny increase in zinc , i tink they said for every 100 zinc increase its $4 increase in revenue i dunno but its in the slides!! lol

but yes i tink i got my higher target price, cause hartleys used a higher PE ratio, i have been using 5 .... hehe

all good, looking to top up on CBH.... grrr it ran away from me today

come on markets fall would ya!

i note the us markets have been failing of late

what these 2 announcements have shown, accompanied by the map , go to their website to get the one in colour, its much more in detail.
According to their map, they are drilling in an 'upwards direction' i tink its NW? not to sure, but u can compare with the drill timetable, and can guage the direction.

#1 drill hole
the significance of this, is that they have found something btw 700-900 metres ish, deep yes, but 200 metres of mineralisation...... that is something.

#2 drill hole
This hole is significant, because it confrims what the directors have suggested that the more the drill, the shallower the 'ore body' mite be

here we see minerisation STARTING at 620m to 786m
roughly 166m of strike.

with the base at 589metres.

so in conclusion, its all good

yes it is deep , but not to sure what olympic dam or caarpentria was?

was it deep?

Regards,

Timeline of Drill Programme

12 Sept 06
Announces drilling at Punt Hill has begun. Expected to take - 3 to 5 months.

Each drill hole to be about 5 - 8 days and assay samples to be sent asap.

First 7 holes have been modelled and is to target between 250 - 500 metres.

Holes 8 - 11 to be finalised.
-------------------------------------------------

29th September
roughly 17 days - or 13 working days

drill #1 announcenced.

The first drill hole of a 10 hole campaign has intersected highly altered Gawler Range
Volcanics at 721 metres grading to complex hematite breccia with visible bornite and
chalcopyrite mineralisation.
The drill hole is currently at 771 metres and remains in mineralised hematite breccia. The
Whistlepig target is located in the deeper southern part of the Punt Hill tenement with
basement expected to shallow to the north where a historical drill hole intersected
basement at 252 metres. Up to 13 targets remain to be tested in this campaign.

interesting #1 hole is 731 metres, deeper than the 500 metre target. Is suppose to shallow out a bit.

-------------------------------------------------

5th October 2006

Drilled till 966 metres, mineralsation roughly at 730-966 metres - or 200 metre of potential ore body. Deep stuff here, no open pit design for around this place, underground styles here.
but as they said, they are starting to drill the deeper stuff first.

Monax Mining Limited (ASX Code ?MOX?) advises that drilling at the Whistlepig target on
its Punt Hill tenement has ceased at 966 metres which was drill rig capacity. Drilling hit
basement at 721 metres in highly altered Gawler Range Volcanics to 751 metres followed
by hematite breccia and alteration with variable amounts of visible bornite and chalcopyrite
mineralisation from 751 metres to 966 metres. The hole ended in the mineralised system.
Monax is in the process of submitting samples for testing.
Drilling at the second target on Punt Hill, Woodchuck has commenced and is currently at a
depth of 300 metres.
The Woodchuck target is approximately 2 kilometres to the north-west of Whistlepig 1 and
is on the next gravity target to the north.

started on #2 hole already, and had reached 300 metres.
--------------------------------------------------

10th October 2006

Drill hole #2 nearly complete, so in 30 days they have drilled roughly combined 1700 metres or so,
so we expect to have announcements every fortnightly, maybe even weekly - as they finish the the drill hole up to 900ish metres whilst starting on next drill hole up to 300 metres.

Iron-oxide copper-gold (?IOCG?) style (bornite and chalcopyrite) mineralisation has been
intersected at Woodchuck, the second target along trend (refer Figure 1). The drill hole
targeted a gravity feature 1.8 km to the north-west of the Whistlepig hole where similar
mineralisation was encountered.
Basement was reached at 589 m (132 m shallower than Whistlepig) and consisted of
highly altered Gawler Range Volcanics. Visible signs of mineralisation were encountered
at 620m and continues to the current hole depth of 786 m. The hole will continue to the
maximum drill rig capacity of 980 m depending on ground conditions.
Following completion of this hole Monax will continue to test a further target along the
Groundhog Gravity Trend by drilling the Groundhog target, a further 1.8 km to the northwest
of Woodchuck (refer Figure 2).
The current drill program aims to test another eight regional gravity features within the
same extensive structural corridor (refer to figure 1) on the Punt Hill tenement.

