Thanks Nerk. My "Say Thanks" button not working.

Were there many at the AGM? Hopefully others will be able to give us interstaters some feed back.

Thanks again

I'd assumed it's be taken from the magic ingredient - poly prenol. No idea on the ica.

I'm sure it will be explained at the EGM

"the fact is this entire industry is about to be rationalized"

Plastic

I presume you are talking about Russia

I missed that announcement, can you please supply a link?

I occassionally browse the BLT thread, where you post regularly. Are your regular takeover or rationalization predictions ever accurate?

Clever advert, suprised they didn't notice the flaw in their logic.

If you use a computer etc, it creates polution because it's run by polluting electricty production, but if you plug an electric car into a power point magically the production of electricity for the cars use dosen't create pollution.

Mind you, French logic is often a little difficult to follow

ASX computer couldn't cope if all shares opened at same time, so they are staggered over a 10minute gap, in alphabetical order.
S is part of group 5.

The message was just letting you know that the trading halt had been lifted and shares would trade from their normal starting time.

Leo must have cashed out of the Bejjal super fund. Bejjal Pty Ltd is trustee of the fund.

APRA rules require that, if a company trustee, all members must be directors of the company & all directors must be members of the fund.

If not company trustee, all members must be trustees of the fund & all trustees must be members of fund.

I wonder ASX and the BPO auditor will look closely at any changes in holdings.

Even allowing that judge Jacobsen will have other cases running and he may be a very slow typist, if he has taken 7 months and not handed down a decision, my guess he is not trying to work out who won, but how much compensation the plaintiff gets.

Oops, I've just realised that DA was signed in August 07, but Charlie didn't become director until 2008, however

When BPO announced the heads of agreement on 16 April 2007 they stated at point 5:

"All of Solagran’s Bioeffectives are obtained from a patented extraction process – the feedstock source for which is the green foliage from plantation timber felled in the course of commercial forestry production. This provides a virtually unlimited supply of low cost materials."

Seems they had been advised of the patent status

I doubt BPO can argue that they didn't know that SLA had a patented extraction method and not a patent on CGNC, they only had to ask their director, Charlie Pelligrino, who was a former SLA director.

From my memory of corporate law, if a director knows something, the company also knows it.

They can't claim that a statement deceived them if they knew that the statement was wrong.

Sorry orangeguy, it is the contract date, which is when you accept the offer.

Even though the offer is still conditional, it is the acceptance date, so if you want to shift gains into next year wait til after 1 July before accepting.

Make sure you keep a photocopy of signed dated acceptance, just in case you are checked.

I've been in CBH since the Redfire days & I can't remember Magma being spun off.

They spun off Kimberley Metals a couple of years ago, but that is still unlisted.

Good luck

From the Banksia Foundation website re the Eco Innovation Award

The Banksia judging process aims to identify and celebrate the best of the best, in terms of how they contribute to a more sustainable Australia. This year Banksia judges chose 3 nominations as worthy of recognition as finalists from the number of submissions in the eco innovation category. After lengthy consideration, and on the basis of the material presented, the judges have not declared a winner this year.

The judges commended the three finalists for their commitment and enthusiasm and encourage them to continue with their efforts.

You're error probably comes from the entering the sp.
Each INL cost .015 dollars x 142,226,682 = $2,133,400.23

Hope that helps

Hi Boomer

Mr Elvish must have fronted up with his cash

Extract from 3B Notice of share issued

"1. Share Purchase Plan and associated Placement as set out in the ASX announcement dated 30 April 2009.

2. $22,000 consideration for consulting services in Newcastle provided to Intec Ltd by Evermoore

Environmental Services Pty Ltd.

3. $138,302.72 consideration for Chinese representative services provided to Intec Ltd by Chung Tin Holdings

Pty Ltd"

Evermore & Chung Tin both show show in new Top 200.

Joe Lam must be fairly confident of Intec future as well, now has 9,220,181 shares.

I guess you also hope, that by taking up their full rights entitlements, Ivanhoe may be showing more interest in INL than just a passive investment.

br
from the LTR prospectus

The Strelley Project is located about 20 kilometres south east of Port Hedland, Western Australia and consists of three tenements covering the strike extension and area surrounding CBH’s Sulphur Springs copper zinc project.

The tenements, granted exploration licences EL45/2393, EL45/2474 and EL45/2556, encompass an area of 94 square kilometres are prospective for Archean VHMS style zinc, copper, lead, silver and gold deposits, with potential footwall or hangingwall
related gold and silver mineralisation. Potential for Archaean lode gold mineralisation is also present. The tenements are subject to a purchase agreement whereby LTR will acquire a 00% interest from UEQ.

LTR has subsequently entered into an agreement with certain parties, including a subsidiary of CBH, to sell the Strelley Project, conditional upon receipt of Ministerial Consent. If Ministerial Consent is not received and the sale is not completed, LTR will need to develop an appropriate exploration program and budget sufficient to meet the annual expenditure requirements set by the Department of Industry and Resources of Western Australia, which are currently $78,000.

Roger

Your comment about PW dumping INL made me curious about how many he'd dumped, so I looked thru the change notices.

Guess how many he's sold since May 2002.

NIL.

In fact the only sale by a director I found was last month when Rodgers sold 450,000 and a week later converted 450,000 options. As I was concentrating on PW, I may have missed some sales by other directors, but I don't think so.

Unfortunately I didn't note how many he's bought over the 5 years

Hopefully you can now get over your obsession with directors selling INL

Goodluck

Hi From,

Capital Gains is based on the contract date, not the settlement date, so you must wait until 1 July before selling to make CGT payable in 2008.

Reb,
For 2007 tax year, at least 10% of your income must be from an employer to qualify for the co contribution. From 1 July self employed will also be entitled to co contribution.

Hi Mosaic,

I was referring to the discount that applies to any individual disposing of any asset held for more than 12 months. Even if the shop is part of a bigger business, CGT applies on disposal and the concession is available.

I suspect that you are thinking about the retirement concession, which is one of the small business CGT concessions.

You are right, we don't have nearly enough information, and if the SB CGT concessions apply, they are far to complex to deal with here.

regards

Hi Crystal,

CGT applies on the disposal of your shop, unless an exemption or reduction can be used.

If the shop is a rental property, it is not an active asset, so the small business CGT concessions do not apply.

If you also run the business from the shop, small business CGT concession should apply.

If you have owned the property for more than 12 months, the 50% discount will apply.

If you are self employed or not receiving employer super support, you can claim a tax
deduction for the contributions, but the fund must pay tax at 15% on the deductable amount.

This could be very complex is a company or a trust is involved.

Speak to your accountant.

CGT rules do not change at 30 June.

Good luck

If you are a trader, it depends if, for tax purposes, you account on an accruals basis or are in STS. Accruals is transaction date, STS uses settlement.
From memory to be classed as a trader the ATO expects you to have had about 50 buys and 50 sells in the year.
This is a complicated issue. Speak to your accountant.

Hi Sil
Im an accountant. If you are an investor. so subject to capital gains, the correct date is the date of the contract, for buying and selling not the settlement date.
Be warned, the ATO checks share sales around 30 june to ensure they are reported on tax returns.
If you are a trader, speak to your accountant.
Personally I'm hanging on to my ox
