I dont think it does.9% first up so any suitor now has to cough up and soon if they are serious and will need to talk to another big player in the sandpit.
9% is a big stake but not a road block to takeover yet.
2 lines in the sand. One on price the other a timeframe.

This stock is only going one way in the short term and thats up.
Look at the chart, EOD traders will eat this up on the open.
In my opinion.

Yup - I can see that you're really on top of things with regard to Summit. You really have the facts nailed down tight there.... devilsmiley.gif

I seem to recall a lot of people saying "Sell and take the profits" the day they announced the Paladin bid and they spiked to $5.12. Then they sagged, and now we're up to $5.80.

OK - so I sell now, then wait and see what the next move is? Yes? Yeah, right - next stop should be about $6.20-ish, until Areva buy their second allotment at $7.20, which in turn should push the SMM price up to - oh, about $6.75.

Then of course there are the unknowns like other parties joining in the fray, just like Areva was produced out of the blue today. Who saw that coming?

Nope - way too much possible upside to sell now, since I've been holding them since 16 cents. I can wait a bit longer - I have patience. A short-term sag-back doesn't worry me with this stock.

SMM with a present sp of over $6.--, a joke for a simple exploration company with production to be in years to come, if they are lucky, i would take profits right now..............
PDN will make good money when the french have to buy out their interests in SMM.......well done PDN........but sell SMM now.........IMHO......

Areva will be appointed to market two thirds of SMM share of uranium products from its Aus projects.
Areva will also be engaged to provide technical consulting services to SMM.
Other SMM shareholders do not have these very commercially advantageous benefits included with their shares----so the question is: what are these arrangements that other shareholders don't have worth? ---if one could ascertain that we would know the true price they are paying for their shares.

Interesting times indeed! My gut reaction is that this is an outstanding outcome - couldn't have had a better birthday present!

Big upside potential in the share price, HUGE legitimacy! We've gone from a prospector sitting on a heap of stuff the government wouldn't let us dig up to a partner in the world's biggest U player! Are you still of a mind to block this, Premier Pete?

No-one picked Areva, did they hee hee! biggrin.gif
