CommanderC, I only have a few oilers on my radar and unfortunately KAR is not one of them, so I can't really comment about a comparison between the two. Thats not to say that KAR is less nor better, its just that I don't have time to do the research. -------------------- Buyer beware: Do your own research before investing....

Hi Apache (& Scorcher) Is GOP comparable to KAR do you think? In my opinion, the Finder acquisition is the bee's knees for GOP but would like to hear other's thoughts. I read carefully through Finder's stuff a few months back which I think was on their website, you seem to have found the same info. (Alas still waiting for the next dip <25 so can accumulate some, which probably means it will go to 40c next:)) Cheers Commander C P.S. Are you two the only ones following GOP??? |

GOPs been overlooked by the market lately but it has not stopped the SP from is creeping up on the Upper Bollinger Band (be it on small volume).
May see some action once the SP holds above 31.5c 3 weeks to the Qtrly Report so may get an farm in announcement before month end.

Hmmm.... GOPs JV partner EAX was awarded Block 1101 Onshore Madagascar.

Mixed results at FOSSETMAKER-1 FOSSETMAKER-1 found a 10M gas column but wireline suggests the formation is tight.
Despite the smaller than expected result, it shows that the Browse Basin has potential to host more hydrocarbons. -------------------- Buyer beware: Do your own research before investing....

GOP could test the Upper Bollinger band in the next few days.
Meanwhile just south of GOPs pending AC/P36, Shell/NXS may have an announcement on the potential of condensate at Fossetmaker 1 tomorrow.

NXS's Fossetmaker-1 well (Echuca Shoals) is coming up to the potential payzone at WA-377-P (south of GOP's pending AC/P36 tenement). Was at 3,490 metres yesterday.
Zone of interest is around 3600m to 3800m. According to NXS, Echuca Shoals could be 300MMbl condensate (OIP P10) or 4.7Tcf (P10).
