Something that slipped under the radar is the second leg of the Sino-US trade agreement.

Trump mustn't have been able to close it out. Could be what he's talking about when he is referencing Biden being good for China.

And now they can't even afford to keep their COO and CEO (both of whom would have no duties to talk of).

In the hunt for a reverse listing.

You have to wonder why the NZX allows this dogs to even stay listed.

When Trump first took office he took a trip to Asia for different reasons. On the way back, he stopped at the ASEAN conference in the Philippines without any reason to be in attendance. Qanon stated it was for God and country. He met with Jacinda and Winston who afterwards, gave a press conference stating, while grinning like Cheshires, that they were going to change capitalism.

Well, so far, nothing much has happened.

He's got just three days left to change capitalism if he's gonna do it. Good luck is all I can say.

The new shares to be issued rank parri passu and are for services rendered in lieu of cash. A total of 67,770 are to be issued which according to the statement released carry a value of $7,450.

All sorts of questions jump out of that. What's the service rendered and why not just pay cash for such a small sum? Just put it against the salaries paid to get some perspective. Maybe its a favour to someones mistress or child.

They can issue up to 15% without shareholder approval and they see fit to issue these for peanuts.

Strange but highlights one of the problems of this company no matter what the share price is doing. Management has to go.

Will a right minded government of any nation allow the health and economic and social welfare and well being of some its most vulnerable citizens, i.e. DMD sufferers, be put into the hands of a bunch of free loaders whose purpose to date has been to serve their own self interests before anyone elses in the hope of becoming billionaires?

I'm guessing no. But you can never be sure about anything.

That might be why we haven't had a SSH notice or a please explain from ASX.

I watched a presentation mase by the CEO of ARK. She reckons there are five platforms of technology coming online which will leave anything developed in the last hundred or more years for dead in terms of impact on the world. That includes the digital age and the likes of MSFT, AAPL, GOOG, FB and Twitter. Will put them in the shade.

Can't imagine any government let alone just Trump is going to let that be owned privately without any controls over them. You really would have a Dr. Evil on your hands if it were the case.

So if Trump really is about MAGA and MAGA is to be achieved with technology then he has just a little bit less than a week to do it in. And, he didn't look very happy about losing his Twitter account so...what's he gonna do about it?

Just one week to go. Plus a day if you include time difference. Impeachment is never going to happen. Nor Article 25. Both of those are just political theatre. But does Trump have another card to play before its all over?
I'm betting he cancels the inauguration because of the security risk. At the very least he will have some kind of come back on Facebook and Twitter. And then why should it stop with just media?

If there is any kind of market correction on the back of Trump leaving office or some other unforeseen event yet to occur then a pullback to 12c is totally on the cards. That would form a classic head and shoulders. Most likely this would result in further price collapse with a target of about 6c.

How long has Junior been there for now? He may've moved the price but it is still nowhere near IPO price given the dilutuion and commercially he has been unable to achieve anything. Gotta wonder if Dad made a blunder.

Sarepta. Wants to buy. Of course. In my scenario, its the ultimate, ultimate holding company with which I am interested in. Check out the ALNY announcement today. ARK CEO reckons some genomics are gonna reach a trillion plus in market cap in the next five years. Is ANP gonna do that? What proprietary IP has it got?

The best thing going on for ANP is a healthy beta ratio. Derivative functions in my mind.

With the advent of all these vaccines and more to come there still has been no licencing deal announced with IP owners. I am not referring to just Moderna or Pfizer. There is the Russian one, the Chinese one and the Oxford and Astra Zeneca one with more to come. I don't buy the argument they are all proprietary. I am sure some aspect of each one is inlicenced from somewhere.
I have not seen any statement from JP Morgan on valuations for these companies being readjusted due to vaccine revenues. I am now wondering if they have held back on something and are going to release details of some transaction around the IP in time for their conference next week. It leaves just a few days.

Dirk pumping up NVAX because they are the opening show at the JPM conference next week. He neglects to mention there is more than one room for companies to present at, especially since its a virtual conference, and ALNY is holding their presentation at exactly the same time. First slot on Monday morning.
The strange thing for me though, is ALNY hasn't had anything to do with covid. Not said a thing about it, but the vaccine is a sirna based drug and ALNY are supposed to be the leaders in this field.
Don't know if BNTC is presenting or not.

