I think Corvus is the red spot in the L shaped block to the left of Reindeer.

150PJ, if I remember correctly.

Hi Kent

Where does Corvus fit in the map? --- I remember yonks ago I phoned PPP and they mentioned that Corvus could conceivably be developed once Reindeer was up and running.

Cheers

Commander

With today's FID for Reindeer the Corvus field may get a boost.

Also in the graph, Maitland looks already nicely tied in to John Brookes rolleyes.gif

I would have thought the PPP shares could have been placed with a super fund or such - just like 1987 sell at any price - they do not consider the effect it has on their other normal customers ! Anyway PPP in a great position.

Commander C.

I was thinking the same thing. I would love NZO to get involved with Solid Energy at Huntly. They could have as much as the Kupe field..and its onshore.

This thing is BIG,.

PPP could do the same thing in Aussie. forget the oil. This CSG gas is something to behold.

PPP could take out any number of CSG plays with their cash. If they dont , the Indians will.

I reckon that one day not too far away the PPP sp will double.

Sort of agree -- I think slowly-slowly-catchey-monkey is probably the best thing to do in this market environment...just an auction market thing.

We can guess what sort of stuff that might be on the "to watch" list..things like
* MOS 29% interest in PRL8 Kimu gas (PNG)
* DLS 100% interest in Turtle/Barnett
* perhaps even FAR's 5% (to be diluted) interest in Beibu Gulf project with ROC/PSA/HZN, but perhaps that's the wrong timezone for TR
* more Maitland and Corvus (from Santos or Kufpec or Tap)...perhaps buy out Kufpec (e.g. Amulet)
* if into the difficult onshore thing, always Bounty and partners horrible Utopia oil undevelopment too
* or the VPE/Roma/Impress field

Note these are potential appraisal/development projects, not farmin expensively into wildcat exploration....would be nice to get some near production projects too though, but don't think there are that many around now that would be going cheap.

[I do see Chimera's point...would be interesting to know if PPP made any attempt at a cash offer to buy out the OTHER non-NWE royalty interests over AED's Puffin field....if not even bothered to try and track down, is that a sackable offence???]

However I would prefer PPP/TR to think long and hard about any purchase such as the above, too think of all the fishhooks, rather than rush into anything.
