It seems France has approved Scenesse since it’s not going to have an annual impact
greater than 20 million Euros. This document was published today on www.has-santé.fr

Nothing has changed though. Games will be played and viruses will become pandemic. What can you do other then HOLD and ACCUMULATE and HOPE because the drug itself is revolutionary and will change the world one day when the irrational fears are erased with a basic understanding.

Were creeping ever so slowly towards Scenesse full acceptance and every day that goes by only strengthens the case for widespread usage of Scenesse sometime in the not too distant future for the ultimate cancer preventative photo protection which was the original goal many many decades ago. Such a simple, noble goal.

The question Im always left wondering is: will Scenesse ever reach the vast majority of EPP communities around the world before the patents run out and technological advancements render it totally useless (genetic modification comes to mind).

Just kidding about the genetic modification but it’s entirely possible that by the time the roadblocks, ignorance and big $$$ resistance cease impacting this safe drugs uptake and complete acceptance the generics will get a free run like Scenesse should have had at least 5 Fing years ago.

That would be soooooo F ing infuriating!

There’s absolutely no doubt that Scenesse will one day be used by many millions to protect their skin from UVR overexposure the only question is will it be Clinuvel that benefits the most financially after all the effort and time they’ve put into this great project like they justly should?

Regulator ignorance, bias, and stubborn resistance to Scenesse are the primary reasons behind this glacial journey. The evidence should be clear to all by now.

CLINUVEL EXPANDS SINGAPORE LABORATORIES
The Singapore Economic Development Board awards R&D grant to CLINUVEL’s fully owned subsidiary VALLAURIX ________________________________________________________________________________
____________________________________________________

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
• CLINUVEL investing in further expansion of VALLAURIX R&D facilities in Singapore
• The Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB) supports VALLAURIX with up to A$547,000
• New VALLAURIX laboratories to operate under ISO17025 and GLP and open 1 July 2020 ________________________________________________________________________________
___________________________________________________

Melbourne, Australia and Singapore, 24 February 2020
CLINUVEL PHARMACEUTICALS LTD today announced that it is investing in the further expansion of its facilities in Singapore with new state of the art and expanded laboratories to open 1 July 2020. The research and development capacity of its wholly owned subsidiary, VALLAURIX PTE LTD, will be expanded through both a new biological and analytical laboratory, which will work according to both ISO17025 and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) specifications. CLINUVEL is adding new highly skilled local personnel to its existing team and specialised technical laboratory equipment to further enhance the progress of its product pipeline.

EDB SUPPORTS VALLAURIX EXPANSION PLAN
CLINUVEL is pleased that VALLAURIX has received support of its expansion plan from the EDB with an award under their Research Incentive Scheme for Companies (RISC). This is part of the Government of Singapore’s incentives to assist Singaporean businesses to develop their research capacity to advance high valued technologies. The award is up to S$500,000 (A$547,000) over 3 years.

COMMENTARY
“As part of establishing a diversified pharmaceutical company we are injecting substantial funding to accelerate our R&D output. The decision to expand VALLAURIX’s laboratories in Singapore had hinged on the FDA’s grant of marketing authorisation in October 2019 of SCENESSE® (afamelanotide 16mg)1, since this outcome provided our team the ultimate seal of approval for the family of melanocortins.” CLINUVEL’s CEO, Dr Philippe Wolgen said. “We are steadily establishing the infrastructure of CLINUVEL providing for both organic and inorganic growth with the ultimate objective to unveil multiple offerings.”
“The economic history and achievements of Singapore demonstrate how this outstanding nation wishes to further both its technological knowhow and scientific aptitude. The Government of Singapore looks for opportunities to increase the country’s GDP through enhanced economic and scientific output and in this context, the EDB’s financial support of our innovation in new chemical entities and novel medicines is most appreciated,” Dr Wolgen said.

END QUOTE.

You guys realize that even Scenesses acceptance in the broader community in Australia, US, europe for example wouldn’t stop people from using sunscreen right?

If anything they would use less, which is awesome for all the reasons pointed out below. And yet without something revolutionary (wink wink) to apply to the skin (COUGHOTCCOUGHTSUMOYLE?) itself people will still need to resort to using sunscreen.

“”Sun tan threatens the coral reef””

I wonder what damage the year round slip slip slapping onto and into our porous skin is doing to humanity?

Now that the suncream devoted and long time advocating FDA has recently raised serious concerns about toxic chemicals easily entering and lingering in the blood stream, people might be on the look out for something that’s completely safe and 1000 times more effective.

When you look at the situation with a level head, it’s bad enough that adults are dealing with the constant application of these chemical soups but exposing young children and unborn fetuses to potent suncream chemicals is next level BS, at the same time demonising natural and disease preventing sunlight exposure is absolutely insane.

The concerns that were raised throughout the 2000s (by a few in the 90s) that were absolutely ignored and ridiculed because of the sacred cow status of suncream, might now be taken seriously.

https://www.ewg.org/sunscreen/report/the-tr...reen-chemicals/

“”2016- And though the published studies suggest that several chemical filters interact with human sex or thyroid hormones, there was not enough information about any of them to determine the potential risks to humans from hormone disruption.””

“”EWG has reviewed the existing data about human exposure and toxicity for the nine most commonly used sunscreen chemicals. The most worrisome is oxybenzone, which can cause allergic skin reactions (Rodriguez 2006). In lab studies, it is a weak estrogen and has potent anti-androgenic effects (Krause 2012, Ghazipura 2017).””

“”The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention routinely detect oxybenzone in more than 96 percent of Americans. Study participants who reported using sunscreen have higher oxybenzone exposures (Zamoiski 2015).””

“”In an evaluation of CDC-collected exposure data for American children, researchers found that adolescent boys with higher oxybenzone measurements had ***significantly lower total testosterone levels ***(Scinicariello 2016).””

“”According to the latest FDA sunscreens monograph, the agency needs further data to determine the GRASE status of oxybenzone, given that the “available literature … indicat[es] that oxybenzone is absorbed through the skin to a greater extent than previously understood and can lead to significant systemic exposure.… The significant systemic availability of oxybenzone … is a concern, among other reasons, because of questions raised in the published literature regarding the potential for endocrine activity.” Given the pervasiveness of oxybenzone exposures, we need further study to clarify its association with hormone disruption in children and adults.“”

“”EWG recommends consumers avoid sunscreens with oxybenzone. But sunscreen users are exposed to other active ingredients too. Margaret Schlumpf of the University of Zurich detected four other sunscreen filters along with oxybenzone in Swiss women’s breast milk, which suggests that the developing fetus and newborns may be exposed to these substances (Schlumpf 2008, Schlumpf 2010). She detected at least one sunscreen chemical in 85 percent of milk samples.””

I wonder seeings there are no safety concerns, whether Scenesse could be fast tracked for conditions like EPP. Seems like such a waste of time to delay for years longer an extremely likely therapy when safety is beyond doubt.

What! The worlds first systemic Photo protective, cancer preventative, long term proven absolutely safe Scenesse ?

The drug that stimulates, endogenous, 100% natural Eumelanin! shown to be greater then 99% effective at dissipating the negative effects of UVR over exposure!

Sorry thats all good BUT Scenesse has abuse potential soooo devastating it could cut skin cancer rates significantly within a couple of years. I know horrifying right!

What’s even more of a concern are the Billions of dollars at stake if ever Scenesse becomes widely available.

The potential for big industry suncream profits to be abused by Scenesse usage cannot be underestimated.
