Gina Hancock's Hancock Prospecting invests a further $7.8m

Catalyst Metals Limited (Catalyst or the Company) (ASX: CYL) is pleased to advise that Gold Exploration
Victoria Pty Ltd (GEV) (a wholly owned subsidiary of Hancock Prospecting Pty Ltd and Joint Venture
Partner on the Four Eagles Gold Project
) has agreed to subscribe for a $7.875 million placement of
Catalyst shares at a subscription price of $2.25 per share.

The placement comprises 3,500,000 ordinary fully paid shares at a subscription price of $2.25 per share
and is being made pursuant to ASX Listing Rule 7.1. No Catalyst shareholder approval is required for
the placement.

Proceeds from the share placement will strengthen the Company’s working capital position and enable
it to continue to move forward with its advanced projects at the Four Eagles Gold Project and Tandarra
Gold Project and to continue to pursue aggressive exploration programmes in the Whitelaw Gold Belt
north of Bendigo and adjacent belts north of the Fosterville and Inglewood goldfields.

The subscription price represents a discount of approximately 9.6% to the 20 day volume weighted
average price of the Company’s shares prior to the date of the subscription agreement.

Don't know about a "fight" but the treat of all that stock being dumped seems to have been
taken care of.

If it had been dumped we would off course seen there shares fall but we would also probably seen a drawn out period to regain crediblity and investor interest. In over words probably a negative plateau and low liquidity for a while.

I take it you mean that because there was a big parcel available there was a 'fight' to get hold of all the stock. Certainly says something about CYL in that case.

Since no-one seems getting back to you on this Rooster, yes, the options can be 'converted' to shares for 20c any time up to December 2008.
The options are also tradeable as themselves and sales have been around 10c each for CYLO.
With the CYL being about 27c, that's a combined value near peak and lots more upside. Did you see the visible moly they drilled in the last release?
CYL - the Cudeco of the moly world? : )))

Alright, so i have filled out the request for options form and paid my 0.01 cent per option. Does this mean that when they are granted, I can convert them to ordinary shares at any time by paying 20 cents a share up until the expiry date?
