The Thomson Corporation , listed on NYSE, symbol TOC( from which one of its divisions - Thomson Scientific Ltd - wrote the report on two emerging coy's from the asia-pacific PYC being one, in context with the very recent BIO world congress ) had revenues in 2004 of U.S $8.1 BILLION.

So we are talking about a substantial coy which also has many subscribers around the world.
This report on PYC is in contrast with others coy's that have PAID for their report themselves from much smaller 'research' groups, and thus adds gravitas to it's findings.

The Chairman of PYC is an ex President of Bristol- Myers Squibb, Europe.

Hi folks,

One for the watchlist .....

..... in fact, PYC went down further than our
expected low at .15, then bouncing off 12 cents ..... !~!

Updated PYC cycles ahead:

12082005 ..... minor ... positive

16082005 ..... minor ... negative ..... (?)

16-19092005 ... 2 cycles = very positive news???

2609-07102005 ..... this looks HUGE for PYC,
particularly 30092005-03102005 ... major
change in direction/management ..... ?????

happy days

Fair point......i have the same approach for 95% of my trading......very occasionally i like the story enough to trust my judgement by pre-empting the market. But only on rare ocassions.I take small positions initially that can be added to if i am right, or stopped out without drama.
cheers

I rather see a real breakout before getting in. That is to exceed its initial IPO price. Of course if you entered early and then it moved up, you had done extremely well.

However, the risk is still high at this level, and not attracting much interest from buyers.

I'll take a wait and see approach.

Cheers

Thanks CM28.Yes true, chartwise too early, but that U.S thomson report was pretty compelling, and from hardly any bids at all on the screen , to now 400t at the 16.5......some of my best trades have been from taking early positions, but stops always of course.
cheers

Its still below the IPO price of 20 cents though. I wouldn't be too excited about the sentiment yet.

Good luck if you hold.

I was tempted to buy in after the Thomson report, but lack of interest in pyc kept me at bay, as a close watcher. If, and i repeat , if, this report triggers overseas buying, then i will jump back on.I did very well on it's run up previously.PYC must have been dissapointed with the lack of interest in the ann. as they repeated it...again to no effect. So often AUS will jump on quickly at news/ rumours of overseas buying in smalls, but not take the lead. A rampant U3O8/energy sector takes a lot of eyeballs away from almost everything else atm!