An incredibly fascinating and interesting interview. This woman is one of the most successful investment managers around. Here, she interviews with an Australian journo and talks about things that are happening in Australia in the banking sector. Seldom do I believe these types of things are nothing more than puff pieces serving some form of marketing or ego massage. In this case, I don't doubt it may be part of a marketing campaign but no way is it an ego massage.

She talks about the five emerging technology platforms being overlaid into each other and the dynamics and scale of the change they can make.

I'm not sure it is anything new to a BLT follower but when she is talking about multi trillion dollar market caps, high growth and existing post IPO opportunities then for my money that brings BLT into sharp focus.

If the different platforms are intertwined with each other and other industries and banks are going to be disrupted, then it paves the way for a technology led keiretsu business model as I have advocated all along. Wouldn't be surprised if all the Au. biotechs got bought out by a single party like ALNY.

That would give everyone a fresh perspective instead having these freeloaders riding on everyone else's back.

With a new prime broker and a change of control you could be right...BUT...after twenty years of nothing but a downward trend I feel it will take more than that to get real punters on board. It's good if you are on payroll and can suck this thing dry though. Like they have.

The last minute compromise sets the stage for a vote on a Covid stimulus bill as soon as today.

With the dispute over the Fed provision resolved, a final agreement on the full coronavirus relief package was significantly closer, a senior Democratic aide told the WSJ late Saturday. Similarly, a senior House Democratic aide told The Hill that the Toomey deal sets the stage to iron out all the other less significant differences that had stalled the negotiations for weeks. "We expect remaining open items to fall into place overnight," the aide said.

Top Senate Democrat, Chuck Schumer, told reporters he thought both the House and Senate would be able to vote Sunday on the relief bill, which is expected to be combined with a spending bill needed to avoid a partial government shutdown. The government's current funding expires at 12:01 a.m. Monday.

"It looks like we'll be able to. If things continue on this path and nothing gets in the way, we'll be able to vote [Sunday]," Mr. Schumer said late Saturday night.

The republicans agreed: a spokesman for Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said early Sunday that now that the Fed dispute had been resolved, "we can begin closing out the rest of the package to deliver much-needed relief to families, workers, and businesses."

Couple of interesting developments today. MSB, a BLT ex-CEO's first port of call after she left BLT, went into a trading halt pending a "corporate update", and LCT, a metamorphosised ex-NZ biotech company with ties to Auckland University, jumped 14% on no news.
I don't know if the two are linked or even if BLT is involved but just seeing this activity is startling by itself to say the least.

BNTC held the AGM without ado. Are we to expect more of the same for next year?

I noticed ABUS up 30% overnight.

Anything to do with the vaccine I wonder since BLT was once involved with them and AZ.

One man holding up a life saving vaccine because he thinks he knows better than 23 of the greatest scientists and physicians in the world.

I don't think so somehow.

There must be parallel commercial discussions going on elsewhere and the Commissioner is in their pocket.

As soon as he says, permission granted, Pfizer step out of Merck v Integra safe harbour provisions and have to cough (a covid pun) up licensing fees and royalties.

Next week gonna be huge.

I see CSIRO and UQ have abandoned their vaccine project because of HIV symptoms.

Don't you wonder how HIV ends up in a corona virus?

I guess it's the wonder of nature. No way it could be an engineered outcome. That's just a preposterous notion.

Big question for me is, will the FDA do to the PFE vaccine application what they did to DNDN?

QUOTE
Covid vaccine: US experts recommend Pfizer vaccine approval
Medical experts advising the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) have recommended emergency approval for the Pfizer-BioNTech coronavirus vaccine.
The decision comes after a 23-member panel met to determine whether the drug's benefits outweigh the risks.

The Pfizer vaccine has already been approved for the public in the UK, Canada, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.

The drug still needs to be formally approved by the FDA's vaccine chief, which is expected in the coming days.

New kid on the block has some interesting Merck history given the ALNY fingerprints all over PYC. Merck were the only ones ALNY never picked a fight with and gave them what they wanted when they wanted it and the ALNY deal making man quit not so long ago.

Recently, Merck sold out of their MRNA holding. Its a big move to ditch out on Gates' Foundation and US military plus others of note.
I wonder if they are going to make a move on ALNY and let PYC wither.

Also curious about the settlement times in the systems at NZX and Computershare. How can they be accurate when its changing everyday. Though I do notice the fee days lag between recorded and reported dates.