i got burnt on UNX, i brought at 78cents, afta it had retraced by about 50%

anyhow, management there was stupid.

they went up cause of a LOI

MOX is going up cause of drill holes ppl drill holes

WS u aint alone, plenty here on SS myself and UB included.

what NS says is correct to an extent, but wrong in one,

heres my TA reason:

I brought this stock around mid july. it has traded on a narrow range of high 20s to mid 30s. it was suppose to start drilling in august, but drill got delayed cause of other company. others sold out because of this and bagged management that they werent updating share holders blah blah blah

i stuck to my guns in september and waited.

on thurs last week, it broke out of its range, surged to 40 cents on good volume. friday resulted in more buying, on bigger volume, and we saw the SP reach 60 cents, before closeing in mid 50s.

monday was pretty much the same patter on friday. closed 58cents.

today: TH COMPANY ACTUALLY ASKED FOR THIS OK!

announcement came out, 2nd hole results out.

i expected the stupid traders to sell the fact, i belive it would fall to around mid 40s low 50s.

HOWEVER TODAYS ACTION DID NOT EVENTUATE.
we saw the buy on rumour , sell on fact didnt work for MOX.

instead it punched the skies, made higher highs, we saw a 300k sell order at 90cents trying to cap the price.

80k got chomped out of it, and the resulting capper pulled his plug.

then we saw 95
100
105
and we finished at 110

a new closing high for MOX

there is the TA for u ppl, that is why i reackon tomorrow and the next few days increase in SP.

i expect the T3 traders to come out , say they brought today and i really do think they brought today, they got till friday to sell

so id expect weakness on friday/monday

however by then, i expect #3 drill hole results out in roughly 10-14 days from today.

so be prepared to trade fellas...

for LT holders, all this means nothing to us

infact we are waiting for it come back down, so we can top up :D

the parabolic uptrend, may not be finished

and that there is still a bit more steam to go?

with the 3rd hole out in about 1-2 weeks time

there is plenty of time and for more momentum to come

UB

or whoeva said it. u were so right that this 2nd hole would be shaller than the first :D

cant believe even with 200% increase in less than 1 month. its still small!

they are only 27 mill

8 more holes coming

maybe 2nd drilling program of 10 more coming - no need to wait for drill rig as they have contract for potential 10 more drill holes.

they have 4 mill in bank.

if they drill 20 holes, thats 2 mill gone

so thast 2 mill left in the bank.

say the end up being $1.20 conservatively - thats 36 mill MC
its all good, enough for cap raising etc.

bloody awesome

plan of action for me fellas?

i brought in at 29 cents with the MC around 8-9 mill

its 88 now..... im at 200% profit...

what shall i do?

even at 88cents its just 27 mill ish, for its MC.

all good IMO, aint too expensive IMO, compared to other specs

at least this is drilling

we have 2 holes done, 8 more coming, with another 10 more holes if the first 10 is good.

plenty more upside potential.

though i am thinking of selling 1/3 to get my capital back...

i think its great last i saw they had 5 mill in cash.

here are the good points for all you stupid bears out there

1. its only slightly more than a 5% dilution, hardly anything!

2. no underwriter, so what you reackon that is a bad thing? its a good thing cause just in case say insto was only prepared to underwrite $1 mill worth of shares, yet they receive $2 mill, straight afta placement, instos will sell down that $1 mill extra they got.

Therefore the way i see it as, with no underwrite, management is confident it will have a strong uptake, and also will protect us from not having any issues with an underwriter taking more than they wanted.

3. management has informed us of what they are using the money for. using it for victoria , the gold, and the uranium project in SA.

4. the price is perfect @ 67cents, its pretty much a 50% retracement from this run, ie from 40cent breakout to $1.

thumbs up for management i say.

and who knows because the record date, distribution etc is not shown. what makes you think they dun have any good announcements coming up, which will hopefully place the SP higher.

i hope the rights are tradable as ill be buying them :D

some of the folks here just seem to amaze me at the lack of information and critical thinking ya'll have.

