and again this morning. The file is too big to attach here, so you'll have to download it from my website:

http://rettmer.com.au/TrinityHome/Xamples/...%2003-09-13.xls

This workbook includes the full list of the Top 200, plus a separate sheet with years of dividend history.
Enjoy.

Yields are down in line with the RBA cash rate. It doesn't take many mobile investors to buy shares they believe offer dividend plus appreciation, to lift prices generally beyond last year's yields.

When you look at the examples below, most yields (including franking credits) are still pretty attractive:

Attached File  ExDiv_w_yield_19_08_13.gif ( 106.26K ) Number of downloads: 32

Note: Yields are calculated from the latest dividend listed; hence in most cases reflect only HALF the annual number.

Looking through the yields for divs declared so far doesn't give a lot of encouragement arty.

Admittedly most of the stocks I hold haven't declared yet.

Watching the upcoming divs on sharedividends.com.au.

The general level of yields points to a season of either low profits, big write-offs or retained profits. But early days yet.

I'm non resident so I don't pay cgt on profits from shares, but also do not get imputation credits.

Wondering if there's a divvy stripping strategy to suit my tax situation ?