QUOTE
Why is Rehypothecation bad?
In effect, rehypothecated assets become part of a daisy chain, for lack of a better term, wherein one company's liabilities become another's assets. If there is a hiccup anywhere in the chain, the effect is one of instant collateral collapse as everybody in the chain is forced to buy back, or recall, their assets.

PYC pumptards on HC have really gone underground. That's usually a good sign on HC. Tonight they make their virtual presentations in Boston. The hotbed of Eastern seaboard biotech and where Huey opened the US office over his dining room table.

What is interesting, and what I haven't seen before is the call for investment meetings.

There must be a back story to this. Especially with Huey leaving so abruptly and the placement to the mystery insto in the last cap. raising. Now I read PFE are supplying the UK this week or next with their Covid vaccine. PFE were once another one of PYC's big name clients that paid a million bucks for rights and then disappeared without another word. I wonder if the investment meetings is all about licencing for the vaccine or if there is a buyout on the table. Perhaps we will get a new cornerstone holder a'la Morphosys and Novartis and the mystery insto is just the middle man for them.

We shall see what this week brings but I am now hopeful of finally something happening.

Todays news says new shares have been issued to the CEO as part of his remuneration package in lieu of salary.

Wouldn't mind betting he has every intention of selling them to get the cash.

In a thin market the share price isn't going to be able to hold up to that new volume.
And its not like Junior doesn't know this.

I'm sure MRNA were supposed to have reported their top line daya by now.

Main MRNA shareholders include MRK, Bill Gates and the US military. The Commander in Chief is Trump.

If Trump wants to MAGA, then he would've wanted this done by Thanksgiving. Instead, its going to be Xmas. That way its more of a global thing.

I think the MRNA data is going to be mind blowing.

Markets are closed in the US for Thanksgiving now. No new news on vaccines, licencing deals or anything else out of the US.
That can only mean, as I have said year upon year now, the Americans are the not the ones bossing the Covid thing. Still no US-EU FTA either. So the ones bossing it have to be the Europeans or the Chinese. I say the Chinese because of some papers put out by them recently and the fact that after the Wuhan thing, its all gone quiet.

As they say, it is darkest before dawn. I reckon dawn could be New Years Eve.

Yeah. I don't think he has the desire to hang on to power through killing the way Hilary did. I believe he believes he had a job to do for America and that job is done. He will hand over power without argument because before he does, we will see what that job was. IMHO it was to break the pharma chains people are held in by those companies amongst many others.

Like the mini-nuke in Lebanon. Before it he stated, peace through overwhelming force. Afterwards, peace deals all through the middle East. Fancy that!
Everyone reckoned Hilary was going to jail. Along with Comey and a bunch of others. They are still free to walk the streets and dine in the restaurants BLM groups are hijacking.

Moderna will charge governments between $25 and $37 per dose of its COVID-19 vaccine candidate, depending on the amount ordered, Chief Executive Stephane Bancel told German weekly Welt am Sonntag (WamS).
"Our vaccine therefore costs about the same as a flu shot, which is between $10 and $50," he was quoted as saying.

On Monday, an EU official involved in the talks said the European Commission wanted to reach a deal with Moderna for the supply of millions of doses of its vaccine candidate for a price below $25 per dose.

"Nothing is signed yet, but we're close to a deal with the EU Commission. We want to deliver to Europe and are in constructive talks," Bancel told WamS, adding it was just a "matter of days" until a contract would be ready.

Moderna has said its experimental vaccine is 94.5% effective in preventing COVID-19, based on interim data from a late-stage clinical trial, becoming the second developer to report results that far exceeded expectations after Pfizer and its partner BioNTech.

The EU has been in talks with Moderna for its experimental COVID-19 vaccine at least since July. (Reporting by Christoph Steitz; Editing by Mark Potter)

Most interesting for me was the first speaker after Trump when he declares Pfizer has applied for EUA to the FDA for their vaccine. Now it is all down to the FDA as to whether they come out of their safe harbour or not. If they do, who's the big weinner?

Unfortunately, I am reminded of the DNDN story. Sometimes things don't happen at the FDA the way you would expect them to.

Either PYCs EET patent is a part of it or it isnt.