DISC: AGS avg at 66cents

ok fellas , can someone help me work out a estimated yearly profit?

here is what i got very brief and newb:

Radio Hill
i have 2000t of Ni @ 9% per month
= 180t of Ni per month
= 2160t of Ni per year, lets just be conservative and use 2000t of Ni

2000Ni x say just say $25000 a tonne = 50 mill

also at radio hill is 1000t of Cu @ 25% per month
= 250t of Cu per month
= 3000t of Cu per year

3000t of Cu per year using $8000 a tonne = 24 mill

50 + 24 = 74 mill a year, now im not to sure what costs are involved. say they get 50% of profit = 37 mill

Whundo Copper
30 million PROFIT after 5 months they said.

so 30 mill + 37 mill = 67 mill profit. lets just use 60 mill to be more conservative.

they have 112 mill + 25 mill options = around 140 mill total dilution

therefore 60 / 140 = 43 cents per share earnings.

Lets use a PE of say 5 - ZFX - has PE of 5 due to low mine years

so 43cents x 5 = $2.15 per share!!!

lets use PE of say 4

43 cents x 4 = $1.72 per share!!!

so...... another words, further justifies the fact that i aint selling any of mine, ANY OF MINE, until it has reached at least 1.70!

once its there, i will reassess the situation, mite sell 1/3 @ $2.

but i am looking forard to xmas via FXR :D

mmm i mite actually top up my FXR holdings :D

Regards,
Daz/Dazzahc/Dazza

hey could someone indicate/confirm to me how much U does PDN have at its namabia deposit please?

measured and indicated = 0.07% for 22,200t of U
total inferred resource = 0.06% for 23,800t of U

so total U resource = 23,800t + 22,200t = 50k t of U?

or do we just use the total inferred resource of 23,800t of U = 23,800t of TOTAL U in that deposit?

thanks in regards

ok i did a newb analysis

they are going to mine 600k tonnes of cost of total 63 bucks per tonne

that means 38 mill in cost

they will produce 5700 tonnes of Ni - selling at say $USD20000 a tonne = $AUD26000 a tonne using 0.75 Exchange rate.

so 5700 x26000 = 148 mill

therefore 148 mill - 38 mill = 110 mill profit

thats be4 admin costs etc

so 110 mill / 630 mill shares = 17cps earnings

stick in a PE of say 5 = 85 cents?

say PE of 10 = 170 cents

is that right fellas?

hey fellas, just brought into BPT today, only spent half my dosh that i wanted to, just to test the waters.

if it comes back to 1-1.20 ill execute other half.

the website doesnt seem to have any links to any broker reports/valuations

could someone please email me a copy at chowad@xtra.co.nz

or give me an url of it etc etc?

going by their most recent presentation,
by 2008, they should be producing 5 mmlboe

using their net back, of an oil price of USD64 a barrel., they have margins of $AUD55 a barrel for off shore, and $AUD63 for on shore

with my newb analysis

5 mmlboe x $AUD55 = 275 mill bucks profit by 2008.

275/560 mill shares = 49cps (2008 EPS)

times by a PE of say a consertaive of 10 gives mem $4.90 SP target by 2008?
or about 300% todays prices.

so, if i could get any broker reports of BPT would be awesome thanks

yo newb questions here:

watson mite be able to answer them

so.. you all fellas reackon OMC is cheap, could u please enlighten me as to how?

a brief newb analysis

OMC
roughly 72 mill MC
150 mill diluted shares
14 mill in cash
expected to produce say 18-24 months time
BFS study coming too

has 11 mill pounds of U, inferred JORC, or roughly 5000 tonnes of U,
in 12 million tonnes of dirt tongue.gif

UNX
38 mill MC
76 mill diluted shares
8 mill cash
tanzania, no jorc compliance
very speccie
LOI from china
drilling soon maybe?

EXT
61 mill MC
761 mill shares
about 8k ounces of gold produced in june quarter , margin of 100 bucks per ounce
uranium near PDN and RIOs
cant find any jorc compliance
1.2 mill cash
drilling at the moment,a nd sept quarter expected to have higher margins on Au production

AEX
22 mill MC
550 mill shares *has some 330 mill oppies dunno how to ad them into MC...*
11000 tonnes of U JORC compliance inferred
2.2 mill cash
drilling at the moment..

thats very brief/very newb

DISC: own wmeo/aex/ext/unx
OMC - watchlist.

what im excited about is the prospect of OMC mining SOON, however, is that the reason why they have a MC that high compared to say AEX?
AEX has 1/3 of the MC, but then again 12 mill LESS of cash, BUT nearly DOUBLE Uranium resource...

at the moment, im about to reshuffle my unraium spec shares,

so id like some constructive analysis,as to which ones have more potential? and which one is undervalued by the market at the moment.

