RCI have sold at up to 29c today. Is someone else interested enough to make a counter-offer or is it just speculation that this may be the case?

Either way, I'm hanging in for the ride.

Jindal Steel and Power to make an on market bid at 25c for the company.

Executive chairman Benny Wu holds over 50% so I guess he's the key to this.

Disc: I hold (considerably less).

I can't figure this company out!

Executive chairman holds around 54% of the shares! Yes, 54%!

The coke business in China is unspectacular, to say the least, and interest in the stock centres on its Queensland coal interests. A couple of tentative takeover bids came to nothing in recent times.

I hold a few but don't have a lot of confidence that someone will eventually make an acceptable offer. Saying that, though, today's jump in the SP may indicate something's afoot.

Time for a revisit here.
Seems the new CEO has generated some interest with a vol spike on the 20/12/10 just before the appointment.
Since then it has a HL & now a HH today with an opening gap up, albeit hasn't closed yet, it does appear by the current market depth that it will rally from here.
Cheers

Yeah true. Nice again the director's buying at these levels. Probably should anyway seeming he sold a heap at 42 cents! Still has my interest and quite honestly an offer for around 45 to 50 cents would do me fine since I've dramatically increased my holding at the current levels. biggrin.gif

One of only a few on my watchlist in the green!

I should add considering its dropped more than 50% in the past month a few % up is no biggy...but even to at least hold its ground today, it would be doing well blink.gif