If TPP was concluded ages ago albeit without the Americans and now more recently, the Americans have renegotiated their NAFTA agreement while the CHinese have signed on with RCEP, then the only regional FTA not restructured, reworked or altered in some form is the US-EU one.

Perhaps that is the hold up. Especially since Brexit is in the mix as well.

I find it strange how MRNA and Pfizer can be the leaders in covid vaccines using a siRNA technology while ALNY isnt even on the radar.

If ALNY is to remain the worlds leading gene therapy company they're going to have to get a piece of whatever Pfizer and Moderna have.

Don't know about Au. but years ago OECD put out a report saying NZ was cutting its nose off to spite itself by being a low tax nation. They then held up the teal estate industry as the lowest taxed sector relative to value in the world.

No prizes for guessing their recommendations were to increase taxes.

When that happens, watch out for the banks. Its just like the Japanese bubble economy of the eighties.

Craig Ventner mapped the human genome for about a billion bucks and took something like ten years. In about ten years or less, your GP will be able to map your genome on the spot with a hand held cassette and then email the results to the lab for the appropriate medication.

You can't stop progress.

That's why the Great Global Covid Reset is all about the state chiselling into the private sector. They want their cut. No different from the Gambinos, Genoveses and the other families.

Trump must get pissed off when he sees all these young IT kids with more money and power than him.

Funny how doctors recommend people over a certain age take aspirin for blood thinning purposes so as to avoid heart attacks and such like when it can damage my liver.

Then after all that, you're still gonna die of something.

The deal is done. Nobody can with full sincerity believe a deal like this gets done without American involvement. Remember the sticking point in TPP? It was biologic and IP data. Which goes back to Obama declaring America was having a biotech Sputnik moment.

This will be why China congratulated Biden. Lets see if Trump concedes this week. Or the next few. But most importantly, lets see if we get a deal on the back of the Pfizer and soon to be released Covid data.

So the ex-Chair of this pig leaves, goes to another pig called TRS who have spent years searching for a reverse takeover target (which isn't that hard to find) and now at his new pig digs he's started issuing shares to his mates. Hundreds of millions of them for a tiny fraction of a cent.

Now if that doesn't tell you that NZF is on the outer of whatever is cooking, then nothing will.

Strange goings on with the SSH notices. One day, JPM buys out Citi's holdings and then immediately sells a stake the next day.

But if Citi are gone after all these years then perhaps we are finally going to see some real commercial activity under JPM's aegis.

A vaccine for Covid will leave PYC in a very vulnerable place. Early stage development with a shite capital structure and in need of more cash a bit later rather than sooner.

Therefore the news overnight that Pfizer have a vaccine for covid is not good news for PYC.

Perhaps the real issue isn't who wins and who loses the election but more to do with the parameters and boundaries of what constitutes a democracy.

I genuinely believe those parameters were getting disrupted and changed under Obama and we will see political leadership return to the mean. The final result renders the difference between the parties about the same size as a cigarette paper thickness.

It's a case of, goodbye Donald, everyone else, as you were. The real power shifts have occurred in the Middle East and the financial markets. And now its over. Just watch for the next BCCI. IMHO, that's Citigroup. If it is, then it couldn't have happened to a nicer bunch of assholes.

Did Trump make promises he had no intention of keeping? First thing he did was throw away the TPP manual. Then he sought a bi-lateral trade agreement with China. Nobody knows how that has gone. Maybe the Americans aren't holding up their end in it. Or something else altogether.

The HC pumptards don't half make me laugh. The techno babble and details are fine and certainly do make the tard look like he knows what he is talking about. But nobody ever mentions ARWR and their EET. Gee. I wonder why.

It was ARWR who had every single trial across the world kaiboshed by the FDA save for the one they had just started in NZ at Auckland Hospital which is a part of Auckland University Medical School basically. Including their research department.

Now, I remember Enumerate saying he had just run into OMD outside Auckland University in the street and had a really good conversation with him. This is when PYC were saying OMD was hard at work in the basement lab in Perth. But maybe it was actually in one of those buildings in Symonds St.

Put it altogether, and it is not a wild guess to say ARWR are working with PYC and their EET peptides at Auckland University Hospital and conducting trials with it.

But what would I know?

It is difficult to believe what I am seeing. The sectors which I follow are just still and stagnant. Not taking a breather. More like edging to the abyss and waiting for the ground to fall apart underneath it.

This could be because of the US elections. It could be because of something much more.
