Thanks annaliese.

Been reading your typically imformative posts on NEN for some time and finally dived in with a modest holding on the dip the other day.

Now furiously doing homework!

Cheers

One of the NAPE deals includes our Taft acreage on the Buena Vista flank.

Its a conventional oil play at 30 API oil, targetting 9MB.

We are offering a 40% working interest.

Someone(s) has been doing a good job taking advantage of the global economy dip and getting some Neon very cheap. It appears orchestrated to the buyers advantage.

Very cheeky timing given the amount of publicity the company is proactively getting during the next 6 weeks. Not to mention the news flow that will occur during this period.

I heard from a third party present at NAPE that Neon appears to be interested in additional cash flow streams along the lines of NSA. Nothing new in that given Neon has said at various times they are looking at US opportunities. The key seems to be in the economy of scale of tying back to existing Neon facilities or general nearby infrastructure. Projects don't necessarily have to be too big to be very profitable. No doubt why further exploration is being investigated near NSA.

Guijarrell Hills is of the same principle. Initial flow could be 60bopd to Neon assuming success. Greater field development could see an average production of 300bopd to Neon over the economic field life. It does'nt sound alot but its a few million in the course of a year.

I should have added KC is also presenting at "The Excellence in Oil and Gas Conference" at Sydney at the months end.

They are certainly getting around the traps which in part explains the increased broker coverage. No doubt more will emerge on the deals front as a result of all the farm-out promotion.

Some cheap shares went through a few minutes back when someone unloaded to 21c. Good to see a healthy rebound on what is a down day for the market.

Hi Apache,

I was just reviewing some of the "prospect conferences" and see Neon is at SEAPEX on 4-7/April. There is a dedicated session on Vietnam with Kjell Johansen of PGC presenting a paper titled "Phu Khanh Basin, Offshore Vietnam. The last true frontier of the Vietnam East Sea Margin - an insight into the petroleum system"

(I hope Phu Khanh Basin is not an English derivation for "tough Basin"!)

Neon is an exhibitor there, presumbly for the two Vietnam Blocks though stories suggest other acreage may be on show.

Neon has just been at NAPE ( North American Prospect Expo). A huge event by all accounts with some 15000 attendees. We had floor space to display our farm in opportunities.

They will also be at APPEX ( Prospect and property Expo) early April as an exhibitor.