IMO
AEX - undervaled
UNX - overvalued
EXT - Au producer so a bit of cash flow is good, drilling results coming soon.

OMX - producer say max 2 years!! always good, lotsa cash at home good too, but inferred only like AEX.

WMEO - ........ rubbish pure spec , a bad buy by me ><

im looking to half my wmeo/unx holdings maybe....

OMC looks like a good place?

ps i also hold SMM from 1.2, for the election play next year.

In reply to: focus on Tuesday 01/08/06 09:57am

my post copied from HC, as to the current queries as to what the insto placement level will be at.

a newbies point of view

yes they have less than a mill in the bank

is the diamond drilling in august/sep, already been paid for?

some circulation that they are raising some funds, from instutions.

1. good sign they are able to get some $$ and also will provide some instition support.

2. BAD, price most likely will fall to the price.

seems like the placement would be around 38cents?

so 1. we definately know there will be placement, but we do not know at what price

they could depending on managements skillz, raise just FPOS, i doubt any free options would be given, given that they will expire in less than 6 months time.

looking from the charts, the SP broke out at around 15-20 cents.

its risen 3 times that price now.

institutions are not dumb, they will not buy at say 45-50 cents.

say they are prepared to pay for just a 1 time increase since this big run.

that would suggest the price settlement be closer to 30cents than it would be to 40cents.

30 cents still represents moderate risk to instos, as those that brought pre jump, have made 100%
they wouldnt have brought overpriced, as max price it reached was 50cents.

i doubt management could get a raising at 40 cents, if they could, id give management A+++

though with the last few days trading, the share price has stayed around the 40cent level, we do not know how long they have been talking to instos.

the next few trading days will interpret where i place my order.

provided there are no leaks, and the price remains stable, there would be more weight given to around a 40cent placement.

if there are leaks, and the price falls to mid 30s low 30s, then more weight given on around a 30 cent placement.

though like KMN, their placement was placed at 38cents, ie the gap level.

for CQT, the first gap level was 20cents, i doubt management would give instos THAT CHEAP OF A DEAL, they wount screw us up that much i hope at least anyhow...

2nd gap was the 36-8cent level, of which it has already filled, and is trading aorund that range.

so in summary, placement around 30 cent level, is possible, but with the data i have know, its more likely placement level will be at high 30s, rather than low 30s.

result:
i have pulled my 38cent order off for now, and will watch intently as to waht happens in the trading in the next couple of days.

as with always, there will be leaks,

unlike KMN, they placed their shares in a trading halt.

how does the ratings go?

Indicated > Inferred?

or Inferred > indicated

and isnt there another category.

This is with regard to IGR's Aldiss/Randall Gold Project

about time too, am very happy.

up on high turnover of nearly 4 mill shares, closed today above the previous all time high at 1.25

gapped from 1.12 yesturday to 1.20

potential new buyers and top upers should pick up at around the 1.12-5 mark if it eva gets back down there.

next week we have paterson #1 going to spud, should be interesting.

and to think i was going to sell this a few days ago!

awesome!

KL im in this since early last week , and its up 60% on todays close for me.

its great aint it tongue.gif

i mean it was a screaming easy buy/profit position, when looking over previous announcement, some sophistocated investor was lucky enough to dip his fingers in at 5cents for a substantial chunk of the company.

so its natural for the SP to gravitate to 5cents.

i will increase my holdigns if its able to break 5 cents and gets stabilised around that region.

aint this great BRO

from HC

Glaxo merged with Smith Kline Beechem after SKB had licensed zanamivir from BTA in the late 1990s. Glaxo was into flu vaccines, Relenza was labelled a niche product by the ceo JP Garnier and in 2001 quietly canned. No advertising, no production and certainly no royalties even though they were first of the NAI class of drugs to market and fitted to the virus binding site tightly without the risk of inducing mutations as was expected and has since been confirmed, from Tamiflu.

