Hi All, Another deposit of HREE, Seems to have been generally overlooked by the market today amidst the general carnage.

Too late if you are still delving. A trading halt is now in place.

Come Thursday or sooner we might see a doubling in this stock because they are on the brink of revealing just a bit more to the market.

Indeed, and partly because of it they have been moving under the radar of the mainstream market. Their Canadian partner, PanContinental has been doing rather well on the TSX and I suspect one of the reasons why is a better informed market

Nonetheless, CUX is still a sleeper on the brink of advancing a more complete study of these apparently large and easy to get at Rare Earth deposits. Bearing in mind, they started with a principal focus on Uranium in the NT, and their Uranium prospects looks pretty good too. The Rare Earth finds came out of the blue, and it seems they are not connected to the Uranium, so it is more of a focus shift.

Anyway it looks as if their initial study is now on the brink of being made public. Given they indicated it would be about now

It appears that Crossland has been somewhat remiss in posting their ASX announcements on their website. Google shows the following at: http://www.proactiveinvestors.com.au/compa...reek-11289.html.

Also, the ASX site at http://www.asx.com.au/asx/statistics/announcements.do has all of CUX's announcements.

Crossland Uranium Mines returns 39% total rare earth oxide at Charley Creek
Monday, November 01, 2010

Heavy minerals containing rare earth elements (REE) have been identified in extensive alluvial deposits at the Crossland Uranium Mines (ASX: CUX) Charley Creek Project in the Northern Territory.

A heavy mineral concentrate from a sample of stream channel alluvium returned high values for REE, (39% total rare earth oxide), with particularly high proportions of the heavy REE, including gadolinium , terbium and dysprosium.

Crossland's said these oxides are present in phosphate minerals, which should be readily processed using available REE extraction technology.

A substantial tonnage potential for REE-bearing alluvium in various settings is evident from exploration techniques already developed and applied in the area.

An initial development objective for stand-alone development would be production of a saleable REE-rich heavy mineral concentrate at a rate of several thousand tonnes per annum.

Crossland's said the permitting and capital costs of such an operation should be relatively low.

Interesting there has been no discussion on this stock, given the developments with Rare Earth finds of late
