G'day People,
While everyone's on the subject of treating themselves with Bio-A, i should tell of my own experience with it.
I have ulcerative colitis, which is a chronic condition resulting in ulcers in the bowel causing pain and the passing of blood amongst other problems. I have had my most severe 'breakout' lately, which would not respond to even the highest doses of the conventional medications. Steroids were the last resort. So before going on steroids i dosed myself with Bio-A 3 times daily and still take them now. To this day i am in remission, with absolutely no symptoms. It only took a month to clear up with no steroids. Good stuff IMO.

Same here.
If i purchase on Monday, then sell before close of trade Tuesday, providing i do not make a loss i do not have to have any money in the acc.
You should not have been charged a fee.

I agree.... so in reality, the ratio is not that important in the big scheme of things.

Thanks for that, Flower.
From what i gather from your explanation though, is that gold is unlikely to reach such levels on safe haven buying alone, where runaway inflation is not currently present.

Flower,
If the gold/oil ratio is as important as you say, how is there any chance for gold to make a decent rise from here, considering depressed oil prices, which seem to be here to stay for quite a while?
TIA

I can't believe BHP got it so wrong with their t/o offer.
Makes 3.4BHP shares for 1 RIO share look pretty good now. Some analysts were singing about 5:1 to complete the offer.
Makes me feel better when i get it wrong, though.

The main thing i've learnt in the short time i have been playing with shares, is that the "experts" know about as much as me - jackshit!
They all throw around predictions, contradicting one another...so someones bound to get it right once in a while. Waste of good oxygen. Can't believe they get paid to spout it.

I agree...i reckon any bad news repeatedly regurgitated creates a feedback loop, which makes the actual situation worse by breeding pessimism.
With constant access to news and more people actually taking an interest in the stock market because of compulsory super, it's no wonder confidence levels are at record lows - justified or not. You're a lot less likely to spend as you watch your super evaporate. Even your average blue collar worker now watches the finance news.
Anyway grabbed some CBA @$30.

I agree V1, but the reaction so far from POO tells me we are on the way down at least in the short term. If VBA can't rally on cheaper oil, i will get out. Ultra short term outlook for me ATM. IMO tomorrow oil drops below $100, DOW rallies on that and 911 anniversary....VBA should be good for a quick gain....or maybe i'm wrong.

Thanks DB,
Agree, this one is a slow mover. There're certainly a lot of complications with this one atm, which makes it a lot harder to judge which direction it's headed.
Thanks again.

G'day DB,
Apache getting gas going early(within days), but only @36% capacity insted of the 60% promised. Not too sure who gets priority, or if this is good or bad news for sp short term.
Any thoughts?

G'day everyone,
What the hell's goin' on? Smart people acting stupid. Have read and learnt stuff from each of you posters on this thread at one time or another, but surely you wouldn't carry on like this if it wasn't for the anonimity of hiding behind a computer screen.
Banter was entertaining to begin with, now it's gone beyond that.

G'day Bermuda,
Like i said, i'm no expert, but when i first bought into this one, it was for the huge gas potential. After reading that article a while back, it made me wonder what they would do with it. Need the black stuff IMO.

Hi All,
Have traded this a few times and still waiting to get back in.
Gas all bodes well for a company close to infrastructure, but IMO oil is needed to get this thing going because of where they are located.
They have mentioned gas to liquid, but i read an article in The Australian which said that we need to get to grip with carbon capture and storage before it's viable, because through manufacture to end use it produces 90% more CO2 than conventional liquids.
Just something to consider, i suppose.
Disclaimer;I'm definitely no expert.

I'm really trading in the short term atm, so a bounce to 20c would suit me fine.
I didn't really expect to hold for long so i'd be quite happy with that if it happens.

Hi Flower,
Agree sp is underdone, but what stops me buying too many more atm, is how the sp is going to react to the inevitable(probably short term) correction in the POO.
Has done pretty poorly at record oil prices so far. Tossed INP a while back for the same reason.

