Worth noting the TPP deal hasn't been ratified yet in NZ. At least not as far as I am aware. Hence the face to face trade talks between USA and China.

While Trump is tweeting on about the Chinese giving the US market access the Chinese are saying nothing about the Hong Kong dairy company I follow. The US owned forestry company NZX:RBC/Arborgen is saying and doing nothing while waiting and so are so many other companies. Pfizer included.

Nothing has changed in hundreds of years when it comes to the Infidel's foreign policy. In the early days it was go west young man. Then it was Commodore Perry and his kuro fune. It took WWII for that to succeed. Now its China and the US.

Looking for China to open their Markets not only to Financial Services, which they are now doing, but also to our Manufacturing, Farmers and other U.S. businesses and industries. Without this a deal would be unacceptable!

Hope Trump opens a window in that little office. Must be kind of stuffy with so many people squeezing around the table. Perhaps the resident Kiwi, Mr. Liddell can assist.

At the same time a high level Chinese Trade delegation is visiting Trump as well. Must be crowded in that little Oval Office.

Is there a particular purpose for the Aussie Foreign Trade Minister to be meeting Trump and not her counter part on the eve of Super Bowl and Chinese New Year?

Must be the heat wave. Why else would they be so slow with the quarterly?

And all the kids are back at school by the end of this week. Nothing ever happens during school holidays.

One week til the quarterlies. Can we expect a surprise? Wouldn't be a surprise if its expected.

The middle of Chinese New Year imho. Lets the Americans hog the limelight.

If Bush Junior had said, Saddam has ddRNAi as a WOMD then he would have been vindicated in going into Iraq because look at how many little mousies have been needlessly killed to find out that ddRNAi is a bust. It's a crime against mouse-anity.

Twenty years and still pre-clinical and capital hungry still!

Lets hope something comes of it this time. Could be a Q1 closing even but given the size of it more like a Q2 close.
