On the 16th of January the receiver said he will make the final payment for the Tenon liquidation within the next month.

If you go from the 16th of January to the 16th of February as the measure for his month he has already failed in his undertaking.

If you allow him some grace and go to the end of this month, then he has two more full days before he has missed his undertaking.

Considering this guy is the second guy to have a crack with the same job and making the same promises you have to wonder what is so different and difficult about this liquidation.

Remember the NBR was accusing then Rubicon, now Arborgen with impropriety over the structure of the pay out. Which is quite on the nose when you consider governance is the thing Hughie prides himself on. Look out if he and Lukie Luke get busted for riding rough over those laws.

Two days to go. Let's hope it happens and Junior can point to his performance from now on mantra as a real thing and the liquidator can remain credible.

Two weeks. But who's really counting.

It's only going to end in disappointment anyway.

Nice to see Arborgen active in the community. If the two company one policy thing was active they'd be doing the same here. Maybe GE regulations forbid it though. Or maybe, they have no intention of ever being active in the NZ community.

Bet you anything you like this liquidator will be as effectual and successful as his mate.

It's obvious Junior is there for the ride.

The two company thing is part of a undeclared strategy which may be to the detriment of shareholders. There must be a good reason why Hughie n Lukie Luke bailed after all those years. They're going to want some distance between them and the upcoming disaster is my guess. That way they can just blame Junior.

Let's see what develops but make sure you take a raincoat with you.

This is going to put the billion tree planting programme to shame. Has to be good for Arborgen though. Still can't figure out the two company one strategy thing. If all the value is in the subsidiary then why can't they let the shareholders have access to the value and potential upside?

Make that three weeks.

Considering the subsidiary of this company, Arborgen, the one which shareholders have no legal recourse to make a claim on the assets of, is supposed to be the most scientifically advanced forestry genetics company in the world, it is scarcely believable that it has no public listing of its own and its parent is majority owned by a single individual whose son is at the helm of. And, according to some, for no other reason except Dad is a drinking buddy of Lukie Luke.

Even the worldly wise on Sharetrader haven't got anything to say. Which is a statement of its own.

Nevertheless, on Jan. 16th, the new liquidator filed his report for Tenon. He reckons, the final payment will be made to its shareholders by the end of Feb.
That's only five and a half weeks away.

Hope this guy's expectations, anticipations, hopes and promises are a little bit better than his mates. It was always next month with him as well.

Must be a couple of ex-staffers who are totally pissed they settled for a holding they can't sell. Unless they are expecting something.
The final payment from Tenon is still pending I see. If it never goes ahead it might be curtains for Arborgen Holdings Ltd. Perhaps its contingent on selling Arborgen on the cheap to a more credible entity.

As another year draws to a close it's clear Junior really has that performance thing down pat; he emulates a dead duck perfectly.
