CUE QE 30062012 - Did anyone notice OYONG oil production !!!
Santos reported in their QE 30062012 “Oil production from Oyong was almost 50% higher than Q1 2012 due to additional production from the Oyong infill well drilled in the first quarter and the shutdowns required in the first quarter to bring Wortel online. “

Did anyone notice:
Cue reported in their QE 30062012
"• Oyong Field
Cue’s share of condensate sales receipts was 368 barrels which generated A$0.03 million in revenue and gas sales of 377,829
mcf which generated A$1.0 million in revenue received during the quarter. The Oyong oil production rate is currently around
2500 bopd (gross) and the gas rate is 38 MMscfd (gross). The reliability of the production facilities has been excellent."

Andrew Knox has been quick to confirm "Oyong produced but we didn't get any lifting receipts until July. Wortel is producing at roughly twice Oyong gas and yes at approximately twice the price."

I also noted "Some Maari revenue was delayed until July due to the change to quarterly liftings"

With the SP under pressure from a persistent seller (possibly E.Albers???), production figures missing 3 months of Oyong and some Maari production, little to drive the short term SP is it time for a takeover ???

Anyway, next QE results should be superb ... and the current results significantly understate the actual !!!

The hot money has gone until drilling resumes.

Next drilling is appraisal of the Naga Utara gas discovery in Q4

Exactly when in Q4 we dont know yet.

I'd expect some punter interest to return to CUE a few weeks before the Appraisal drilling begins.

Strachan detailed all the projects , and where things could get solid value in the future , that is why there is so much detail .

Anyway, he started with a shouting headliner "" EXTREMELY UNDERVALUED ON HARD ASSETS WITH EXPLORATION AND DEVELOPMENTAL APPEAL""

Recommendation: CUE is a speculative buy with an underlying value of 22cps and a Risked upside of over 40cps. The company is adequately funded with operating cash flow of $2m per month and net cash of over $30m.

The above was published a day before the quarterly and we know now from that we can look forward to $2.5m operating cash flow , and CUE had a Q2 cash balance $34m.

Hi, what's the gist of his report? I'm not a subscriber, but interested to hear a precis, please.

Is it going to hold around the 15-16c mark? Or make a fresh low?

Closed at 14.5c today, risk off market and a recent high impact duster...

At 14.5c sp it looks cheap on FA but are we oversold on technicals yet ?
