Hi Nkosi
If your using closing price only for the resis line, then yes.
I use intraday/week extremities also. I don't hold fast to EXACT points for resis or supp either. It can be in the close vicinity of a strategic number.
I think this is also more of a ranging market than a breakout one.
Cheers

Hi Hungry,

At $6.85 RIV is through resistance on a weekly basis. There has not been a close above 6.60 since 3 October 2008, a few more days to go to close the week though. Volume looks to be about average for the week with three days to go - here's hoping.

I have a few but will add if it carries on.

Cheers.

Yes Wolv
It had another good day. It's at a critical resis point now on the wkly chart. On the 4th attempt to break it.
You'll find out very shortly if it's going to break it or retrace to support again.
In a bull market I would be confident of a breakout but in the current atmosphere, I have some doubts.
Good luck with it. I'm on the sideline. I might have had a daytrade today if I was about, but was away for most of it, up the coast visiting another trading mate.
Cheers

$6.85 just under the highs of the day. Seems like it wants to go higher Hungry.

I'm out of all (st) long positions on commodity stocks atm. Short on a few.
The rallying USD has em rattled.
RIV is giving me no clue as to the next direction. The recent candles show rejection of lower prices, but no vol to follow through & drive the sp up.
In a small pennant atm, so waiting for the break to see which way it will be.
