From the quarterly

[with a strong balance sheet and significant cash reserves 3.2 mill ]

Bit rich suggesting 3.2 mill is significant

Interesting to see who swoops on puffin could be a positive for NWE worth keeping an eye on volume there

What an epic journey AED have been on was good for a trade back in the day but looks like the final curtain call unless they can produce another miricle.

Cheers

QUOTE
well, part of it had been paid to shareholder as special dividend....

That large divi seemed a bit irresponsible at the time, given their drilling commitments and any potential development expenditure.

In hindsight, its the only smart thing they've done.

all gone, no more.

GL to every holders.

As stated before, I was out a few weeks/months back. Just a case of lucky to be out.

Totally disappointed.

AED requests the suspension from quotation to remain in place until the later of:

1. a formal announcement being made to the market regarding the above matters; and
2. commencement of trading on Thursday 11 August 2011.

Great timing !

Guess it will be option 1 ....... lol

Something is not quite right here Directors bought nearly 6 million shares 3 weeks ago and Sprott poured money in at the same time I would say they would have been fairly informed on this court case

Sinopec may average down on Puffin ......lol

I'm sure they wouldn't be paying $400 mil for the remaining 40%. Nor would anyone else imo

Looks like the claim against AED is $73mil USD payable within 30 days & costs still to be determined.

http://seaproduction.no/media/Sea_Producti...August_2011.pdf

I'm assuming AED only liable for 40% but that is probably too much for them to be able to cough up.

They will definatley have to fire sale their Puffin interest or its curtains i'm afraid. No more rabbits left in the hat, they pulled that on Sinopec a few years ago.
