SXA - Strata X Energy.

Please see my post in the SXA thread today.
Swabbing to commence next week, and to occur for 10 - 14 days to determine flow capacity and fluid content.

116 barrels of oil and 2,100 barrels of completion fluid recovered over a 30hour period. Comments on a US based chat site indicate that rates of up to 200 barrels a day could be expected from this well. This is just one of 4 very exciting prospects held by Strata.

Strata X (SXA) currently has 3 projects on the go.

Sleeping Giant Gas Project – North Dakota

Recently granted 4 drilling permits. Drilling anticipated on the first exploration well in coming weeks.

Maverick Oil Project – Eagle Ford Shale, South Texas.

Initial analysis of a 600 feet core identified several prospective oil bearing intervals. The multi stage stimulation anticipated to begin in early March.

Vail Oil Project – Illinois

Currently working with Halliburton to schedule a revised multistage horizontal completion stimulation. Finalisation expected shortly. 2D seismic will also be conducted in early March.

Share price has been weak over the past few weeks/months with little activity occurring. The MD will be presenting at the ASX Spotlight Investor Conference in New York 27/2/14 and in London 3/3/14. Dual listing in Toronto.

BRU is currently moving a rig from the Whicher Range in SW WA to their site in the Kimberley region of WA in preparation for the spudding of their Ungani 3 well within the next 14 days.

In this case its not selling in front of spud, but buying. Entered BRU this am.

CVN has put on 7% today, ahead of the spud of their Phoenix South1 well, and the closure of their entitlement issue tomorrow.

One slightly different but may just come to the party for negotiating a huge farm out deal is COD Cossack Energy. Must admit did some research on this one after it presented on one of the flyers they pop up and was intrigued, wondering whether there is a catch? Low market cap, COS as mentioned in the article is phenomenal for oil/gas and a farm out pending? Anyone have any thoughts on this one? biggrin.gif

In view of the proximity of the Phoenix spud for CVN thought it worthwhile tabulating the whole history of the PCL well. To enlarge chart simply click ON the chart itself.

This well, as it turns out was a case of buy and hold for the total run of the drilling, with 3 great trading opportunities.

Can you recall the PCL spud date, and the total depth date, so that an accurate chart can be studied in retrospect?
