The land holdings were fragmented for decades. Alderan founders have been negotiating for years to consolidate all the holdings under one umbrella. The drilling will ultimately determine fair value.

Thanks cooderman.

I guess sometimes, someone has to expose. If not, some poor bugger will be caught out.

Hi Blacksheep. You have credibility on this forum, why would you bother giving this ticker air time.

Best left to the Rampers and the rest of us can ignore it.

Didn't the previous owners identify this? Makes you wonder why they sold a (valued on another forum) "US$3 billion" company for a song wacko.gif Sounds like a Glencore t/o rumour in the making.

Attended the AL8 lunch presentation today. Left the lunch and bought a few more. Those copper targets are mindboggling in size. They plan to run multiple drill rigs for the next two years. Weather in Utah is ok to drill all year round. The outcropping hanging walls with visible copper are not something you see often.

Not sure how to read this - is DB backing/promoting AL8 in the hope of securing future business (commissions on CR's) or are they excited about the project. Hopefully it's the latter.

Deutsche Bank backs copper hopeful Alderan Resources
The Australian2:05PM September 11, 2017
QUOTE
It’s not often you see one of the big investment banks link up with a junior resources play barely three months old, but Data Room can reveal that heavyweight Deutsche Bank is behind the investor roadshow that appears to be putting a rocket under copper hopeful Alderan Resources.

Alderan (AL8), which only listed on the ASX in June after raising $8.5m through an IPO led by boutique group BW Equities, has been the best-performed IPO of the year as its shares have soared from 20c to a fresh high yesterday of $1.55.

The surge has taken its market capitalisation to just over $140m, significant for the junior end of the market but still below the sort of level that would normally be required to catch the attention of one of the big investment banks. The company’s exploration work is still in its infancy, having just started drilling at its Frisco copper project in Utah.

Deutsche’s interest, however, is likely to stem from the involvement of Tolga Kumova, the former stockbroker behind graphite success story Syrah Resources (SYR). While Kumova isn’t on the board of Alderan, he is the group’s major shareholder and is seen as closely linked to the company’s management.

While at Syrah, Kumova was responsible for not one but two big equity raisings through Credit Suisse. Maybe Deutsche see similar long-term raising potential in Alderan?

The Deutsche roadshow, which will put Alderan in front of investors in Sydney and Melbourne, appeared to be working well for Alderan today. At 2.22pm (AEST), Alderan shares were up by more than 13 per cent at $1.50 and a re on track to close at a record high

When I see these types of posts (see pic below) made on HC, it reminds me of the early SYR days of rocket ships and infinity beyond charts, and I see red flags.

The project should do the talking - i.e., drilling results.

The hype that is going on on HC with all of the projects he is involved with is astounding. By all accounts, we are going to have another 10 or more projects the size of BHP - all thanks to one man who apparently has the midas touch.

Presently a great trading stock - punters should be careful it doesn't get ahead of itself. A recent example of a stock getting ahead of itself was A3D - after reaching a lofty height of $5.39 it's now back around the same price it was during the first few weeks after IPO.

It's still cheap IMO. Got in at IPO then topped up on market as price rose.

Defying logic?

Market cap now 73 mil

Market is expecting drilling results from Frisco - high impact exploration program commenced as per 28/6/2017 ann.

Rather a meteoric rise, IMHO, which could reward some early investors, but then again might leave some holders holding an overvalued stock.

Up 13.24% - 77c - 72k shares traded.