Grabbed some of these today, hoping for extra interest from a newspaper article and first gold pour tomorrow. Looks good for a trade IMO.

G'day,
SEY in trading halt. Production testing completed, i suppose and results must be good to warrant a halt. Might get capped a bit if it tries to run when it comes out of halt, though as ANZ holds almost 5%.

Hi All,
ITT drilling their prospect ATM, where rock-chip samples up to 608g/t Au, 32% Cu, 1970g/t ag were encountered. Worth a punt to me.

Hi All,
Someone just grabbed 500k and took the price up 17% in the process.
Can it be good results? Nah, not from these pr1cks.
Probably trying to pump it, while they dump a few million.

Hi All,
Big buyer pretty keen ATM; tactics changed.
He drops 2 buy orders in at the top price and keeps adding a few thousand to the one at the bottom every few minutes so as not to make the screen flash. He stays around 40k at a time, so as not to push the price up.
Sly bugger.

Just got burnt with CAV....well only singed, luckily. Just gotta say watch out for companies which use the media for announcements instead of the asx.

Hi DB,
But there are expectations of another 10% growthin China again this year, making a larger number even larger. Not to mention all of the other growth regions around the world.
Wouldn't internal demand have to kick in somewhere? This is an unprecedented shift IMO.
I don't think anyone really has a clue how it's going to pan out. Goes doubly for me.

Hi All,
Had a sell order in @1.30 this morning, hoping to buy back cheaper, but pulled it just before it got there. I'm too scared that some news is gonna come when i'm not holding.
Managed it yesty, but not willing to tempt fate again. Should've in hindsight.
Got a long way to run on this burst IMO.

Plenty of bot trading for accumulation still happening. Everytime i move my 10k order from the top of the pile, down or vise versa, a 9603 order will automatically follow.
Woops, just got 'em @91c. Anyway big players still buying.

Hi all,
Here's another one caught up in the dog turg of the Opes debarcle.
25c now. If anyone's up for a punt on the drill results that never come, go for it now.
Always due tomorrow, but tomorrow never comes.
Anyway tenements sound good, so worth a go at these prices IMO.

Hi All,
If anyone's up for a punt as testing is happening, now would be the time to grab some as it's caught up in the Opes bullshit. You can pick 'em up now at the same price as they were pre the oil find.

Just heard the interview...what a spindoctor!
More delays glossed over to look like a positive thing. I'm glad i waited before jumping into this one. Will wait for sub 10c, before buying or might be a good short term bounce off 10c.
Good luck holders.

Hi All,
Today would be a perfect buying opportunity for qgc, to grab a few more if they intend a takeover or just think it's a good investment.IMO if they don't move today, i would be more inclined to think they have done a deal with odn for the csg tenements.
JMHO anyway.

Yeah, i'm tossing up whether or not to grab some more now, or wait for tomorrow after the DOW drops a great big turd on us. Don't think it'll knock us back to far, though with that keen buyer on the scene. Looks ready for a run....market permitting.

Nah, reckon it's just traders getting out. Silly buggers anyway, hanging their sells out like that. The 90% of patients with undetectable HIV is a huge result and the improvements in their immune cell count is big also. Just my opinion, anyway.

G'day All,
Definitely a serious buyer here, picking up everything @83c and under.
Been doing so for a couple of days. He keeps dropping small parcels into the buy to entice sellers. When he gets no bites @82c, for example, he puts another buy @82.5 and immediately drops a couple of shares into it. Starting to run out of sellers at this level.
Reckon we're due for a good move shortly.

Hi Bello, consult
My take on the strong performance by BRM yesty, in a down market is that after the selloff in the big banks etc, there is a lot more money looking for a home. Most of it going into the bank i suppose, but lots of people chucking a few dollars into this.
Just my opinion anyway.