BTA then sued GSK for breach of contract (which stated GSK would use their 'best endeavours' to promote Relenza to the market). We now know that they were bad-mouthing Relenza in the court documents, they failed to advance alternative delivery mechanisms, they canned earlier trials on intravenous delivery from 1999, they failed even to apply for approval to sell for prophylatic purposes in the US even though trials were successfully completed there in nursing homes. The list goes on.

GSK simply could not be bothered. Now the world needs the drug in massive amounts and Bush has effectively ordered GSK to get cracking as have others governments. Because they are in litigation with BTA, these sales are an embarrassment and so they are LYING AT EVERY OPPORTUNITY to keep BTA in the dark.

Do not be fooled by this tactic. Only with information can the market act sensibly so all such information is being denied us for GSK's ulterior motives. They will not win but will go down fighting. I say let's all help by advertising their scam as widely as possible. Maybe BTA's hands are tied in red tape. Ours are not. Every piece of information we can glean wil help the BTA lawyers in their $430 M suit in the Victorian Supremen Court.

not genuenly happen with ADN's performance at the moment... a bit peeved off actually since its coming off its high of 70+ cents

though checking the charts, volume is tiny, yesturdays low of 50 cents, though it didnt close there... it is continuing to stay at its support level of mid 50s.

a close of around 50 would start to ring alarm bells.

i actually mite top up

fundamentally its great, and also T/O option via Illuka is there

plus zirconium is the fab with spot prices rising.

Iluka shuts losers, backs winners
Robin Bromby
December 09, 2005

ILUKA Resources has cleared the decks for massive investment in new Australian projects by closing down two loss-making operations in the US.

The company, the world's biggest zircon producer, said it would take a $US60 million ($80 million) charge for winding up its mineral sands mines near Jacksonville, Florida, and in Georgia. The Old Hickory mine in Virginia will remain open.

Iluka's Florida and Georgia mines have been producing since 1972 but they now represent just 6.5 per cent of Iluka's zircon output and 4 per cent of titanium metals production.

They lose money due to low grades, small and thin mineralisation and high costs, even with the present high prices for heavy minerals, especially zircon. Iluka managing director Mike Folwell reassured the market that this write-off would not affect previous profit guidance of between $130 million and $140 million for the year - although it would be nearer the lower end of that range.

The market was not happy, Iluka shares being marked down 30c to $8.10.

Fat Prophets analyst Gavin Wendt said the decision was no surprise, given the problems in the US operations and the competing needs for capital spending in the Murray and Eucla basins in Australia.

"I think it was a very easy decision for them to make," he said.

One of the projects that has been competing with the US mines for Iluka's attention and financial resources is Iluka's new Douglas mineral sands mine in the Victorian section of the Murray Basin. At $270 million, it is the single biggest investment ever made by Iluka. The mine is due to be producing in mid-2006.

But Douglas may be dwarfed by the potential of the Eucla Basin in South Australia.

In February Iluka announced it had discovered about $3.1 billion worth of zircon at the Jacinth and Ambrosia deposits near Ceduna's deepwater port.

Last month there was a third big discovery for the company in the Eucla Basin.

Drilling at its Tripitaka joint venture with Adelaide Resources, Iluka found a zircon-rich belt with grades of up to 63 per cent.

Much of Iluka's vast acreage in the Eucla Basin has yet to be explored

agreed there.

though the options are now not trading as a considerable discount as they have been in the past.

IMHO around the $1 mark is pretty even value, once the lease is given of which i am hopefull , then it will rocket up again.

though what happened to the gold?
initially i brought this cause of the gold it was to be expecting to produce in december..

whats happened?

such as is caught in the tide of the day traders.

i brought my initial LT holding a wee bit late after the french announcment, at 1.70

and saw it popping up to 2.20+
though its gapping down big time with no news..

yes thats right NO NEWS.. so not much has changed..
yet a longer than expected litigation process...

volume is light, good to be topping up on current holdings.

bird flu IMO is here to stay, and relenza and tamilfu is the only drugs on the market at the moment... do the maths.. buy on dips.

BTA is my insurance stock, incase birdflu does go to a pandemic... at least it will rise above my other stocks -_-
